Delivery team is beyond unprofessional. Told me that they came and waited for 15 mins for me to come down but I never knew they were here. This review rating is purely based on the sketchy sales tactics of this store. Long story short, Basil helped us and was really trying to get us to buy a 4 piece sofa we were eyeing that day. He even brought out "a manager" to get us a good price. I can't remember the managers name now. Stay away from Basil if he approaches you. I was good with the price and sofa, but they told us that if we had issues like if our love seat needed to change sides, we can always change it within 72 hours of delivery. I wanted to go home to measure, but he kept insisting that this was their policy. I took his word and the fact that Ashley was a huge retail brand and I guess it's my fault for not looking at the fine print because now that I need my sides changed, Ashley is telling me they cannot do anything about this. This is extremely frustrating for a customer and it seems like they were saying anything they can to make the sale that day. The manager even said they would only give me the price that day and pressured me to not go home to measure the dimensions. Now I am stuck with a couch that does not fit correctly in my house. Great customer service from Rashan. He was friendly and efficient. However, when it comes for recieving the actual product, the delivery team tried to drop off my $900 couch with a broken arm rest and a huge stain. They had to be chased down so that they could take it back. When I reached out to customer service about this, I was told "unexpected delays" are covered in the contract I signed. And they got upset at me because I didn't want to buy Wyatt they were offering me and feel that they treat me differently after I didn't want to get what they were offering me because I didn't like it. After that they told me that I can just go to pick up my bed with the phone number and when I got there they told me no and they refused to give me that bed. Met as we walked into door by sales rep. Told him what we wanted (loveseat recliner) and then he in turn, passed us off to a second sales rep. We were then passes off to a THIRD sales rep. That sales rep, who showed us nothing about the product but finally took our order. We had to figure the product out ourselves. The sales rep specifically told us that they would deliver the loveseat, assemble it and then take the box away. When the delivery guys arrived, they said they were just to drop the box off and we were to do all of the assembly and get rid of the box. In summation, that's the last business we will do with Ashley. Much rather go to Bob's Furniture or Living Spaces. We've used both and they are much friendlier, much more professional and there was NO confusion over delivery. read more

I wish I could leave ZERO stars. This place sold me and my family JUNK. Yes, I made the purchase and for that I take full responsibility. However, everything looked so good in the store. But after only 4-5 months, veneer began to come off our dining set table, screws fell out of the seat cushions and a sofa sleeper severely began sagging in the middle. SADLY we purchased the extended warranty by GBS for $179 dollars, which resulted in nothing but futile attempts to repair our furniture. Despite repeated calls, we were given the runaround and always denied, actually, ignored. To top it all off, I recently mailed a letter along with photos of our defective dining set to the CEO of Ashley, Todd Wanek, and was punted to "escalations," who denied me any help. Though our measly one year warranty was expired, our extended coverage remains active. Ashley could have used their clout to at least intervene with GBS. I give them a solid 3 stars. Our sales rep Emma was super helpful with our initial purchase. We just got a new apartment, but didn't have any measurements of our space yet. In good faith, we placed our furniture order anyway. We were told that we could return the furniture for any reason and expressed our concern about not having measurements yet. We were ensured that there would be no problem in returning it. My review is mostly based on the delivery portion, not the store or sales rep. Long story short: the furniture was too big/bulky in our living room. It was a 30 minute long conversation with the delivery men and us going back & forth on whether or not to return it! One of the delivery drivers casually mentioned, "Oh, I saw in the notes that you rejected a piece of furniture already." I had "returned" a piece of furniture prior to its delivery, because once we moved in, my husband and I knew our entire order was not going to fit and we were right. The driver's comment really rubbed us the wrong way, almost as if implying that we were "bad" customers. Our big mistake was placing our order without measurements, but we didn't have access to our apartment until our actual move-in date and we wanted the furniture in our home ASAP. Man, were we questioned to no end! First, questioned for 30 minutes by the delivery drivers who were literally there witnessing why we couldn't keep the furniture. We all attempted to rearrange it a number of ways, and it just didn't work. So we had them send