I came here a little before opening to take advantage of Insiders weekend. A small line formed by the time the store opened. Everything seemed to go smoothly. The store was clean and organized. There was an adequate number of staff too. SERVICE: Chris came out before the shop opened to do some last bits of window cleaning and to ask everyone what they were hoping to buy. He then returned to the store and gathered the LEGO sets at the back counter. This made it much simpler when the store opened. Chris was then also the one who ended up helping me once the store opened. I like how I wasn't rushed here and how service is generally very friendly and polite. PARKING Glendale Galleria's parking has always been poorly designed. It's not always an issue but when it's at its busiest, it's a nightmare. read more

Spent some time building and purchased some Lego sets at this awesome Lego store in Glendale Galleria. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. The shop was busy yet the store associates provided excellent customer service. They checked in on our group several times and asked if we needed help looking for the sets. The little ones built some cool Lego sets since there were certain open areas specifically for building and playing. Love how the set up is at Lego stores as it encourages children to continue and explore shaping their imagination. Which can even lead to your career. My siblings and I used to collect and play Legos when we were much younger. Actually my siblings and husband still collect them. One of my siblings is a nano engineer and he has a room in his house just dedicated to Legos. Today's purchase included Bluey, Lego City Set and Disney Moana set. Will be visiting this Lego store location again next week to check off my godchildren, nieces and nephews' Christmas list. read more

We've been searching for the new Disney 100 minifigures collection and was able to find the remaining the remaining 8 minifigures for our collection at a visit here today. After my husband requested, an employee brought out a fresh box for us to look through after we gave up after searching through two boxes during the first round. Went here for the Grogu Build and Keep event. Upon entering the store we see the manager talking to another person, we were going to inquire about where to line up. We overheard the conversation with the man and he told him where to go for the line and a line had formed even earlier. So we all headed over there. Happened to get there a min or so before the man talking to the manager so he was behind us. Now during our wait, the same man complained to TWO employees, saying he came there at 10, was not told about a line, nor was he informed of any tickets those who came at 9am got to jump ahead the line. Again, he stated twice, he was not told about the line, or tickets, and even addressed his conversation with the manager(who he did not know was the manager then) saying the guy made it seem like a massive line was here. Mind you both employees told him theres enough Grogus for where we are in line, so its not an issue. He will get one. Once the line started moving that man just left the line, walked up and proceeded to complain again, at the tables this was set up at, where we watch the employees assemble a box for him and allow him to take a kit and leave. My fiance then asks the manager why he was allowed to bypass us, when he clearly stated more than once he did not have a ticket. The manager then LIED to her, saying he gave the man a ticket when he was in the store earlier....Funny...as we were there for that entire conversation. He then claimed while the man had a ticket he didnt mind waiting in line but now had to be somewhere so used his ticket....uh...yeah no. So after my fiance returns to tell me this I went up to find out the managers name, I spoke to one employee this man complained to. She confirmed, he did not have a ticket and gave me the managers name. Noren. Thee manager then has the audacity to come to everyone and make a speech on "fairness" for others around. Did we get our Grogu? Yes. Thats not an issue. The fact that the manager straight lied to us, allowed a man to cut the entire line, and have the audacity to then try to bring up fairness to people? Kick rocks Noren. You could have just said hey this guy was an issue we chose to give him one to get rid of him and we woulda been fine with that answer, its honest. But to outright lie while your own employees confirm said lie? An still beg us for good reviews while we wait in your line. Yea, will not be returning to this location. Would rather wait in line for mega blocks than support that guys location. read more

The service at the Cashier checkout is miserable. I was waiting in line when I noticed one of the cashiers opened up their register and was taking customers in line. I was next in line when another individual in line cut ahead of me to go to that register that just opened up. The employee saw this but did nothing and instead stared at me almost in a guilty way. After he finished checking out that customer he told me to come up to pay and then he said " I actually need you to go to this other register" and he pointed in the direction to the right of him, but I guess something happened to the cashier on the register he was going to send me to, so he asked me to return.. it was a very irritable situation to have someone cut ahead of me and then the employee doing nothing, while also trying to send you somewhere else, miserable time. read more

