My low maintenance (except for the grooming part) fur baby needed some vaccinations, and I wanted to check out this pet store. A win-win situation! Pet Supermarket is in the extremely busy Toco Hills Shopping Center, which has a huge and free parking lot for all the neighboring businesses. The veterinarians occupied a little area in the middle of the store, and there was no line because I got there a couple of hours after they started seeing patients. My Suki was such a great patient, didn't whine or bite, but then she doesn't do those anyway. It took less than 15 minutes for everything they needed to do, and the prices were reasonable. Walked around the store. Prices were kind of higher than the larger and more popular stores. The store was well organized and clean. It was funny to watch Suki look through everything, especially in the dog toys area. She is a small dog and weighs only 11 lbs, and she was so interested in the large toys. Some of those toys were almost half her weight. This store sells live animals, and today I saw chameleons, lizards, rabbits, birds and "skinny" guinea pigs. It's not that they were actually skinny, like thin, but barely had any fur, looking as if a kid had taken electric shears and shaved most of their fur off of their bodies. They were very energetic, though. All of the animals that I saw, including the fish, were healthy. This store, even though it's smaller in size than the mega pet stores, looks like it stocks most of the necessities for your pets.

I saw how he behaved with the other customers as well, and he is really kind-hearted. Great staff member! Store: Very bright store, great price labels, and easy layout to walk through. Such a satisfying shopping experience based on the organization of the store. Would I recommend? Yes. Will I be back? Maybe. The prices were a bit high, but I like the variety, so maybe.

The prices are higher than PetSupermarket but I tend to avoid both places because the convince of Publix a few doors down or the online monster that is Chewy.com So why would you choose Petco over Publix or online for basic food? I don't know honestly. Maybe if you have specific groom needs or your pet requires a special food. Publix probably has the brand of basic cat food you want. Would I come here again? Yes, but only for a toy for the cat's birthday but it doesn't matter because he'll just end up playing with the empty box instead.

Staff specifically stated they would reach out to DeKalb Animal Hospital to obtain his records and confirm his seizure history. That is the opposite of being "unaware." 3. "The dog bit a manager; lucky no skin was broken." Completely misrepresented. At pickup, the employee who checked us out described Yogi as "a character" and joked about him playfully nipping at her rear - saying it "happens all the time." She was smiling, uninjured, and unfazed. There was no mention of aggression, fear, or injury. However, today... when I entered the store with my two italian greyhounds on harness and leash a very large black dog agreesively jumped us at the door. I was able to pull both of mine and myself out the door and leave. I have always recommend this business, but might hesitate to do so in the future... I don't feel it's safe to take your pet in with you at this point. I am sure it's an isolated incident, but the store is simply too small and cramped for a dog to be on the loose... even if you think you understand it's behavior.

We were living in Atlanta for a year and Central Bark was the closest daycare facility to my work…read more When we visited the facility before bringing the dogs, the staff were extremely kind and helpful with showing us around and answering our questions. The facility and the staff were absolutely amazing for our two Great Dane boys. They would match the play group with their personality and activity, which they would come home tired and happy from a fun day. They also loved every staff member and were always happy to see them when they arrive! One of our pups had surgery and couldn't stay home after the first couple weeks due to our work, but their "Day and Play" program is exceptional for needing to be away from other dogs until medically cleared. Despite being alone, he had a buddy throughout the day for low-level play time and enrichment to keep him busy. We highly recommend taking your dogs to Central Bark in Atlanta! We honestly wish we could've picked them up and take them with us to our new home destination. Even if your dog can't be with other dogs for some reason, they will not be bored! We miss them dearly!