it back. Then, receiving a call from Ashley Furniture an hour after the delivery with more questioning as to why we rejected the delivery. Side note: I don't like how they call it "rejected." We didn't "reject" anything; it simply didn't fit in our space. They need to consider rewording/changing that to "returned" because "rejected" sounds so harsh and is triggering, quite frankly. Lastly, we had to return in-person to this store in order to do what's called a "Reselection." Emma helped us through this step, and we came ready with a tape measure since we now actually had measurements to our living room. We were ready to check out with the new order when another sales rep (or manager, not sure) started the questioning yet again about the "rejection" and attempted to convince us to keep it! At this point, I called on my husband to step in and he helped me be firm on our new purchase. I'm so thankful he was there because I was about to lose my patience! No customer should have to go through THIS much unnecessary questioning. Though the purchasing portion was pleasant, the Return/Reselection portion was NOT fun at all and a total pain! I even requested that they send a different set of delivery men to our place with the new order. I did not want to have the same experience again. Luckily for us, the new order arrived on time as promised and they were able to set it up and clean up in about 15 minutes! It was quick. We absolutely LOVE our new couch and can't wait to host friends & family in our new place. Lesson learned: In the future, we won't ever order furniture unless we have the measurements. Even if it means waiting until AFTER moving in, we'll just have to wait to avoid this mess. Never again, and lesson learned for sure! read more

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my LIFE. I have worked in Customer Service my entire adult life, and I cannot BELIEVE what I have experienced from this company. They delivered my sectional and ottoman in May. The ottoman arrived misshapen. I, not wanting to be an annoying customer, thought maybe it had been wrapped too tightly in the delivery process, and decided to wait a few days to see if it evened out. This was my biggest mistake, after shopping here. I called and was told that a technician would have to come out to see if it could be repaired. I told them that being repaired is not the issue, I paid for a brand new ottoman and it came to me misshapen. They said this was their "process", and the technician will say if it needs to be replaced. Took two weeks for a tech to come. Technician came out, and in the process of looking at my ottoman, found that the delivery guys had done a poor job in attaching the feet to the ottoman. He re-screwed every screw on every foot, making new holes. And with the ottoman flipped over, I noticed that the cover was also ripped underneath. I would not have noticed because I had no reason to flip it over before this. I mentioned that to the tech as well. The tech told me that he could repair the ottoman by replacing the cushions, etc. I asked him why I shouldn't just get a brand new ottoman, LIKE I PAID FOR, instead of getting replacement parts on a BRAND NEW OTTOMAN. He then told me that Ashley doesn't exchange anything and admitted that their customer service is horrible. Again, a week has passed since Ashley Home Furnishing tried to overcharge me $1,200. I call the store, as I have t received my refund of $660 for the payment of sales tax and delivery fees. The person claiming to be the manager, Josh, says they can refund the money to my card. I go into the store, contacting Josh. He asked for my debit card to refund the money. He applies the credit. After a phone call to my credit union and dealing with another person who Josh says is the manager, I find out it takes 3-5 business days for their card company to refund my money. Now it will Be another week before I see the return on my money. I contacted Weights and Measurements last Thursday. They did their first undercover operation, two days ago (Monday). Unfortunately the store had changed all the posted sticker prices and they matched up to the prices they were being charged. Apparently us consumer really have no rights and no agency out there to help us when companies cheat the customers. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY HOME FURNISHING. By far the worst experience not only purchasing a product and the product itself...couch didn't last 9 months before falling apart...but the way this company and its affiliates decide to treat people is nothing short of HORRIBLE. We purchased a couch from their "premium line" back in 2021 within the first couple months horrible feathering and stain accumulation were just the beginning. (Water would leave a stain). We had purchased the BS protection plan and asked for one couch cushion to be replaced and they gladly did it (this was month 2) we asked for one again 3 months later and at this point this "premium couch" had been discontinued. Protection plan said we can't be helped and every person to talk to us on the phone pretty much said...nothing we could do and would get hung up on. Fast forward to months of back and forth to finally getting our money back and