From our initial consultation - to our many design sessions and all the way through construction until the last drop of paint was applied - she was professional - responsive and right there every step of the way. She took the time to listen and really understand our vision our needs and our lifestyle before recommending any ideas. Once she knew exactly what we had in mind she took our outdated and cramped kitchen and family room area and turned it into an open - modern and true gathering space. From the cabinets to counters to colors to flooring to lighting - Deborah nailed every single detail. The visuals she created gave us exactly what we needed to help make our final decisions and really get a feel for the end design of entire space. She accounted for every square inch and her attention to detail was amazing. If you're looking for design expertise - vision and dedication - we highly recommend Deborah. Greg and Cathy

Since I already had my stuff in boxes and under plastic, I decided I would make some other minor upgrades to spruce-up my home. I contacted Marisa Reed because years ago she chose the paint colors of my massage therapy studio room, and the colors were a perfect fit for the room. It's surprising how color can make a difference. Anyway back to my home, pretty much all my furniture was in the same place as I moved in in 2001. The color of the walls were a couple different hues of beige. My light fixtures were probably the original light fixtures from the 70s when my condo was built. Now thanks to Marisa my home has color and no more beige! We decided on 3 colors, one for each level, and white trim. I have new light fixtures (pretty jazzy looking I might add, all chosen by Marisa) and new blinds too. Marisa also helped me with furniture placement too and in accordance with feng shui principals. With the additions from the QHP and Marisa Reed's interior design, my home feels very grounded and peaceful. I love staying home and enjoying how it feels - like a new home. Thank you, Marisa! - Michele Ruppert, US Navy (retired), Massage-Bodywork Practitioner

Tiffany from Classy Closets is amazing and a joy to work with. I appreciate her design style, professionalism and attention to detail. We are thrilled with the full build out of 4 closets, a new linen closet and garage set up. Everything works great and looks great! Tiffany truly went the extra mile by personally delivering 6 (heavy) rolling racks for our clothing. Classy Closets also fast tracked our installation so we could finally unpack and begin living box free! Jill

Hey Yelpers! If…read moreyou're looking to remodel your closet and it's just time to get some extra space with out all the extra costs? You've found a great company to get a quote from. Their prices just can't be beat and they have an amazing crew, designer who works with you and listens! Highly recommend Classy Closets. We had the amazing pleasure working with Melissa the designer. She knows her stuff and is so accurate with her measurements and recommendations. She took our simple traditional closet and turned it into the perfect accommodating for our needs. The options are great, there's a low, medium and if you want to go all out, you can get everything! They are affordable!! Our closet was under $2000. Others we've quoted were $5,000 and up. Now before you think the price matches the product.... can safely day...it does not. The materials they use are ultra super heavy duty closet system. Not like ikea, home depot or Lowes, it's even better than that. Without all the extra costs! What more could you ask for? The only set back we had, which in the end worked out perfectly because I learned a new skill. They do have demolition in the budget that is part of the cost, however they only do very light/little patching and touch up paint if provided by the client. What the plus is to this is you can do the work demo yourself and have the confidence that its a fresh new closet....or they are awesome enough to have a contractor come in to help for an additional affordable costs. Some folks have easier jobs than others...I just knew ours needed more work than just a simple demo with patch holes. The install was flawless (of course thanks to my amazing drywall skills) and the crew were respectful, clean and cleaned everything up. Payments are broken up into sections, super convenient and easy. We are continuing to work with this company for our other closets and our Garage. Highly recommend! A++ Best luck Yelpers!! Cheers

1st Stage Property Transformation - Living Room Home Staging in Newport Beach, Orange County

    1st Stage Property Transformation

I have hired 1st Stage for multiple properties over the years. In the past, they generally did…read moregreat work and I was impressed with their staging style, professionalism, availability, and pricing. That said, my most recent experience was disappointing. I had them stage a modern townhouse in Costa Mesa near the beach. Unfortunately, the staging style they chose did not match the aesthetic of the property at all. I am not a designer, so I typically trust their vision and let them take the lead. This time, I reached out to their team and simply asked if we could swap out a few items to make the space feel more modern or beachy. I was told I would need to pay a restocking fee. That response was frustrating. I had referred them many jobs and clients in the past, and while the fee itself was not a large amount, it felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. They did eventually waive the fee, which I appreciated, but the situation already felt mishandled. Fast forward a bit. The property did not sell, and I requested that it be de-staged. Their team came out a few days later and removed the furniture. A few months after that, they emailed both me and my client, who was the actual party to the staging contract, claiming there was a prorated balance due for a few extra days the furniture remained in the home. The amount was under $400. The contract was between my client and 1st Stage, not me, so I was confused as to why I was included. Shortly after, Mark Sutton emailed me directly asking if I could take care of the payment by the next day. I found that extremely unprofessional. Agents are the ones who bring them business, and asking me to personally pay an invoice that had nothing to do with me showed a real lack of business judgment. I expressed my disappointment with their customer service, and the only response I received was a payment link. If you are looking for a stager who truly feels like a partner and values long-term relationships, I would think twice before using this company. In my experience, once an issue arises, you are treated like just another number, and preserving relationships does not seem to be a priority.

Coast To Coast Restoration - Remodel completed 2023

    Coast To Coast Restoration

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.
