He seems to have found his niche market serving grilled meat skewers to local families in the neighborhood playing in the park until past dusk. He sets up shop around 6pm and grills until 10pm or when he's sold out. He is a bootstrap entrepreneur who built his own self-contained electrically driven food cart. His grill is propane fired, which is cleaner burning than other carts in Flushing that belch out tons of charcoal smoke. BYBBQ's menu as follows: 鸡肉串 chicken skewer $2 羊肉串 lamb skewer $2 牛肉串 beef skewer $2 王中王火腿肠 ham sausage $2 牛蹄筋 beef hoof tendon $3 烤面筋 grilled gluten $? 烤鱿鱼 grilled squid $3 Soda & water $1 His prices are reasonable with a tight menu but has everything we like. You can order skewers of chicken, lamb, beef, ham sausage, beef tendon, gluten & squid. He was also grilling fish tofu (魚豆腐, not on the menu) when I got there, so I ordered that along with 2 each of chicken, lamb & beef. I'm sure he's got some other surprises in his cooler as well. I'll have to check if he has fish balls next time. All are grilled to order and ready in 5-8 minutes. They are seasoned with cumin spice mix, sesame seeds and with optional red hot pepper powder if you want it extra spicy. Take your skewers to go, enjoy them al fresco in the park or at his sidewalk table & stools setup. There is plenty of free on-street parking around the block, so driving to this quiet residential neighborhood is convenient. I hope brother Yang does well to become a neighborhood staple and returns to this corner every Spring, Summer & Fall.

The food was incredibly fresh, everything was clean, and the quality really stood out. The service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The only downside is the parking, which can be a little challenging. If you come at the right time, though, you can usually find a spot right in front of the restaurant. Other than that, I have nothing but great things to say. If you're ever in Queens or anywhere in New York, I highly recommend stopping by at least once. You won't regret it! We'll definitely be back!

Well, then for Mother's Day, my mom decided she wanted to try Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta out. And we loved it! Hot pot AND BBQ all in one? Yes please. There was a generous assortment of hot foods including garlic fried rice (so flavorful!), fried eggs, chicken nuggets and fries, tom yum soup, fried fish and shrimp, and chicken wings, among others. The main buffet area has a variety of veggies, fish and lobster balls, noodles, pork, seafood, chicken, and beef dishes, as well as a sauce and utensils bar. They have an amazing desserts section as well with shaved ice, smores, cake slices, and mango sticky rice (I believe this is seasonal). Service was fantastic as they kept coming by to refill our water, broth, and change out our grill. We were on the waitlist for an hour before getting a table, but it was well worth it (and I understand why there's always a line to get in here). We will definitely be returning!

They have a larger dining room that's perfect for big groups, so getting everyone together is comfortable and stress-free. The food is solid, classic Chinese comfort fare -- flavorful, satisfying, and yes, unapologetically rich in MSG (the good kind that makes everything extra tasty). The Fish Fillet Home Style is always a hit with the younger crowd, and the Double Cooked Pork is another standout -- think lechon-style pork belly tossed with plenty of vegetables in a savory brown sauce. That combo somehow gets the kids happily eating their veggies too. They also do Hot & Sour Soup right -- nicely balanced with the perfect tang and heat. The sautéed snow pea leaves with garlic is a staple order for us, and the pan-fried noodles are consistently delicious with great texture. The crispy garlic chicken was surprisingly good as well -- super flavorful and cooked just right. Portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing family-style. The staff are friendly and quick, and the place is clean and well-kept, which makes dining there even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a reliable, no-frills spot for big group dining with satisfying dishes, Wo Kee delivers every time.

They still have clear partitions between each table post COVID. Front of house service is mediocre, it's hard to get their attention even when there are only 2 tables of guests. The wait time for food is over 20 minutes long during slow foot traffic. We ordered the dimsum and portions were larger than your typical ones you get. Flavor was delicious and if you need sauces, there are complimentary chili crisp oil, soy sauce and white pepper. Use at your own discretion as the condiments are not labeled with best before dates. Bathroom is accessible. Cleanliness and odor could use some work. Overall, I suggest ordering ahead of time or do a quick take out order if you are on a time crunch.

Absolutely disgusted with my experience at Dallas BBQ in Jamaica, Queens. The service was horrible…read morefrom start to finish. Our server, Patricio, came once to take the order and basically disappeared for the rest of the night. Drinks were dropped off, then a food runner brought the food, but nobody ever checked on the table again. We had to sit there with no extra napkins, no share plates, and no table touch whatsoever. To make matters even worse, there were ROACHES. Not one... but multiple. We personally saw two roaches near our table, and the table next to us literally asked to be moved because they were also dealing with roaches on their side. That is beyond unacceptable and honestly a health concern. Meanwhile, there were dirty tables sitting around, servers standing around chatting, and the entire restaurant felt filthy and poorly managed. Even the bathroom smelled terrible. What really irritated me was that after providing almost no service, Patricio still circled and hinted toward a tip on the receipt. Tipping is supposed to reflect good service, not guilt or pressure after neglecting your table the entire night. I told my partner not to leave a tip because honestly the service did not deserve one, but he felt bad and still tipped anyway. I usually LOVE Dallas BBQ, especially the Upper East Side location, but this Jamaica location is an absolute disaster. Clean the place up. Nobody should be paying to eat in a dirty, roach-filled restaurant with inattentive staff. I will never come back to this hole in the wall again. I also have videos/photos of the bugs and receipt from the visit.
