We installed the Opulux Grandeur laminate and love how it looks. Here's to hoping it holds up as well as the manufacturer says it will!

First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! We highly recommend this team for high quality products, professional treatment and advice, and an impressive installation experience.

From the start, Alex was extremely responsive with answering questions and getting me setup with an appointment. From there, Hass came to my office to meet with me, evaluate the space, and brought some samples and gave me an honest opinion and feedback on the choices and how they might fit my space. Being in a time rush, they were able to get in within a week to demo, level, and lay the flooring in a very time-efficient manner. I even went by while they were working to check a couple times, and was very happy with the guys who were there. Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

Most of the work looks good, but the way things were handled after the fact left us feeling like we weren't valued once the payment cleared. Here are a few things that set them apart from other contractors I interviewed: 1) responsive but not pushy. Some stone fabricators in San diego are incredibly pushy. 2) professional- in communication and in the way they do their operations. 3) high tech machinery and a clean cutting room. They let me see the cut template before cutting. 4) high attention to detail. 5) a proper itemized contract. Some contractors would just send me a text message with rates. That's not the way I want to do business, especially when thousands of dollars are being exchanged. The way they did quotes and contracts is what made me pull the trigger. They were mid point on price but for the service and quality you got, i felt it was a great value. I also love giving my money to a nice, hard working family. Lorie did a simply amazing transforming to my 1966 house to a home that looks brand new. The kitchen was remodeling with so much class and the best design choices with beautiful appliances. The fireplace was tiled that has anyone who visits in awe of the design. Everytime I walk around my house now I can't even believe it's mine and my wife's. Not one detail was overlooked. The new bathrooms are amazing with new marble in the showers and stunning new tile with all new bathroom items. New canned lighting was added throughout the house with beautiful hanging light fixtures. With 100% honesty, if you have a home needing to be remodeled YOU HAVE TO CALL LORIE. Unfortunately, not his fault, it was not three days in a row since one panel was back ordered but is flexibility to come and work as soon as it arrived was very appreciated. Very thorough and careful workmanship. You will not find a better kitchen remodeling contractor! Make sure to ask him for recommendations for plumbing and electricity coworker- he does great work if you need stuff moved around before the cabinet work is done. Side note: these are mantra cabinets. One of the products he works with.
