Specially during the holidays, they have really nice items to purchase and give as gifts to loved ones. My main complaint about this location is that it is very unorganized. Staff are not helpful most of the time. They keep standing in the aisles and block customers from looking at items. The lines are very long and most of the time they have two registers open. For price, I would say they have items that are really priced reasonably. For parking, I would say it would be hard to find a parking spot during weekends. read more

I've always loved HomeGoods. This is my local HomeGoods and it's always clean restocked and the workers are very friendly however, in the last month, I have been treated like a shoplifter due to the workers miss labeling their product. check out times are increasing as they have to call a manager to inspect the purchase and have you walk them to the area to show that one of their workers miss marked that entire shelf of the same exact item I'm buying. once you complete the purchase and take the item home you don't even want it because the whole experience was terrible. I've ended up returning at a different location because I don't want to be reminded of that moment. I have my receipt- both the digital and paper. if it's a return, I'm asked 25 questions as the item is fully inspected. I visited the HomeGoods store in Burbank today, 5/14/26, around 2:30-3:00 PM. I was checked out at cash register #3 by a sales associate whose name I unfortunately did not catch. I had a very unpleasant experience. I asked a simple question during checkout, and the employee (I don't know her name; she sounded Hispanic) responded in a rude, aggressive, and unprofessional manner. Her attitude and facial expressions made it clear that she was irritated and unhappy to help customers. As a paying customer, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Customer service is very important, and employees should treat customers with patience, kindness, and professionalism, even during busy or stressful moments. I regularly shop at the Studio City HomeGoods location, and the employees there are always friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The difference in customer service was very noticeable. This trip was def worth standing in that long line that felt like eternity but then again it's holiday shopping time so that's also why. I would give them ZERO if it was a possibility! Came in to purchase items. I always go on the sale section. Found a few pieces continued to register to purchase. Justine the sales associate pulled on each tag to recheck the items already making me uncomfortable, but do your job. She then ACCUSED me of tag not being proper. This is your job not mine! She called onto the store manager yelling "switch tag" not sure what this meant. Store manager proceeded to walk to me and double check each item accusing me the tags were incorrect. I bought this lamp cover from HomeGoods in Burbank yesterday, but it didn't fit my lamp. Today, I went back to the store to return it. The employee told me that the item was not supposed to be sold with the cover only, thought I kept the lamp to myself and only returned the cover and refused to process the refund. I asked the manager to check the security footage for proof, but they said the person who handles the cameras only comes in twice a week. I then asked the manager to verify the transaction with the employee who sold it to me. She said she didn't know who the employee was or their schedule. Basically, refuse to take actions immediately. They told me they would investigate the issue and asked for my phone number. When I asked how long the investigation would take, an employee at the counter said it could take up to a week. Lots of great options for home decor at a mostly fair price. Some items were surprisingly high.. Others very reasonable. Overall the store was clean and well stocked (just under 3 weeks till Xmas). The aisles are way too close together. You should be able to fit a cart going in each direction! And there were several places in the store that had stocking ladders and carts of merchandise in the already narrow aisles. Prices for accent pillows are ridiculously expensive! They do have great stocking stuffers and kitchy items at a fair price. Not really my kind of store but I can see why people like it. Cashier was extremely friendly and the checkout line went really quick, which is probably good as the gauntlet of last minute eye catchers could potentially raise your final bill another $50 lol. I like that they have 1 line as I will inevitably ALWAYS choose the longest lane when given a choice. So thank you for that. And there's a big parking lot but they share it with Aldi, Lancers, NewStar and Hobby Lobby, so it can get a little crazy during peak times. read more

Meaning, they have so much stuff that it seems like they don't have really enough room to put it all. So, you can expect to have to navigate around some of the other customers in some of the smaller isles if you hope to get from one side to the other. I come to this HomeGoods because it's close to where I live in Burbank, however, I can never find what I'm looking for in Holiday decor. It's so minimal. Also, I pay more here than at any other HomeGoods store, probably because sales tax is higher here. But the more important reason for my review is one particular cashier. Every time I get her at checkout, it's the same old song and dance. Her aggressive "sales pitch" for a rewards card is annoying. I have to say NO several times before she stops pushing. Do they get commission on every card they get you to sign up for? I would never get a rewards card that is used as a debit card, having HomeGoods to go through my bank. This HomeGoods is in a complete disarray compared to other locations. One of the biggest issues that I have is how disorganized things are here. Staff members do a poor job in checking out customers quickly and efficiently even when there are multiple employees running the cash registers. I'm not sure if this is due to an uptick of new hires since this location is fairly new or just lack of care. Products are also scattered and not neatly displayed so you'll likely see items in aisles where they are not supposed to be in. The one good thing that I like about this location is the parking. There is an ample amount of space so there should never be an issue with finding a spot. People must be really into buying home goods right now. COVID-19 must be driving increased interest in home decor. This particular location feels a little smaller than some HomeGoods locations. The aisles feel narrower. The selection can be called random but fairly comprehensive. They carry dishes, decorative glass, cutlery, pots, pans, kitchen gadgets, snacks, baskets, towels, rugs, bedding, pillows, lamps, mirrors, picture frames, framed art, fake flowers, fake plants, baskets, candles, iPhone cases, pet accessories, toys, electronic accessories, and even some furniture (chairs, sofas). They have some nice brands like Cuisinart, Max Studio, Calvin Klein, Staub, Kitchen Aid, Wustof, Henkels, Kate Spade, etc. Some of the items are seasonal. This place is a shit show. I purchased an item that's broken and I've tried to return it here three different times. Every single time I'm here the line has over 50 to 60 people, So I end up leaving and come back again. Their excuse is "Covid" and they can't open all registers. However they have no problem packing people in like sardines to ring them out. Management needs to get a grip on this place and home goods corporate should hire an experienced store manager that knows how to get customers in and out quicker. Desk is probably smaller than average normal desks so we thought it was going to fit into backseat of our sedan.... Only if it was about 1 inch smaller.... Anyways, it didn't fit so I had to bring my minivan to pick up in 3 days because we are not around the area.... We filled out the paperwork and came back one day after the date we were supposed to pick up due to emergency. They didn't cancel our order and they didn't say anything. Bad service at this store, 4 cashier lights where turned on and 4 girl employees where just talking it up about Chick-fil-a and they had a big line waiting to be helped they didn't seem to care at all. Went today for the 1st time to this location. Arrived at opening, 10am on Sunday. Fantastic time to go. Hobby Lobby is closed, and there is plenty of parking! Also, very few people at opening. The parking lot is empty. Get a choice of a small or large shopping cart! I opted for the large. Lots, and lots of goodies. Better than many other locations. Well air conditioned. Because I did not go to the opening, and will Not go if there are many cars in the parking lot, due to the continuing Covid, and Variants problem. They do require masks, but do not require vaccination, I arrive early and stay a very short time, before the masses. Just walked in to a HomeGoods for the first time. I was super excited as I was looking for some decor. I walked in with my dog. He's a small ten pound dog and he's very well behaved. We passed by a few workers and a few greeted me and never mentioned anything about my dog. As I was going through the portraits and paintings, an employee walks past me and said "hey you can't have your dog in here", and I proceeded to tell him that no one said anything when I walked in. His excuse was, "we have no greeters", and I also mentioned they had no signage in the front saying otherwise and he cut me off and said they weren't allowed and said he'd let it slide this time. The way he approached me was incredibly rude and his attitude was distasteful. I immediately left. I have worked in retail all my life and I didn't like his tone towards me or how he kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain myself. What an awful experience.