I usually never leave reviews but this store and team was worth the shout out and I wanted to give them kudos for how they handled the baby yoda event. The line was massive but their communication was on point. The tall guy running the event, didn't catch his name, who I believed to be the manager possibly was so friendly and accommodating. Between him and the two other members hosting the event you can see they were working their hardest to get through the line. While I was in line I noticed some customers complaining to the tall guy running the event about the wait time and some other reasons which I didn't hear and it's sad to see grown adults have a fit over a free Lego event. I can just tell some of those guests were the type to feel entitled and complain because I've worked in retail before and I know how it feels. We are all waiting in line just like everyone else and we knew that would be the case but we were totally okay with it. My kids even personally approached the crew and thanked them and they were so kind to my little ones and till today my kids said they can't wait to go back to that store. You can tell the team cared about making sure everyone got a build and me my wife and my kids will definitely be back to this location again. They're always so helpful and kind. Checked it out for the first time recently. Greeter never greeted me but did so to everyone else after me. Thought it was by accident so I went in again a second time but so still no greet, but did greet everyone after me...both times I walked in solo with no group with her looking directly at me while I walked in. Quite sure there was some intention behind her motive whether it was my race but quite a shame that her bias was on display for a greeter role. Otherwise, a decent store. read more

This LEGO store seems just a bit larger than the one in Las Vegas. It had a little more options as far as the pre-packaged minifigurines. Of course, one of our kiddos is not down with pre-designed LEGO people, so she went to the little kiosk where you create 3 of your own. It seemed like we were in there forever when my husband said he was looking for a guitar for her. I was searching for something else since she can't quite reach the top cubby holes. So I just tried my luck with asking a nearby associate. Lo and behold, he had a few guitar in his little apron! This just goes to show that it never hurts to ask. August 1st was another frenzied day at the store. While everyone was asking for Star Wars, Atari and Harry Potter sets I was the only one, I repeat, the only one asking for the Halloween Cat & Mouse set. A small $12.99 set that the manager refused to sell me 2 sets. Even with the pleading of her associates she wouldn't budge. So now I have to come back another day and spend $10 on gas bec she refuses to make an exception to one customer. The Lego website has a two limit on this set so I don't understand why they can't do the same in store. I've never felt so angry in my life, this manager does not understand basic human kindness, I could've gone home happy instead I felt angry and disgusted that someone is so bound by her selfish "manager ego" that she refuses to make a small exception. I hope someday karma happens to her when she's pleading for someone to make a simple gesture of kindness and they refuse her as well. read more

