I have used them for some time mainly because I am lazy and they were convenient. After bad service…read morea year ago, they apologized and delivered the garments they had failed to clean. Recently I had some garments for tailoring. I went into the change room as they asked, but midway through being pinned a man came in who wanted elbow patches on his sweater. The woman left me without apology or explanation and went and helped him! I said nothing and went to change into the next garment. I stepped out and the tailor and another assistant were finishing up with typing in clothes from clients who had left. I waited. A man then came in and the tailor served him - while ignoring me. The other woman went to the back. I waited. The first man left, and another man came in and again, the tailor served the new male customer. I waited and then said, "this is the second customer you have served while I am waiting." He arrogantly didn't even turn, she said nothing. I went in and changed. She came and tried to hug me. I said nothing and walked out. Awful, awful service at very high prices. I went down the road to an elderly couple who are wonderful tailors. Half the price and far better service and tailoring. I will never go back to Lewandos, overpriced, rude...

On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.

I LOVE businesses which list their prices on their website, and they have a $10 off deal for first-time customers! I was hooked. Quick back story: I just moved to Needham from California. I had all my clothes dry cleaned before…read moreI left. The movers did a terrible job packing my clothes and I received them in wrinkled heaps. Literally every pair of pants and shirt that I owned needed to be redone. To make matters worse, my vehicle had not yet arrived in MA. I called New Season and even though it was Wed. (and they normally pick up/deliver on Tuesday) an amazingly courteous gentleman offered to come and pick up all my clothes and promised to have them back to me by Friday in time for me to fly back to CA for a week long business trip followed by a wedding over the weekend. Not only did they arrive on time, the shirts looked much better than I am used to. Not sure what kind of magic they use but every shirt looked brand new. Very professional operation here! I guess I have found my dry cleaner! They also do pick ups and returns in Needham every Tuesday and Friday at your house for Free!

This morning I had the worst experience with customer service in the US. This was my second time…read moreusing Anton's cleaners services and won't ever use them again. The first time I went they damaged my winter jacket after assuring me it was going to be ok. They responsibly paid Mr back for it that time, even though I took about a month to get my money; this first time I went to their Boylston st. location in Newton. About a month ago I gave them a chance again because I thought the jacket situation had been a rare case (they have so many locations that you imagine the service is pretty good), this time I went to a different location, the one in Needham to get a dress I bought and brought from Mexico cleaned. Well my surprise was that when I picked it up I checked it very carefully and once again they had damaged it. It took a month for the manager/supervisor SANDY to see me and when finally I could see her she refuses to pay for what they did. She said they were not paying anything because they hadn't done it (I'm sure my dress was perfectly fine when I brought it). She starts acting very rude and disrespectful to me. Starts ignoring me and asking me to leave because she was not going to pay anything. She was accusing me to wore the dress after picking it up, she said that how was she sure it didn't happen after because I didn't left ir there (honestly with the other experience I had, of course I didn't want to leave it there). I asked her several times to pay me for what the dress had cost me because I cannot use it any more. She refused and THREATENED me saying she was going to call the police if I didn't leave to what I said, call them I'm not doing anything wrong. I felt this was a power abuse and a bit of racism too. At the she gave me 15 dollars, saying I owed her foe the other order (the one when they damaged my jacket). Dhe gave me 15 dollars when my dress cost more than 100 but at this point I didn't care about the money or the dress any more. At this point it was the way she treated me what had me upset. This Anton's Cleaners company has many locations and they are known for doing charity work. Well what happened to me today at the Needham location with this MANAGER/SUPERVISOR SANDY was pretty sad and a really bad experience, nothing to do with the excellent reputation the company has. SO SAD AND DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. I hope she's not treating other people like she treated me today.
