Today was my first day visiting Pet Supermarket but it won't be my last. As soon as I walked in I…read morewas greeted by William. He asked what type of pet I have and then explained the layout of the store. (I have a Pittie btw). There are a lot of products in this store! They have all the usual suspects: kibble, wet food, treats, refrigerated, etc. What sets them apart from other pet stores is that everything is neat and tidy and in their own specific sections. Everything is easy to get to and the selection is fantastic. But what really made my visit special was William. He was warm, cheerful, informative and genuine. As I waited in line I saw William interact with EVERY customer that walked through the door and those that waited in line. He had an intimate conversation with each of us but not too long so that we weren't kept waiting in line. He signed me up for their pet program for future discounts and even gave recommendations on hiking trails for my dog and me. Most of all, it was so relaxing in the store. I didn't feel rushed and there was no music blaring or dogs barking. Although there were a couple of cute ferrets sleeping, rabbits burrowing and parakeets chirping in their cozy little homes near the register. Thank you William and Pet Supermarket for making my first visit a great visit. Have a lovely holiday weekend!

sometimes 5-star reviews are goodbyes. this is exactly that type of Yelp entry…read more Whole Dog Market was recently acquired by another company, and they are taking on the name of "Pet Wants." I'm sure it will be a lovely experience as much of the staff will be staying on. I found out about the acquisition on a recent trip to pick up the kibble I've been purchasing there for the better part of 3 years. the folks notified me that they will no longer be keeping Fromm products in stock (available via special order) and that I should transition to Pet Wants kibble. based solely on that interaction, I don't think we are fully grasping what it means to switch the kibble a dog has gotten used to--or the inherent stress and effort it takes to gradually shift the dog's (or cat's) food. I wasn't happy about that. I love the staff here, and our dog got his name from an inspirational visit back in 2022. but I'm just not getting the point of selling to Pet Wants, nor am I "with" the concept of force-switching (lack of a better term) to in-house kibble. I'll probably go back, but my primary visits will be to Highland Pet Supply, which keeps all Fromm products in stock. thanks for the memories!

I wish we had a Whole Dog Market in Savannah! It is great one stop shopping for your dog…read more We happened upon The Whole Dog Market when going to shop at Trader Joe's. It is right next door. There is plenty of parking with the private lot. Along with many other stores in the shopping center. The store is open and bright. It is easy to find items in The Whole Dog. The items are organized well. Also the space is not cramped so you have plenty of area to move around. I loved all of the grain free food options! It can be hard to find different types of food. Especially with good ingredients when you read the back of the bag. I did not have that issue at The Whole Dog Market. They also had dog foods at a variety of price points. They had a large refrigerated and frozen section. Also an area with probiotics, calming chews, and much more for your pup. And of course large treat wall! The customer service was phenomenal! We were greeted upon arrival. The associate asked if we needed any help we told her we were browsing. She said to ask if we needed any help. We ended up having a few questions. And every single question we had she answered completely. She obviously knew the products in the store well. She also gave us suggestions or substitutes for products if they did not have them. Basically if you are in Atlanta and you have a dog the Whole Dog Market is a place you should visit!