I was secretly hoping my son didn't see this shop as we were walking through the mall, but this place is great. There's a wall dedicated to individual Lego pieces. It's like the M&M factory, but with Legos. I know it's pandemic season, but it's deeply satisfying to run your hand through a jar of legos. It's the antithesis of stepping on them and it's actually healing. I knew Legos were popular, but I didn't know they didn't like that! There's a Lego for everything. Batman Legos. Spiderman Legos. Holy crap! Tonight was my first time at the Glendale Galleria and I have found my soulmate. It's love at first sight and I dropped my panties. I am the baby mama of this store! My eyes caught sight of the store sign from across the mall and my boyfriend and I scurried like giggling children and both had orgasms upon stepping in here. I don't know what it is about LEGOs but I still love them. Maybe it is the memories of my childhood but something about it brings out the kid in me. Some people feel this way about candy stores, amusement parks, or ice cream but for me; it's LEGOs. One of the few LEGO stores in the state of California; this place is not only the highlight of the Glendale Galleria but of Glendale overall. It features a floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall selection of LEGO playsets and add-ons from Stars Wars to current features ("Prince of Persia" right now) to LEGO series like the "City" series and just varied playsets like zoo, farm, etc. Also featuring "build your own" people (you choose the various body parts), an entire wall of LEGO bins where you can choose whatever colored LEGO block or part you need, LEGO memorabilia such as key chains and posters, and play tables where you can play with some blocks; this store is too die for. You don't even have to be a LEGO fan, but I am telling you, you will smile. I discovered a new line which is obviously targeting adults featuring sophisticated buildings like Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water and the Space Needle in sleek, modern black boxes. They don't even look like LEGOs but more like Puzz 3-D sets (anyone remember those?) My boyfriend and I seriously wanted to buy one to assemble.. except they were a whooping $99! A bit steep. The highlight of the night was the computerized interactive LEGO screen which allows you to stand infront of the monitor (you are turned into a computer version of yourself) with a playset and it demonstrates the finished peice in your hands to make for a better shopping decision. It roates in real time to you can move it around in your hands. Hands down, this place is the best! Young or old, you will have fun. Never thought I would say this, but I am hooked on Legos again! I still remember building their Lego space shuttle, and the first Technic rally car. Then, Nintendo happened, followed by Super Nintendo, Playstation, Angry birds, etc... And then, out of nowhere, I went back to the Ferrari F40 creator series. This was a challenging but very enjoyable build (minor quibbles), and I decide, why not go for the mini cooper? This was an excellent build as well, however this one took two weeks longer to build because I had to wait for Lego to ship the right windshield (the ones in the box jutted out just a bit too much...) Though I was a bit surprised, I was happy they shipped out a replacement pair of windshields without any hassle. The only complaint I have is that this is a larger scale compared to the ferrari f40 - a bit too big. Also, the pinstriped prints are not perfectly horizontal, and so when the pieces are laid on, the lines don't exactly line up (off by 1 or 2mm)... But otherwise, another excellent build and I can't wait to put this in the office! Now let's see some more classics / supercars in the Lego Creator series! read more

This lego store is ranked #2 in the world for Customer Service only behind Liverpool England.. So with a ranking like that you should know that there isn't anything the staff will not do to help you with your Lego needs... For me it was ensuring my soon to be 11 year old son has his Lego Birthday Party!!!! It began by locating the Lego Birthday Box which contains invitations, Lego figurines, etc for 10 kids.. Next was the Lego Grab bags.... Man there has to be about 300 assorted Lego's priced at only $7.99 what a Hell of a Deal!!! But the kicker with the grab bags is they are limited to 5 per person because of grown men selling them on Ebay for much more.... Explaining to the cashier that my son has invited 10 friends and that his birthday is Christmas Eve so if I can't come through with the grab bags for his friends that he would be very sad... She said well let me see what I can do for you..... Living up to there Customer Service Standard the cashier called over the Manager and explained the situation... With a warming smile the Store Manager said she would give me pass on the restriction, just so my son could have a Great Lego Birthday!!! All I could say was Thanks!!!! I need LEGO pieces to construct a thank you sign for my best friend's wedding; where else do you go for 100+ pink LEGOs? The LEGO store, that's where! The salespeople here are SO friendly, and they let me tinker away in the back, even giving me suggestions on which pieces might work best. Omar rang me up, but I didn't catch the name of the other guy who first helped me out. He had dark hair, and was SO kind. (LEGO guys, if you catch this, can you thank him for me? He was darling!) Anyway, a small bucket is $7.99, and a large bucket is $14.99. Might as well fill it to the brim, 'cause hey, you're already paying for it! ;) It took me a couple of hours (!!!), but I was able to build all of the letters AND brainstorm what I could add to the sign. I mean, look, when I was a kid I always wanted to get LEGOs on my birthdays or Christmas. No matter how hard I asked Santa I was always left with stationery for school and nasty sweaters. Yeah, that's how I called them, "nasty sweaters". I know, LEGO was pretty expensive that time. Oh c'mon, it has always been expensive. And this store is not an exception. However, I love it. It is fancy and bright. There are always a lot of kids. They have some built models for demonstration purposes and it's pretty cool. There are also separate details you can buy. One of my favorites is LEGO Technic which suits people of different age. Apropos of this, most of the LEGOs are for the adults to build. I bought one and sent to my dad in Ukraine and he and 3 of my brothers had a hard time connecting all parts together. Their staff is always welcoming and willing to help. Drove from Arcadia to find they have decided to randomly close until January 7th. I have been calling since January 2nd and even today before leaving home today to place an order and have a curbside pick up but their number does not work. I could see the workers inside the store when I got their at 12pm, but they still never picked up their phone to answer if they accept orders or curbside pickup. It is very strange. The whole Glendale Galleria mall is open and many stores are working with people inside following the COVID safety guidelines, and this LEGO store just randomly decided to close, and not accept any phone calls or orders. Now I have to drive back home empty handed when I could see the set I wanted in the store but on the LEGO website is out of stock. read more