as we contact store to get our refund they say they don't do that. SERVICE - Salesperson Souhaila provides one with excellent customer service. She was genuinely nice and helpful when I made the purchase of two lamps. What impressed me was that she provided me her cell number and continued to help me when the product I purchased had issues; even on the day she was off. Also, her manager, Kordian, was superb. I had to return one of the lamps because it was defective. I went to customer service and requested if I could simply switch with a similar lamp that was on display at the store. I was met with red tape on how this was not possible. I saw Kordian (the sales manager) and asked him directly. He had no problem with my request and made it happen. Quality of Product - I paid a decent amount of money for two lamps. They look nice but are cheaply made. One of them had several defective parts (see attached photos). Even the screw came off from the lamp socket. Does Ashley's conduct quality control? This makes me hesitant to buy more furniture from this store. read more

My wife and I tried buying an area rug, couch and love seat. Went back to the location twice, second time to purchase products. We were financing the items and approved. When I looked at the amount, it was nearly $1600 over the sticker prices. One of the people there said the they would discount the purchase but it was still higher than the sticker prices, which I showed them. They said it was an oversight and prices had changed. (the quality of the sofa is very poor (it looked good at the store), so I advise going to a store that doesn't give you a hard time giving you a refund/exchange) I'm so very unhappy with the sofa I purchased here at Ashley. So we went into the store and they opened a case for technician to come out. Technician came out and he said it is definitely sinking and there is no way he can fix it for it to last. I asked him to request a refund, because I don't trust the quality and don't want to keep calling Ashely etc. He said ok and his manager should call me on the same day and if not tomorrow the latest. I haven't received a call back, so I called and spoke to an employee and she said on the notes, the technician noted there is no defect. I'm so grieved he lied. I don't know how to file a complaint. I called 800-240-3440, but it only reached the customer care service team and he said there is no way I can speak to the management. I called 4 times trying to speak with a manager, yet there is no way to get a hold of them. I tried going on Ashely website to file a complaint but there is no contact number/email to do so. I'm so disappointed. It's unfortunate that refund or exchange is not possible even if there is a defect within a couple months of use. *Edit: I also asked Ashley customer service representatives and a worker at Burbank if there is an email where I can file a complaint and they all said they don't have one. Placed my order on august 15 (burbank,ca) of a dining room table, rv console, couch set, bed frame and 5 drawer chest. Dining room table, console, bed frame and chest was delivered on sept 1. To my new home which was being painted and floors were being put in so none of the boxes were opened until the 10th. Tv console was fine. Dining room table is missing hardware. Bed is missing hardware and hAlf the bed and the chest is cracked down the side and bottom. When I called AF, they said they'd have to have a tech come to confirm what was going on with the furniture which isn't happening until 10/7. But my dining room table hardware is to be delivered 9/25 and my couches in 9/28. Now, they don't have a date for delivery and the hardware is back ordered. Seriously what the??????. One year and one month after the purchase of our couches they are literally falling apart at the seams for no reason. Little tiny staples just popping out (we have a young baby so this is extremely dangerous as well) and the fabric is coming apart. Regaurd said they can't do anything, that it isn't covered. From the moment I walked in, it felt like a car dealership. I just wanted to browse couches but was immediately greeted by a salesman (ok) who then followed me around at a distance (annoying). I found what I liked but most things seemed low quality, all of the back cushions were sewn into the couch. When I said I might come back I was given the car dealer treatment of "we have a special you won't be able to get tomorrow" and "this is my manger" I actually burst out laughing because it was so predictable in a high pressures sale. I'd rather be left alone and have people available if I have a question and actually feel like I can find a product I want than be forced into one I don't like so that sales person can make their quota. It would seem their business has an unhealthy corporate environment where sales people are pitted against each other and a sale is all that matters. I left so annoyed and just never wanting to return. I ended up going to Bobs Furniture across the way and it was a great experience. A sales person greeted me, told me how the pricing works and said if I had any questions to let them know. People seemed happier working there and weren't all hovering by the front door.
