Definitely the biggest Barnes & Noble store I've been to. Has plenty of parking outback which makes it easy peasy to get in and out. Loved the Cafe area! It was quite large and welcoming. Nothing like reading and enjoying some yummy coffee. They have a great selection of books. They also had some great deals on books. I knew what I wanted and was about to find it relatively fast. Cashier was super helpful and nice. Talked to me about their membership, but wasn't pushy about it. Just have me the facts and let me make my own decision.

    the dragonfruit lemonade in question

This is Buns and Noble. The drinks are made wrong and a dragonfruit lemonade looks like pee! the cake pop tastes like raw cookie batter :( the service is mid, not bad not good. the price is like regular starbucks.

Found some new fun & even banned books! Had to get them!

I love book stores! B&N Westlake village is home now. I know I can find everything I need in a book & more. I became a card holding member here & now get perks!

Could be, the best B&N of the San Fernando Valley? I think so! Barnes & Nobles - (Downtown) Burbank, just outside the infamous Burbank Town Center is neighbor to the AMC 6, Crunch Fitness and CPK aka California Pizza Kitchen. It shares a lot with these business in the outdoor half of the BTC/Mall area and living up to it's Barnes & Noble name is quite big.... Carrying an assortment of books and branks from kid to adult in all subjects, categories, how to do, do it for you/do it yourself and beyond. Considering there aren't as many large chain or even larger bookstores I'm grateful this B is still thriving in the B. They keep the lines flowing no matter what time of day, day of the week or holiday weekend. Friendly service from the cafe to checkout. Typically always greeted when entering and/or thanked for your visit. Ended up getting a board game of all things for a friend and a gift for my niece (Happy Birthday today)... I was shopping with my friend Art and he actually food a nice book or two on sale, which they do have regardless if you're a member, though you'd get a better discount and price if you are. Great cards for all occasions and some nice stationary as well. Q-Tip: The don't really advertise as much but as an alternative to their $39.99 /year membership (roughly less than $3.50 a month) - you can also sign up for a free membership - which I did - and collect stamps to save: - 1 stamp for every $10 spent in a purchase - 10 stamps = $5 reward

Love Barnes and Noble. I'm so happy that this location is still in business, so many of them closed. I like stopping by once in a while and browse through the books, specially the bargain selection. I always find cookbooks, travel books, designing books and more for a reasonable price. I love adding to my library constantly. The cafe inside is nice to. Grab a cup of coffee, take a break, unwind. Lots of parking Huge selection of books Kids section with toys as well Great customer service

A man name Jered (if I get it right) carrying this golden stand behind my daughter and he was saying "coming through " and my daughter not hearing/responding and I told him "sorry he's not hearing you as she wearing earplugs, special child" he responded was rolling his eyes and a head shake gesture. I was offended and hurt . Right away I told him I don't like the way he reacted and he told me "do you know how heavy it is?" I told him that their other way to carry it and please don't work during operation time when no one on the place.

I've worked a variety of customer service jobs over the years and know that dealing with the public isn't always a walk in the park. That being said, when I go out anywhere and need assistance I try to make things as painless as possible. I went in this afternoon in attempts to purchase the new "Baking Yesteryear" book by Dylan Hollis and was met with PHENOMENAL customer service from the staff on duty. I had trouble finding the book in question and sought out an employee to help me find it. Turns out it was a bit tricky to locate and soon 3-4 employees as well as the store manager were on the hunt to help me find it! After about 15 or so minutes turning the store over to locate it, I gave up hope and got ready to leave. On my way out, a lovely woman with (awesome) green hair found me in the store and had the book in hand! Customer service like this is what keeps me shopping in store instead of online. (Sorry I didn't learn your name miss!)

My wife and I stopped by here because she wanted to get some nursing prep book and also some other books. This is my first time in a Barnes & Noble in a while, I think almost 10 years. When we walked in a worker greeted us and asked if we needed any help. I went browsing around the store to see what they have since it's my first time here. I saw the kids area which is really nice and I think they have story time on certain days. I found the technology book section and just browse through the CompTIA books. They have a cafe inside the store too if you want coffee. I also stumble upon some Legos and they had some Star Wars theme. The store is overall nicely organized and decorated. It's not like a library where you'll have to be super quiet but it's manageable if you're expecting some silent when you are reading inside here. Some people just come here to sit down and read a book for free.