Love this store! I recently purchased a Star Wars Millennium Falcon set that I've wanted to get for a friend for 2 years now but has sold out in previous years. I made this purchase long before the holiday season to ensure I secured it. I also joined the Lego VIP program then which gives you cash to use in the store based on points earned. I love it! Most recently we picked up several holiday gifts for small children and even a piggy bank for myself that is so cute! I loved putting it together with my boyfriend. We liked it so much we went back to purchase another to give as a gift. This is a great store for purchasing fun gifts to put together. I'd highly recommend shopping here. My son loves it here and would give it 5 stars for sure... I love the idea of it, and love that he loves it, but am not a fan of the customer service (or lack thereof). We have been to this particular location more than a handful of times (it is a must stop pre or post Din Tai Fung for us), and will continue to stop in for my son. I know that there are adults who love all things lego, but for the most part, would still classify this as a kid's toy store. As such, I would expect their customer service to be geared toward children. Specifically, smile or at least say hello to the kids as they walk in. Every single time we have come in, we are pretty much ignored. We have even had our son "check out", or at least start the process, and still nothing! I do not expect every person to think my son is cute, but at least have the decency to put on a fake smile and interact with him for a few seconds. I could maybe understand a robotic experience if they were busy/crowded, but there has literally never been more than one person in front, or behind us in line. Apparently, smiling is frowned upon (literally) at this Lego store. Cranky cashiers aside, this store is great for Lego lovers. They are well stocked and have a nice layout, making things easy to find on your own. They have a section in the middle of the store where you can create your own mini figures. For $10.00, you could create and package your own 3 pack of mini figures (5 pieces per figure). This is an awesome feature and currently my son's favorite thing to do/purchase. They also have a full wall of loose Lego pieces, which seems to be pretty standard for Lego stores. Overall, this is a great place for Lego lovers, but not for fans of customer service. The staff at the other Lego Stores I have been to, and especially Lego Land itself, are ten times more friendly than the staff here. The 3 star rating I gave them was the average of the store itself (5 stars), and the customer service (1). I would only recommend this location if you are in the area, and really, really love Legos. read more

My son has always loved his LEGOs, especially his "Lego guys". In fact, this location was the scene of the crime when my son was about 2 and a half, and he stole a "guy" from this Lego store. He put it in his pocket. I didn't know about it until we were driving home, and he showed me, quite happily, his "guy". Oh. Hmm? What?! So I drove him back to the store and made him fess up. Those were the days of headless Lego men. His then daycare removed the heads of these poor little Lego men, as they were more concerned about the kids swallowing those little yellow plastic heads. I had teams of headless Lego "guys" in my house, and it was becoming a bit like "Dawn of the Legomen". Now, 7 years later, he still LOVES Legos, Star Wars in particular, and "Lego guys". (He didn't like the face on Count Dooku, however). You can make you own "Mini" and "Pick a Brick" too. This store is GREAT; and we will always love our Lego guys. Heads on. read more
