Chips And Salsa
Gigi A.

We ordered chips and salsa and medium buffalo wings to start. The chips had a good crispy texture but the salsa was bland. My husband that the wings were meh. The medium sauce was on the sweeter side. I ordered the meatloaf and got the beef barley soup which was decent. I got the beef barley soup which was pretty good. Nice, warm, and deliciously salty. I loved the family diner atmosphere. The menu was extensive with many comfort food options. My daughter got an omelette and loved it. My meatloaf had a bit too much gravy and I wasn't keen on the taste so I did not ear it. They have great desserts! I think we will come back for breakfast and brunch because their breakfast food menu is extensive and looks delicious.

Steak & Eggs!

Hands down my favorite place for steak and eggs. They actually serve you a real steak and not one of those flavorless thin breakfast steaks. I had a rare hiccup last week for the first time in years and the manager called me to apologize and remedy the situation. You cant beat the great service and food here. Thanks Holidays!

It's good diner food and sometimes that's all you want. Cozy atmosphere, friendly waitresses, comfort food, cheap prices, and large portions. Price to portion ratio is good. Quality was pretty good. It wasn't overly salty or greasy like a lot of diners. I'd come back again if I'm in the area and the craving strikes me. :) There's nothing quite like flattop scrambled eggs.

It's Friday the 13th and we stopped by Holiday's to grab lunch with friends. We had an excellent experience. I'm upgrading my previous 3-star rating to 4 bright stars based on outstanding service (courteous and efficient) as well as great food quality. I had my usual Taco Salad while others at our table had a pair of sandwiches and an omelette. All of our meals drew positive comments and hit the spot. Holiday's delivered a solid cafe experience on the west side of Tree-town.

Consistently good, hot, traditional breakfast food! Service is decently fast without feeling rushed. A lot of tables, can accommodate large groups. Went on Sat at 10:30. Vestibule had about 15 people waiting but the owner (?) told us 10-15 min and he was spot on! Staff is always friendly. We had Angie today and she got my hubby's and my order correct. Especially when he got the egg white omelette. So many restaurants don't "hear" the egg white part of the order. He was happy! I hade the Homemade Hash and chose eggs over easy. Perfectly cooked, hash was very tender, not chewy. It all came out hot. Decir is nothing fancy, has a homey feel to it. We were in a booth by the window with a bird feeder outside, so it was fun to see the birds bickering for food. Atmosphere is loud and bustling, but didn't bother me. I am from Grand Rapids and l imagine this is a great local breakfast spit with reasonable prices. Been here a few times now and will keep coming back. Well done, Holiday's!

Senior Turkey Dinner!

I ordered 24 Turkey dinners for my staff and it was absolutely amazing. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the pick up of the order. The order was ready exactly when they said it would be and all the sides were separated.. the cranberries the gravy etc. The meals were individually wrapped in a container and they were hot and delicious. Everyone loved the meal. Thank you Holiday's!!!!

Veggie burger with cheese and a side of sweet potato wedges with cinnamon/cayenne seasoning. YUM!

A solid choice any time of day. I've come for breakfast and enjoyed the food. I've come for dinner and enjoyed the food. Neither time was overly busy or loud and the service was friendly and quick. They have a full bar which is a plus and have some deals prior to home Michigan football and basketball games, which is nice since they aren't too far from either stadium/arena. While this place has been around FOREVER, I've only recently visited but wish I had gone earlier. It's almost like a hole in the wall type place because even though it has a sign out front, it's fairly easy to drive by and not notice. However, I absolutely recommend stopping in for a quick bite if you're in the area!

Very mediocre, has good Google reviews and we're not sure why. Should be a $$ not a $, at least for the lunch and dinner menu.

Every dish we have tried here is so delicious!!…read more The line is always long but we didn't wait too long. Maybe 20 min and food was fast and took 5 min. I kept looking for seasonal options but didn't see any signs and the waitress I asked couldn't really hear me/understand what I was asking about. I just really liked their pumpkin pancakes and wanted to see what was in season now. We ordered the breakfast burrito (a bit on the smaller side but filling for me). It's hot sauce and sour cream were great companions!! We also ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes and it was cooked to perfection (crispy on the ends but still fluffy)!! The flavors were amazing too! I also appreciated that they put the whipped cream to the side (since I have lactose sensitivities). It's very loud in there but we were seated near the windows so it was nice. Oh and there is a waiting area with a couch to the right once you enter in.

We had the breakfast tacos, shared the gluten-free waffles, and my girl got a massive BLTE. Everything was very good. The waffles were a little crunchier than we would have preferred, so they were not our favorite texture-wise, but the flavors and presentation were absolutely on point. Overall, definitely worth the wait.

Such a cute place in the middle of a quaint neighborhood!…read more We came on a cloudy and drizzly day and it was still nice to eat outside. (Only outside is stroller friendly. Inside has about 4 stairs). We ordered the Corned Beef Hash, Breakfast Burrito, and Honey Cinnamon latte. We wanted to order more but it would be too much so instead we will return! The staff are very friendly and nice. The outside has umbrellas so it's perfect for rainy and sunny weather. The corned beef hash was delicious! It had some crispyness and great flavor! The breakfast burrito was also delicious and not too big but very filling! The honey cinnamon latte was very tasty too. Nothing disappointed! Parking is only hard but we managed to find a spot not too far away.

You order at the counter then they seat you. The atmosphere is very cozy, rustic and cool. You can imagine being in a commercial almost. Service was friendly all visits. Food selections are brunch focused with breakfast favorites like traditional breakfast, breakfast burrito, Pancakes, and more. There are some sandwiches as well. Food quality was good for most items we had over the visits with just a few average (not bad but not great). They stop by for coffee refills and whatever you need. Definitely worth a try! It's become a go to place for us.

Upon our initial seating we were set in at a table that had us way too close to those at the next table. It was a little uncomfortable to say that we were not together. We did ask to be moved and then sat a table in the middle of the dining room which was definitely better. My dining companion and I enjoyed our meals and were both pleasantly surprised about the quality and taste from a hotel restaurant. Our server was very kind and attentive. I would certainly dine here again. However, due to the size and layout of the dining room, I personally would want to visit on a day that was lower traffic.

It would be nice if the drinks were less expensive. A few things to note (and the only reason it's not a 5 star): - The website needs to be updated. I just wanted to peak at the menu, but there is no real website-- just a page that says it still hasn't fully opened yet, but it's been open for months. - When I clicked "order online" to try a different way to peak at the menu, that was also a dead end. Maybe just when I looked but either way, not great. - What made this place extra special and why it stood out from everywhere else in Ann Arbor was its late night hours. It effectively offered the only off-campus late night study spot (especially on Friday and Saturday, when the libraries and every other coffee shop is closed). I understand it's extremely costly to keep a business open when it's slow, but I hope it will go back soon.

Really nice, but a bit pricey!…read more Stepping into Mynt House is honestly kind of an immersive experience with how they've decorated and styled the place. We sat downstairs, and it had the look and feel of a cute Moroccan courtyard (aside from the obvious of it being indoors haha). I loved the mint tea experience everywhere I went when I visited Morocco, so of course got that here. $16 for a large pot of tea. Nice and minty, just a touch I would say on the too sweet side, but overall nice. I got the Shakshuka ($21) which I do recommend - delicious. And had leftovers for a second breakfast. The bread that came with it was kind of unique, very yummy dipped in the saucy savory eggs. My friend got the Traditional Moroccan Breakfast ($24) which looked like a fun smorgasbord. I don't recall any detailed description on the menu for this one, so I think the items were largely a surprise! Loved the presentation of everything.
