This store, part of a national chain, has a large selection of photo frames and pet supplies. It has some furniture, which is located around the store rather than in a single section. It is a HORRIBLE mess. As other reviewers have noted (and shared pictures), this store has lousy merchandising, a terrible setup for displaying clearance items, and product all over the floors and aisles. While the towel shelves aren't as bad as some pictures others have posted, as of August 2018, this place is a hot mess. Recommend going to one of the other stores in the East Bay, which have the same merchandise, but in a much easier shopping environment. Additional note: that parking lot is awful on weekends. Tried to go in to pick up a last minute item 15 minutes before closing, candle gift for a friend, and i was told i needed to place my 30 lb dog in the nasty shopping carts...i asked why? If there was a no dog policy? Man said "theres another dog in here, in case they fight" . Im 8 months pregnant and cant lift 30 lbs and my dog is very well trained. Anyways i left. I have shopped at so many Home goods locations even in different states, from Southern California to Napa to this location! I am a home goods junkie this by far is the effing worst location I have ever been to! The staff is rude the managers are EFFING RUDE. I asked to even give me corporates number and the manger Lori said she would yet she still has not reached out to me. The other manager Martha was rude if I could give this place place a 0 I would. I never cuss but this place literally is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and it is shame they do not have better management or even staff. All they told me is yea we can't find it sorry I was in the store for an hour waiting while they looked and that's all they said was sorry it's gone. So they told me to come back since there manager is gone. Livid I rented a uhaul JUST FOR THIS! And all they can tell me is your chair isn't here. I come back on Monday to talk to the Manager Lori AND WHILE IM WAITING I SEE MY EFFING CHAIR THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND ON THE SALES FLOOR!!!!!! I show them this is the chair I paid for luckily I even took a picture of it! I showed them it's the exact one with the same exact tags but the price was marked up! They made me wait another hour just to give me my effing chair they told me that's not the chair I purchased it's now $300 I said I have my receipt this is the chair I bought that's not my fault the price changed it's now my property I bought it and it's on the sales floor. Literally my boyfriend had to call them and talk to them because they did not want to give me an item I paid for!? 2 hours later they tell me okay we'll give it to you. I told them I do not have a car to fit it in I rented a effing uhaul and I need a way to get it home. They told me to use the app lugz. The HomeGoods Store in Dublin is extremely messy and never has enough staff. I've walked into the store on 3 occasions in the past month to only turn around and leave because the check out line was at least 15 customers deep. And the aisles were blocked because so much product had either fallen on the floor and no one is cleaning it up and they appeared to be trying to move stock from one location to another in the middle of the day. I blame it on Poor management. I will continue to shop the HomeGoods in San Ramon. It's worth the drive. The store is gorgeous with helpful creative displays, CLEAN, and they always have cashiers, so the wait to check out is fast. read more

We moved to Dublin about a year ago and I was so happy when this Home Good opened close to us! I've practically accessorized my home from this store! Pros: You really can find great deals here. I've bought beautiful modern mirrors, glass vase in different shapes and sizes, all bath items, laundry room/ pantry organization stuff, kitchen canisters/ trays, table lamps, side tables, cushions, candles, items for toddler room...the list is almost endless! Though they cater to all styles, the pieces I picked up were all a great fit for our modern decor. In fact, the new model homes in Dublin seem to be furnished and accessorized from Home Goods (yup, I picked up a few items and saw the store price tag!). They have a lot of great stuff that is popular on Pinterest as well. Found great deals on office mail organizers for a command center and beautiful glass canisters to hold soaps/ candles for the bath. Also, I love love love the fact that they are open till late! Cons: Like others have mentioned, this store gets cluttered and over crowded depending on when you go. They seem to have too much stuff and too little space for it especially when compared to the store in San Ramon. Also, I've had a few bad experiences with customer service and most recent one was with Jacqueline. Think they are just stressed out!! Wish they were more friendly. But, I'm thick skinned and love bargains so...I'll still be visiting them once a week ! read more

This was my first time in this store. I was shocked at how messy this store was! It wasn't just the first area I walked to, It was the WHOLE store!! Looked liked there had been a free for all! It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. After trying to maneuver around the isles avoiding items all over the floor, I put my cart back and left. I can't believe management would allow their store to be in such a disarray. If your customers are seeing it, you the manager, has to see it also. Customer service here earned their five stars for me today. I purchased a chair for my grandmother and I needed to pick it up the next day, but I wasn't going to make it before they closed. When I called, I asked if I could still pick it up and they were kind enough to let me in 10 min after closing to pick up my chair and even help get it in the car. I am terribly disappointed with my recent purchase of a large wall mirror from this location yesterday. I purchased a 12 foot tall wall mirror yesterday, which an associate very pleasantly helped carry to the front of the store to ring up. After my purchase, the male employee who rang me up made zero efforts to help with assisting me to my car with this large mirror. In fact, I overheard him speaking with his co-worker (young, female) about when he can take his break repeatedly. She also saw me trying to carry this oversized mirror and did not offer any assistance. As I attempted to drag this mirror out of the store, the male employee saw me struggling but did not even ask if he could help in any way. This mirror is almost double my height and almost 65 pounds. I was appalled at the poor customer service. As I finally moved the mirror outside, 2 customers who were walking into the store actually asked if they could help me with moving the item into my car. 2 strangers were more helpful than 2 employees of your store. I only wish I had gotten the names of the 2 employees that were incredibly rude and inconsiderate to me. I am not surprised at this store location's 2 star rating on Yelp. read more

