For service, as you walk in there are employees greeting and helping customers. Some of the employees follow around and keep asking questions. It might be annoying to some people, I personally don't mind it. The prices for the furniture in this store are compatible with the other stores. What a disaster my experience with ASHLEY has been, I mean it. For the first time after years of shopping in Ethan Allen and Fedde's in Pasadena , I decided to buy a couple of twin size sleigh beds and mattresses from ASHLEY. First they told me - just the day before delivery - that they ran out of the mattresses that we purchased and paid for and postponed the delivery day from 09/04/26 to 09/08/26! I had already cleared all the furniture from the room . So I had to reassemble our old bed frame back in the bedroom so that we have a bed to sleep on. Then they called me and said frames will be delivered on the original delivery day of 09/04/26. The morning of Friday 09/04/26, the truck comes in and the driver says we have the mattresses in the truck too! I said that they told me the mattresses were on back order so I have returned our old bed back in the room! They said don't worry you have paid for a "White-Glove" delivery and we come back for assembling the furniture! They left the frames and mattresses in my garage. We opened one box , and the furniture is damaged.... We are sleeping on the floor on sponge for a few nights. After spending the entire Friday (09/04/26) speaking with 7 of their Customer Service staff in Philippines, three people in US , and making a trip to their store in Burbank, they are saying there is NOTHING we can do for you until Wednesday after Labor Day! My son and I are in desperate need to purchase a nice, off white love seat and sofa since our furniture is almost taking it's last breath. It's not that bad, but if we don't buy something soon, it will get worse. I have always liked bright color furniture to go with my living room space. I know it get's dirty fast, but it always looks nice, classy & chic. We were there in the evening of the 16th of January and browsing the store trying to see what we could have founded and nothing really caught our eye that was suitable and affordable for my apartment and our budget. Everything was kind of expensive and we didn't even get to the point to discuss financing the furniture. Few employees approached us to see if we needed any help; but, since the decision was still up in the air, we walked out and trying to see what other stores and options we have. Store was clean, well organized and has a full parking space NOT shared with other businesses. They are kind enough to even let other people park at their parking lot. The last mattress I bought was at Sit N Sleep in Glendale, California in 2012. The mattress I bought was the Serta icomfort memory foam mattress. It lasted me until this year, which is almost exactly 14 years. This is the longest I've ever had for a mattress. I stopped by Sit N Sleep in Glendale for the July 4th sale, and they no longer carry the Serta icomfort mattress. I googled online for sales for the Serta icomfort mattress, and Ashley furniture was the cheapest for the 4th of July sale. I ordered the mattress with the white glove delivery and removal of my old mattress. I not only ordered the mattress, but also the base and a new bed frame. What Ashley doesn't tell you, they don't assemble the bed frame for you when they deliver and it is sent before the mattress. Plus, they don't tell you they won't offer to take away the old bed frame when they deliver the new mattress. Depending on where you live, you may have to pay someone to pick up and take away your old bed frame. Some places quoted me $200 for the pick up. Sit N Sleep not only assembles the new bed frame with the mattress delivery, but they take away everything from your old bed, which includes the bed frame. Honestly, I regret making a purchase at Ashley furniture. Looking back, I should've bought a different brand of memory foam mattress at Sit N Sleep. read more

I bought a dresser a mirror and nightstand today, because of Labor Day they said I got 25% discount but the saleswoman said it doesn't show in my receipt only in her tablet but I did get the discount which I'll go back tomorrow to confirm the price and see if I got the discount, once I got home I noticed a charge for $199.99 for a protection plan which by the way she never offered and obviously I didn't ask for it, so I already call to take that out they said the did already, very disappointed with this place I tried to call the store no response just a voicemail read more

Horrible products, horrible customer service, horrible after-sales support, and outright deception. I purchased a sofa from Ashley Furniture in March 2025 for over $4,000, expecting basic quality and honesty. Instead, I got a defective product and a company that refuses to stand behind what it sells. In less than a year, with a total usage of maybe 30 hours, the cushions have severely sunk. My wife and I are almost never at home, so this couch has seen virtually no use. There is absolutely no justification for this kind of failure. To make matters worse, I was sold an "extended warranty" with clear assurances that it would cover everything, including cushion issues. That turned out to be completely false. After two so-called "expert" inspections and more than six phone calls totaling hours of my time, they are now denying coverage and backtracking on what was promised. This is not just poor quality, it is blatant misrepresentation. I have two witnesses who were present when I was told the warranty would cover cushion failure, especially this early on. Now they are pretending otherwise. I will be taking this matter to small claims court. Avoid this company at all costs. I will never buy from them again and will continue sharing this experience so others do not fall into the same trap. read more

