I wanted to love this place. Finally tried it and what a disappointment. The pretzel coated chicken was inedible. So dry. You couldn't even bite through the cutlet. It was overcooked, possibly old. Ordered last night for Passover with a non-Jewish friend. After warning her about the limits of kosher for Passover food relative to year-round, she looked at me like I was crazy after biting into her sandwich from Holy Schnitzel. I will say, hands down, the best Passover take out I've ever had. The brisket fries were out of bounds, the wings were delicious, and the two sandwiches we had were both spectacular and flavorful. She even ranks the garlic mayo as one of her favorite sauces of all time, and insisted we come back here after Pesach so she can see how incredible it would be with regular bread and less limitations. I went in on Saturday night right before they closed the girl was told by the manager you have two customers. She turned around took the order then asked if they can prepare the order. Or are they closed. If they were closed she should have not taken the order. The girl who works in the front is a complete moron. Really liked it here. Tried it out with my husband for lunch a few weeks ago. Right off the bat. I like that it was a huge place. Plenty of space for friends and family to grab a bite. We went with lunch specials. I got a burger with bacon and regular fries. My husband got their Buffalo wings. Food was made pretty quick. Even if it took a long time they have tv on to watch news or watever. Burger was great cooked just right not dry or anything. Fries were good too not greasy or the frozen kind. My one complaint was that the guy put too much mayo. My husband loved his wings and I tried one. They were great loved the sauce. Just sort of small, I mean the size of the actual wings not the portion. That was pretty generous. I won't hold it against them probably just what they had that week. My husband was there before and said was bigger. Overall, worth a try. Head up for yelpers, I checked in and received a free cookie! Always nice to get something. And was actually pretty good. Been coming here for years - always delicious chicken and service with a smile. Stopped by for a somewhat typical order for me - a tray or two of chicken fingers. Price for a medium tray has always been 65 dollars. Today the register rings up a $99.00 a tray but the menu in the store and the menu online both say $65.00. Explanation was that price of chicken went up. I get it. So I made a smaller order and then the guy behind the counter tells me I am disrespecting the store by questioning the prices. Really? I think it is reasonable to expect to be charged the price on the menu, or at least not feel threatened when asking why the price if different from the menu. What would have happened if I ordered online instead of stopping in? Would they have told me I owed them more money? Hope the owners see this and re-train their staff. The guy at the cash register made me feel very uncomfortable - so much so, that I will never order from this place again. Lots of other places to eat nearby. BTW, the guy behind the counter who I refer to was not "Arkady". Arkady is a professional. He said he understood but there was nothing he could do. The guy at the cash register was way out of line. I just tried the avocado chicken salad.. it was a very thin filet of chicken breast cut up into like 12 pieces. A tablespoon of guacamole and pretty much 90% of the salad was romaine lettuce filled to the top of the bowl. Almost $18. Almost two years since my last review and this restaurant hasn't changed a bit for the better. Here is a quick update after my visit this week. 1. Servers still touch raw meat and fresh salads and breads WITHOUT changing gloves. 2. They still list 5-6 types of schnitzels on the menu, but they only carry 1-2 types. 3. The sandwiches are emptier than ever before. Barely any meat either. 4. They give you a tiny amount of dressings and now they charge you for anything over two tiny dressings on the side. 5. What an incredible experience! After a hasty review below, this place did a complete 180 and truly emphasized the idea of customer service and catering to the individual customer. My review below, dated about a month ago, was very quick to judge on a new business during their "soft opening" stage. I failed to realize that that stage is always the most difficult for businesses. Today's experience was truly exceptional and the food even more so! The manager and owner (Hiski) of the store went above and beyond my expectations. My wife and I simply cannot grow tired of this place, with such variety. This became our go to place. We offer get lunch and occasionally dinner. So far we haven't had any complaints. Typically I often get the Tony Special and Buffalo Wings and my wife gets the Corn Flake Chicken Fingers and The Breakfast Burger which are always tasty. The wait time greatly improved no matter how long is the line our food is usually out within 10 mins. The pricing is fairly reasonable and the ingredients are always fresh. Counterperson told me give them 5 minutes and it will be ready so I sat down waiting. 15 mins goes by and it's 5:15 ish and no word from them. I go back up to the counter to ask for a status on the order and a different counter person this time just pulls the order from the side.