    Plenty of games

It's located off of Cahuenga Blvd & Chandler Blvd, with a small private parking lot out back and plenty of street parking around. I knew this bookstore was stacked but wow! The Iliad is literally stacked with books! From floor to ceiling, this place is packed with books every which way. Because of this and narrow aisles, it can get kind of tight in places but it's easy to maneuver around. They have practically every category/genre you can think of, but be prepared to take your time since it'll take a while to look through everything. There are some seats if you want to take a load off and there's a clean restroom near the back. The new and used books vary in price, but for the most part they're on the cheaper side. The employees were nice and they even have a couple of friendly cats that roam the store (so watch your step!). I can't believe it's taken me this long to visit The Iliad, but I'm a fan and I'll definitely be back!

I've been a longtime fan of the Iliad bookstore ever since it was over at its previous location off…read moreof Vineland. What this bookstore offers is tons and tons of books. The moment you walk in the front door you're confronted with the fact that they have a lot of books on a lot of subjects. In fact, at this location, the moment you walk into the door, you find a gigantic pile of all kinds of books on all kinds of subjects that they're offering for very discounted prices. I've often wondered what would happen if you wanted a book on the very bottom of the pile, and if you pulled it out, everything may come flying. But, that's just part of the fun of shopping at this bookstore, you never know what adventure you're going to encounter. In terms of selection, they have books on pretty much any subject you can think of. In some ways, it's a little hard to find certain things in this bookstore due to the massive quantity of books they have all set up in long aisles. In some cases, what I find kind of fun/curious is the fact that perhaps they will have a sign telling you that a certain subject of books in a particular aisle, but, when you look down that aisle, you can find none of the books on that subject. Mostly, I believe, that's just because they've sold out of that particular subject matter. But, it does make for an interesting quest, because there's been a few times when I've looked around the shop and found books on that subject in a completely different section. Thus, the chaos of this book shop adds to the overall quest for that great piece of reading material. This bookshop focuses a lot on fiction and poetry. They really have a large collection by various authors from across all genres and across the globe. So, if you're looking for that really unique piece of fiction and or poetry, this book shop most likely will have it. Overall, ever since its inception, Iliad has been a great place to find books. Yes, it is kind of a chaotic/fun sort of a mess. But, that adds to the overall uniqueness of this business. Fun place to shop!

They have a vast selection of books from fiction to non-fiction, bibles, covers of bibles, cookbooks, celebrity books, autobiography, trend magazines along with other magazines.. wall to wall all the way in the back. They have a big selection of children's books too. Prices vary depending what you buy. They used to sell CD's too. Have bought few in the past. They have a little corner when you walk in to your right that sell gifts, knick knack stuff that are practical, beautiful, and unique. I have purchased few in the past. Walked in yesterday and got a warm, friendly hello from couple of their employees. They were eager to help me and see what I was looking for. I needed a few cookbooks, couple of celebrity books that always captures my attention and I was lucky enough that they had what I was looking for. If they don't have it, they will order it for you. Store is BIG, clean, nicely organized alphabetically according to what you are looking for. All aisles are easy to navigate and it's pretty quiet in there which I love. They even have few armchairs to sit down and read a book. Great store..hands down!! Parking in the back shared with few other businesses. One gender neutral restroom and it is ALWAYS clean. Many gift options as well- LP's, Legos, journals, mugs, candles, puzzles and stuffed animals, though they are overpriced. The store is in what looks like a converted theater. A big plus is the huge parking lot in the back, for the whole block. Really appreciate having a large, clean brick and mortar bookstore to immerse yourself in.

I love a good used book store…read more Very clean, well-organized and curated bookstore with a heavy emphasis on academia, the arts, classical literature and great novels. I enjoyed going through the extensive social science collection (I'm an anthropologist) and the books devoted to art and fashion. I'm personally at a book ownership level that I seldom buy tangible copies of books unless they are art books or extraordinarily rare. I was tempted several times at this location, though I did leave empty handed. I will say that there are people who might find this book a little too highbrow for them. And that's ok. It's definitely a store aimed at folks who've been to graduate school. There's also little nook at the front of the shop devoted to children's literature with some very cool titles. Value is reasonable for a used book store. Most books were close to their original cost unless especially old or unusual. The clerk was a classic book store clerk. Putting that aside, I was absolutely shocked when I asked to be directed to the 'books in Spanish' or 'Latin American/Spanish Literature' section and the girl told me they don't have any "because they don't have an audience for that." I almost wanted to slap myself to make sure I'm still in Los Angeles (where I was born and raised) where the Spanish language is pretty much like a second first language. I quickly walked out filled with indignation. I'm just here to drive the message of inclusivity especially in a setting like this one. Inviting the owner to reconsider and see a bigger picture here. After all, books = knowledge = community = unity = peace....
