Not sure why this store is called "five below" since many items are more than $5. Just sayin...But with that out of the way, I do love this store. It has everything! Candy, candy, did I mention they have candy?! Lol Also, beauty items, makeup, socks, key chains, candy, oh yeah, said that...cell phone accessories, home Items, exercise items & more. You will not leave empty handed. I actually found "now and later" candy here. Use to eat them when I was a kid! Great place for stocking stuffers, gifts and for yourself! *Self serve registers (employees are near by to help you if needed. *Plastic bags available for .10 cents *Plenty of free parking in the lots near by.

I had been to one of Five Below stores in the west side of the San Fernando valley; I like to compare it to a scale, Asian discount store! Today I went on their website and found the exact same Moshi that I usually buy it Amazon for $6.50 a box for only $2.50 a box I ordered 14 boxes : five in Ube flavor 4 in green tea flavor and 4 in milk tea flavor! I really like the Ube flavor the most but it seems like they are limiting you to five boxes per order ! Their shipping is $7.95 regardless of the amount you spend It takes about 7 to 10 business days to receive the merchandise which is fine I really like that store

I stopped by this Five Below yesterday while exploring Noho West plaza. My sisters love this store so I figure I would go inside to see what they have during the holiday season. This store is pretty big inside and organized just right where everything you need is toward the front. They have great prices on candy here so this should be the place to go before the watching a movie. They have other things as well like I saw a claw machine that isn't five or below but it's still a decent price. They have some self checkout station here to help speed things up.

I'm still trying to figure out if I like Five Below or not. I hav been to the Porter Ranch location once a few years ago and didn't like it much. But when this Noho West location opened I stopped by twice already. They have really cute things for the house, garden, personal care products, kids stuff and much more. I liked their book section and the stationary items. Really cute things. This location is fully stocked and organized. Customer service is ok. The prices are good overall.

1 bag for the price of two.

Great store overall. Brand new store so not much to complain about. This was my 4th visit: Came after the gym just to get decor and tools for my home. Had great "me time" browsing through the store. Finally opted for 4 things. As I was checking out, I loaded up my stuff onto the counter. Rudy, the manager, was ringing me up and loading up my stuff into a reusable bag. This is the dialogue that occurred: "oh I don't need a reusable bag" "Are you sure? They fit more" (they don't) "No it's okay I don't need one" "Are you sure they're only 25 cents" "No thank you. It's okay" "They do fit more" "No I'd like just a plastic one" As I was politely declining, he was trying to persuade me and giving me an attitude that seemed to grow each time I said no. First off, I don't need to explain why I didn't need one but I will now. I am super green. I do use reusable bags. I like these thin bag to used for cat litter at home, so I repurpose them. Secondly, I have a closet full of reusable bag that I use daily but if I'm going to Five Below, I'm going to opt for the thin bags that most stores don't have to use for cat litter. After the dialogue above he whispers under his breath "The other ones are 10 cents." I get 10 cents for the bags they give in Ralphs that are thick, but at this point I was too fed up to question. Rudy has such a pushy attitude that makes me feel like he accidentally ordered an overstock of those reusable bags and he's just trying to fix his mistake. I got one plastic bag. One. They're supposed to be 5 cents. He charged me for two. Really inappropriate behavior. The other employees, they're really awesome and helpful! They have great personalities that make it easy talk to.

Although other stores may offer larger and better quality items which still varies week to week, I love how John the owner finds ways of keeping customers coming back including Ikea bag fills, raffle tickets to attend their drawing every Saturday through Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 that can win you store credit which keeps you coming back even more, golden tickets on Fridays hidden throughout the store that it found and when you are free item along with a drink or snack of your choice and a wheel spin that can win other prizes and discounts or points that you add up for all of your purchases that you can use towards more raffle tickets to win or discounts off of your purchase. Destiny is one of the most kind hardworking and supportive store associates I have ever met and she also makes me feel incredibly welcome every time I come back. This place also offers U-Haul rentals and a pickleball court to rent out. If you're only going to go to this store once you absolutely need to go Friday morning when items are only $9 and be there an hour prior to be first in line and get access to the best stuff! Or Thursday morning when everything is 50 cents or less. Always love this place! For me, everything seems fair for the quality. They need to have more cash registers open to get people in and out quicker but otherwise very friendly staff. They have people stocking at all times. CASH ONLY!! They have ATM's but just bring your cash, sometimes ATM's run out of money. Every day the have different color tags with discount.

The prices are CRAZY high for a thrift store. I understand they operate trucks and a brick and mortar building but for them to be charging nearly retail prices for used clothes and items they got AT NO COST is just insane. Parking is usually packed and you may end up parking on the streets of the local neighborhood. However if you have donations I'd drop them off at the door THEN find parking. There are often 3-5 tag colors for sale. However most of the items you select will conveniently be a label color off sale. The workers must have paper cuts from as often as they change the tag colors. Come expecting to spend at least an hour if you're on the hunt for something specific. They often have a good variety of purses and shoes. I mainly purchase small home decor items, workout clothes and furniture. I found a gigantic lightweight canvas in the art section that I just love. And I'm constantly checking the vinyl section for gems, all of which are typically $3 or less each. Take a second to view the jewelry counter, you may find some nice earrings behind the glass or costume jewelry hanging up. All the "good stuff" is located behind the counter. That includes items like video game consoles, "luxury" bags, sealed items, cameras and lenses, smaller electronics, instruments, etc. Apparently they're open on Sundays now which is new and still pretty calm since I don't think many people know about it. A lot of the workers are mainly Spanish speaking so do not be offended if they don't answer you right away, they will quickly locate someone bilingual to help. If you can take your time you'll find some good stuff, however with the rising prices the deals are better some days than others. I would give them 3 stars but the prices lately are just brutal.
