Unfortunately, it was not. Originally wanted a corned beef wrap-they didn't have corned beef. Fine. I asked what the difference is between pastrami and "crazy pastrami" and was told "it's the pickles they put it in and the craziness they do in the kitchen cutting it up". What that means remains unclear, but for $0.50 I went with the crazy pastrami. For the vegetables, I asked for lettuce, mushrooms, and black olives. The ingredients look like they've been sitting out for a few days, certainly not refrigerated. And they were put in a side-dish container with the mustard I asked for put on top then brought to the back to be incorporated into the wrap? Strange. The wrap itself was difficult to eat. I ended up not even bothering with the vegetables as they were not enjoyable to taste. I have no idea what white sauce is all over the ingredients, as it was nothing I asked for. The pastrami was minimal in quantity and even this was meh. All of the restaurants in this area have a slight upcharge for being kosher, which I don't totally understand. But in the end I truly regret spending $17.50 on this meal.

Great Italian sodas, teas and desserts are in the fridges. It seems that most of their foods on their menu are homemade like their fig jam, cannolis, Bomboloni's, etc. I saw a sign for Affogato and I had to try. Absolutely delicious and their ice cream tastes homemade as well. Little chocolate bits inside topped it off nicely. The gentleman was very nice at the counter. So many delicious sandwiches to choose from on their menu, at one point I couldn't decide. I went with Il Fig. Prosciutto di Parma, double creamed brie with their homemade fig jam on a fresh baked bread. It's listed under Panini, but it was not a Panini. Decent price for the size. I can't wait to try the other sandwiches, I definitely will be back!

The owners are the real deal Italian, accents and all, and they remember your face. They carry just about every imported Italian product you could imagine: tomato sauces, seasonings, jams, pastas, cookies, chips, and all kinds of snacks. They have gluten-free versions of most items, too. The pistachio cream and lemon cream are must-buys. From the deli counter, I usually pick up fresh soppressata, provolone, mozzarella, ricotta, 'nduja, and other meats and cheeses to enjoy at home. They also stock fresh Italian bread every morning from Rose & Joe's Bakery in Astoria. Cipollina's espresso bar is excellent, too. I love their affogatos, and on weekends I can't resist the mini pistachio sfogliatelle. There's a small café-style seating area separate from the store to sit and enjoy your coffee and pastry.

The Fresh Meadows location is right by Kohl's with ample parking. The standout hospitality began the moment I walked in. An employee directed me to the counter and helped me place my order, explaining the menu items. Another friendly employee ( I think his name was Alex) noticed my large order and personally helped carry four trays of food to the table, setting the tone for a genuinely great visit. From the first bite, it's clear this is far from ordinary fast-casual fare--the chicken is juicy beneath a perfectly crisp, non-greasy coating, and the spice levels are seriously dialed in, whether you opt for a manageable Mild or decide to take on a real heat challenge. I love that the chicken rests on the white bread which absorbs all the delicious juices. The menu is thoughtfully simple, focusing on sliders, tenders, and satisfying sides, all served fresh and hot. All delicious. The kale coleslaw is a triumph. So are the pickles. I despise pickles, yet ill eat all the pickles at Dave's. They're so good! And don't even think about skipping the Oreo milkshake, thick, refreshing, and loaded with real cookie chunks, it's the ideal finale, especially if you've embraced the spice. For anyone in Queens craving authentic, high quality Nashville style fried chicken, this spot is absolutely worth a special trip. Highly recommended, and to top it all, IT'S HALAL!!! WHAT?!?! I'm glad there is now in a location in Queens with a huge parking lot. The prices are not very cheap but they do give good quality chicken. The chicken is very moist and flavorful and the fries are seasoned nicely. I will be returning.

This food is delicious. It's freshly made to order and takes several minutes before it comes out. The dining chicken tasted like BBQ chicken off the grill. It had a nice char and a slight spice to it. The jillif rice was spicy and had a tomato flavor. The sautéed onions on it were salty, spicy, crunchy while giving off a nice juice. Then the raw onions were peppery and tangy. The whole meal was delicious. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and sweet. It had a creamy feel to it. Very enjoyable. Their jollof is good too but I've had better. Theirs is a little dry and not as smokey as I'd like, but they do add a side of some type of tomato and onions near it so I mix it in and it does add a little more to it so thats a 4/5. Ive also had their fatal and it was good too. I see that they recently added fufu to their menu but its too expensive in comparison to the other places I've had. I wish they had egusi on their menu, but it'll probably be very expensive as most things are at this restaurant.