I love HomeGoods! Over the last few years I have accessorized most of my home from the various HomeGoods in the Bay Area. I wanted to share the great service I received last week at the HomeGoods in Dublin from Jeremy. First of all, he asked me if I needed help, which I did because I couldn't move the large "arms" that hold the area rugs so I could see the rug I was interested in. Because the rug looked a different color when it was horizontal versus vertical, he offered to lower the rug a few feet so I could see it on the ground, which made all the difference! After he took the tag to the check out area so I could pay for it, he and another team member loaded the 9' x 12' area rug into my Prius, and amazingly it fit! Thanks to Jeremy and HomeGoods, my six month search for an area rug has ended! read more

Why such terrible reviews? I've been a few times and most recently over the weekend. Found exactly what I needed each time. I purchased throw pillows and prices were beyond reasonable. The line moved quickly and the cashier was really friendly. This store is kept clean and as organized as it can be considering the chaotic atmosphere. Much busier over the weekend, as expected, so parking can be tricky. I try to visit during a weekday morning since the store is much easier to get through, especially with a shopping cart, and parking is a breeze. read more

My daughter talked me into going into this store and I was glad she did. I've never been to a Homegoods store and now know I could pretty much spend hours there. Prices seem very reasonable. Selection is a bit hit and miss with some items being what you might find at a dollar store, but I think this sort of adds to the fun as you search through a massive variety of different and often unique items with some gems hidden in the mix. It's funny because some of the customers can get pretty aggressive since many of the items seem to be one offs. It was actually kind of funny and made me feel like I was doing some serious bargain shopping. LOL. I will say that the woman putting items out on the floor was super rude. She blocked aisles with her basket and wouldn't move far enough for anyone to go around her. If you wanted to go into an aisle where she was, yeah, that wasn't going to happen. She was also very careless with the items she was putting out on the floor banging glass decorative items against one another likely damaging them in the process. Kind of sucks since many items are unique and one offs with no other like items in stock if you wanted to buy an item that she damaged. The cashier was actually very nice and took the time to carefully wrap the glass items we purchased. Very different from how the woman on the floor was handling the same items. We'll go back and will just be sure to closely inspect anything we buy to be sure it hasn't been damaged by a careless employee. read more

I bought a stove top espresso maker from another homegoods location and after using it for the first time, I found out it is not working properly. I came to return it to this store because it's near my work and they would not return it because I used it. Lol. I understand not returning used things like towels, but this espresso maker is faulty and the manager could have made an exception. read more

The prices are good, needed curtains for 2 windows. The same look would have cost $230 at JC Penny and we got everything we needed here for about $90. BUT with things you need to assemble when you get home - OPEN BOXES TO MAKE SURE ALL PARTS ARE IN THEM! We bought 2 identical pairs and only checked one box. One set of curtains are fine - the other is missing everything needed to mount them to the wall. Pretty annoying. We moved furniture, disconnected electronics to get to this window, was all ready to install them, open the box and.... can't. I get this was probably a returned item at one point, but isn't it someones job to open the box and make sure everythings inside before putting it out for sale again? read more

Walked into a Home Goods for the first time today and man I did not know where to begin. Soooo many cool stuff that I wanted to buy !! It's way better than marshals. Well.. I like this store, but often when I go there I can't find a place to park. I often end up leaving and going elsewhere because there is inadequate parking. People drive around in circles waiting for someone to leave. I almost got backed in to by someone maneuvering to get a space. Manager named Cassandra interrogates you for any furniture that is returned. Purchased an item 2 days ago. Returned with receipt and 3 tags hanging out of the upholstered chair. She examined it for several minutes and then approved it. Then lectured me about not waiting so long to return furniture. I pointed out that I bought the chair 2 days ago. No apology! Then pulls out a scanner and types in the product ID to make sure I am returning the item from their store. Just walks away, no smile, no thank you. SO rude!!! If life is so miserable that you cannot manage to be professional and pleasant, then don't come to work! Senior regional management really needs to remove Cassandra from this store. Store manager decided to let go of a $200+ sale all because she says she's been there long enough to know the prices of all the items. Yet, she lost my sale because she wanted to mark up an item by an extra $10 with no price tag to start and nothing even comparable to what she wanted to charge me. She has no business sense.