Updated: There was an issue with the scheduled delivery date, which was initially set for January 7, 2026, and then changed to January 10, 2026. I did not receive any calls, emails, or automated emails from the customer service team to confirm the delivery schedule. I had to contact customer service, where the associate representative repeatedly repeated the cancellation without providing an explanation. I made a second call to the store location to request to speak to a manager. The individual who answered the phone refused to transfer me to a manager. I waited a considerable amount of time until a store manager spoke with me. Mr. Emat explained that Ashley was backordered, which prevented the delivery of the furniture as scheduled on January 7 or January 110. The best available delivery date was January 14. After speaking with Mr. Emat, a chatbot automated email was sent to confirm the delivery on January 14. It was more than inconvenient to have to call to find out when the furniture was scheduled to be delivered. I don't live in Oceanside, plus my property manager was on vacation. A lot of logistics to arrange. Ashley Management: I highly recommend improving communication if the delivery schedule is canceled. Customers should be notified immediately rather than waiting until they are uncertain about the delivery. Proactive communication and better customer service are essential. The delivery driver, Juan Miguel, was punctual and professional. Unfortunately, there is no way to provide a review. They deserved five-star review to third-party contractors. read more

We recently purchased a bed set from the Burbank Ashley Furniture store. The sales representative was wonderful -- very helpful, patient, and made the whole buying process smooth and pleasant. However, the delivery and installation experience was extremely disappointing. It seems like Ashley hires a third-party company that's either overworked or underpaid, because the team that showed up was unprofessional from the start. They entered without even greeting us or confirming the delivery name. When they finished, one of the installers came over, stuck his phone in my face for a signature without asking me to inspect the furniture first. When I checked, I found two damaged drawers and a crack on the side of the bed. It's really upsetting to have such a great sales experience end with such poor service and damaged furniture. Damaged wall and gate driver!!!! I am extremely disappointed with Ashley's Store and the complete lack of accountability in handling a serious issue. The third party drivers they hired to deliver our couch set damaged our driveway gate and wall and then fled the scene in a hit and run. This story lies about lead times, continually reschedules delivery times, and blatantly misleads customers. I bought two couches from this store after needing new seating for medical reasons after a spine surgery. The store promised me that I would receive my products by a certain date about four weeks later (which was later that I would have liked, but I agreed, provided it would not be further delayed). The day before that date (after I had already discarded my old couches), they called me to reschedule it for four days later. The day before the re-schedule date, they call again to cancel the delivery. Mind you, the sales associate PROMISED me that it wouldn't be delayed, and that delays never happen. It has since been rescheduled twice, and no one knows when I will get my products. Multiple people within various departments have blatantly lied about lead times and delivery schedule. Each delivery resulted in a couch that arrived visibly dirty. By the third attempt, the delivery crew entered my home, left a significant mess behind, did not wait for a signature, and departed without properly addressing the condition of the furniture. When I contacted the store to resolve the matter, I was directed to a manager named Saba. Regrettably, the interaction was equally disappointing. I was informed that no compensation could be offered, no responsibility was taken for the repeated issues, and when I mentioned escalating the matter to corporate for further assistance, I was met with dismissiveness and told, "there's nothing we can do." The lack of accountability and professionalism was extremely concerning, particularly from someone in a leadership role. Thankfully, after escalating the matter to corporate customer care, the situation was ultimately resolved. The corporate team offered a fair compensation, and arranged for the couch to be properly cleaned. I purchased a mattress and a couch and was offered 0% financing for 12 months, but what was not disclosed at the time of purchase was that the financing through Concora Credit, charges a $4.99 monthly service fee as long as you have a balance of $9.99 or higher. This fee was never mentioned verbally or clearly explained during the sales process. While they advertise 0% interest, the monthly service fee makes it misleading and not truly "no cost" financing. If you have specific delivery date expectations, do NOT order from them. I ordered my sofas before Black Friday and was very clear about my required delivery date. I was told my sofas would be delivered on December 17, and I have now just found out the delivery has been delayed until December 26. Christmas is approaching, and I am expecting my family. My living room will not be ready for the holidays due to this delay. I need to be contacted by a manager as soon as possible. Terrible Customer Service & Warranty Runaround I purchased my furniture from Ashley's with the Regard extended warranty, which the sales rep assured me would cover repairs or replacement if the item could not be fixed. Unfortunately, when my furniture developed an issue, the technician himself noted in his report that it could not be repaired or matched. Per the Regard pamphlet and the promise made at purchase, I should have received a replacement. Instead, I've been sent in circles between Ashley's and Regard, with no resolution and no accountability. Even after multiple calls and emails, Ashley's has failed to honor the warranty or provide the replacement/refund I'm entitled to. This is unacceptable. I paid extra for a warranty that has turned out to be useless. If you are considering purchasing furniture here, beware of the extended warranty -- it is not being honored. On to the next furniture store in search for my mother's nice accent chair to enjoy while watching tv. I have never stepped into an Ashley HomeStore before and especially for this location, I have never been to this area since it was a Circuit City. (dated myself there) As I entered the building there was a Salesman that greeted me. I asked to look for accent chairs for my elderly mother and gave him specific description that I was looking for. The salesman showed me several designs and some did meet the criteria. I was happy with one model and it was even on sale. Ashley did have a possible purchase. What I didn't like was how the salesman pushed for the sale. After I had asked how long does the sale run for, he didn't know. His response was very iffy as he said "im not sure, maybe tomorrow the price may change". I