I've been stewing about this for 6 months. I spent $460 on a two bedroom two bath house. I have a wool rug that needed to be cleaned. I was quoted I believe $4.50 per sf for the rug. I had two bedrooms done as well a set price. When i made an appointment the kid didn't show up so I had to call to find out he was having some issue. He came out and spent around 35 to 45 minutes prepping the equipment. He was in and out in 15 minutes. He went over the wool rug quickly. I asked him about the coffee stain and he said those are hard to get out. I had a guarantee so I called back and asked to come out and to try and get the stain out. Again he was late. He said again those stains are hard. Stain is still there. I realize that coffee stains are hard to get out but I don't think any extra effort was attempted. read more

I paid for both carpet cleaning and the gal "upsold" me to buy the Scotch Guard (which I found out from Consumer's is a total ripoff product ) They came, they left, you would have never known anything was done. My son came over and asked me "Hey mom, I thought you were going to get the carpets cleaned?" When I told him these people supposedly did it the day before, he looked pretty puzzled and said "Are you sure?" I thought that maybe I'd been ripped off but at 78 years old, it's harder. When my son left I called Holt and the woman I spoke with could not have been more rude. "If the carpets aren't cleaned right, that's your fault." She said that. We live in Surprise and wanted to have our rugs cleaned by a local business so we found Holts on the web and called for an appt. Within days Mr. Holt arrived and was very professional and prompt. My first impression was Wow, his carpet cleaner was powered by a car engine. He steamed our 10 year old carpets and vacuumed them almost dry with their powerful suction engine! I am leaving this review because I left one back on August 3rd when I got my carpets cleaned and while they did look great then they looked like crap just 30 days later and we never wear street shoes on the carpet. I called Holt's and was told by the woman that answered the phone that, that is just Arizona and that they don't have carpets in their home for that reason. Well I did some checking into this and found out that 3 other carpet cleaner all said the same thing, he more than likely he used to much cleaner and didn't get it all out of the carpet therefor causing it to resoil so quickly. I gave this business 1 star because I was lied to about the cost of my carpet cleaning. Before I booked the appointment I sent them an email asking for a quote that included any and all charges that I would incur. "What is the out-the-door cost that includes all charges" were my exact words. I asked if he wanted to come over and measure before he gave me a quote. He said he was very familiar with my floor plan and he didn't have to measure. He gave me the total and assured me there would be no "extras". I also told him the carpet was 20 years old and had never been cleaned. He was shocked to see how good it still looked after all those years! When it came time to pay he added an additional $25 because he said our living room is bigger than he thought. Our living room is actually smaller than the other Palo Verde floorpans because we had it changed slightly. Masks??? NEVER saw one on him. Shoe covers and gloves as he advertises - none! We paid cash. When he left, I asked my husband if he had the receipt, he said he never got one - for CASH!! So far the carpet looks clean, but time will tell. I'm not cheap, I just hate to be hustled and lied to by a salesman to get a sale. read more

I have used this company, Holt's three times and have been satisfied so I scheduled a cleaning for April 14, 2016. When Jason called to say he would be late because he had to pick up another machine we said fine. He arrived at our home and could not get his machine to start, he left saying he could call later. He called at 1:17p.m, our appointment was for 9 a.m., to say he was not coming back today or Friday and he could not fit us in until Tuesday. My husband and I moved all items we could and had furniture on the patio and in the garage , bathrooms and kitchen. I said why and his reply was I have other appointments that I can't call these people and reschedule them, so he left us with no service instead.