didn't like that there was no solid answer. I also asked if the model of the chair I liked came in different colors. The salesman couldn't really answer that question as well as he went online to show me the same item, but it was the same color. Overall I did like the chair, the salesman wasn't as helpful with the questions I had asked. I couldn't stand to see the TV ads anymore about how amazing Ashley stores are.... I'm an Eaton fire evacuee and in May was told that all my soft goods furniture could not be re-used because of smoke and soot. So I went to Ashley to look at complete bedroom sets. A young lady approached and offered to help me thru the choices. It became clear that she wanted me to make a decision on the spot -- I did unfortunately tell her that my budget was not a problem because of insurance reimbursement and that I wanted a very nice set to welcome me back home after four months of evacuation and remediation. She lost interest when I would not make a buying decision on the spot. She told me that I could walk around on my own and after getting my number that she would follow up with me the next day to also let me know of any special deals being offered to fire survivors. It has now been almost two months -- and I have not heard from her yet. And so, as a company Ashley did not make a great impression and will not see my business or recommendation. I was looking for a sectional sofa for our sitting area and came across this sectional at Ashley furniture. The size is good for our space and the price was too until I realized it's actually more than what it says on the sign that was placed by the sofa. So the floor sample is actually bigger than the pictured one which I didn't pay attention to. The salesman told be that the floor sample has one extra chair in it and I can add as many as I want. So I ended up paying over $2000 instead of $1500 with that one extra chair. And they charge $275 or $265 for delivery I don't remember exactly ... that is a high fee for delivery since living spaces charges $99.00 for delivery. The service at the store was good, the sales person was friendly and approachable. He wasn't pushy and gave us a short history of Ashely furniture such as where the products are made at and so on. Furthermore, my attempts to resolve this issue were met with unprofessional and inadequate customer service. My emails and messages went unanswered, and the store manager, who had limited English communication skills, made no effort to provide a solution or address my concerns. In my view, the store's conduct constitutes: 1. Failure to disclose material terms prior to sale, which may amount to deceptive trade practice. 2. Negligent customer service, reflecting a disregard for consumer rights and satisfaction. I am requesting that the appropriate consumer protection body investigate this matter and consider whether the store's policies and sales practices violate applicable consumer protection laws. My family has shopped here multiple times a year, but that ends now. Earlier this month, l purchased a bed in-store and was very clear about what I needed. They delivered and assembled it while I wasn't home, and when I returned, my "brand-new" bed was already damaged--cracks, missing color, and visible defects. On top of that, they damaged my personal belongings during delivery. They also delivered the WRONG item. I have a disc injury and sciatica, yet I was forced to drive to the store twice just to beg for help because their customer service is absolutely nonexistent. No accountability, no urgency, no care. To make matters worse, the salesperson who sold me the bed, Diana Cabrales, saw me walk into the store on both occasions and literally walked to the back to avoid me. Completely unprofessional, embarrassing, and unacceptable. After over a month of chasing them down, I am STILL getting the runaround with no resolution. The Ashley store in Burbank does not honor their terms and conditions on their warranty and or sales receipts of any kind. I wanted to really like this store because they had a wonderful selection of furniture and pricing was about the same or better than online , but when they sent me a separate drop shipment of sheet set, It was the wrong order that I ordered and the manager of the store and other sales people would not honor my return even though on the back of the terms and conditions it clearly states that they will return the product within 72 hour period if it was not opened which it was not opened and I was within the time period. So after spending over $17,000 in merchandise, I really wanted to like this store. I did buy a nice mattress and frame with adjustable base, but when it comes to customer service, they are really lacking. UPDATE 8-28-2024: I also ordered a split-king mattress sheets which took 4 weeks to be delivered and upon delivery noticed it was knitted not woven. I went to the store to exchange the unopened box and was told that they would exchange and all sales are final unless damaged and also because I purchased the item at the store (even though they shipped it to me 4 weeks later) and not online they would not exchange. RUDE! So I then contacted the Tempur-Pedic Flagship store where they did sell me the sheets I wanted and honored a discount. They could not exchange as packaging was different. I asked and I was informed I did not need to buy the added warranty on the base and mattress from Ashley furniture because Tempur-Pedic honors any purchase of their product already! I purchased a couch for our condo that turned out to be too large for the space, and I wasn't aware the back pillows were permanent. This review rating is purely based on the sketchy sales tactics of this store. Long story short, Basil helped us and was really trying to get us to buy a 4 piece sofa we were eyeing that day. He even brought out "a manager" to get us a good price. I can't remember the managers name now. Stay away from Basil if he approaches you. I was good with the price and sofa, but they told us that if we had issues like if our love seat needed to change sides, we can always change it within 72 hours of delivery. I wanted to go home to measure, but he kept insisting that this was their policy. I took his word and the fact that Ashley was a huge retail brand and I guess it's my fault for not looking at the fine print because now that I need my sides changed, Ashley is telling me they cannot do anything about this. This is extremely frustrating for a customer and it seems like they were saying anything they can to make the sale that day.
