Amazing service and great food. Friendly staff. The tapas are all great and true tapas.

We stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed! The food was amazing! The baked cheese and the pork belly dish were delicious. My personal favorite was the charred octopus! We also had the Moorish lamb and the calamari. With all that food, our bill was only $44!!!! The food was flavorful and unique. Excellent restaurant, excellent staff! I'm ready to try more tapas next time. read more

Everything we tried was fresh and fantastic! We will definitely be coming back very soon.

The food and the service were great. The server was friendly and exuberant. He spent time with all of his tables at it was well received by everyone. Nice variety of tapas which were served promptly. My only suggestion would be to add a Spanish white like an Albariño to the menu. This was a great find. read more

Excellent place. Amazing food , lots of variety on the menu. Would recommend the scallops and the pork belly but everything was very good. Would recommend sitting in the dining room as it is cooler in there but really amazing food and great ambience for a good price. Got 8 small plates for 65 dollars. Will be going back regularly. read more

Super solid in Southtown. Tapas are super yummy with awesomely reasonable prices. Wine list is solid too. Inside is narrow by the bar but super cool with its open kitchen. Dining room looked pretty sweet too. All in all, an awesome place to get some small bites and some wine! read more

We went to Hola about 2 to 3 weeks ago! It's a nice quaint place. Their food is absolutely delicious and the variety of tapas they offer is amazing! We will definitely return! They also have a nice variety of wines. The only downfall coming to Hola is the parking situation...unless of course you don't mind paying for the convenience of parking next door to Hola. read more

have never been to a place with less concern for the customer. stood at the door with emplayers walking by for 10 minutes - no eye contact, no 'would you like a table', not even 1 word. looked like it had promise - but we won't spend money at a place that cant run a solid customer service focused business. would suggest you look elsewhere for Tapas in SA, read more

A-MAZING! Let me tell you, this place is so good, I mean so good. I've been three times since they've opened. Maybe one of the first few customers when they first opened. Their food is delicious, and great amount to share with others. Only suggestion I recommend, ask for more sauce for the meatballs and more peanut sauce for the chicken steaks. The employees are always working hard and to keep things accurate, the manager or owners I've met 2x's are exquisite gentleman who are there to please. The venue is always so clean, and the food comes out fairly a good decent time, enough time to enjoy a drink before it comes out. Def check this place out. read more

Delicious meal with William as our server. We decided to sit out on the patio and it was absolutely divine. A carafe of sangria, the beet salad, and meatballs, calamari, pork belly, and Cajun chicken were all delicious. Our least favorite? The Cajun chicken bites and although they were still good, they didn't stand up to our other choices. read more

Didn't like the vibe, management was somewhat not welcoming, came in as a maybe I'll try it and they kinda didn't give a f*. If I was the owner I'd be concerned. Like the menu and pricing but the sales team was not representing, the waiter was like you can go across the street. Lol. Bro where do you work. I'd say it's a try it situation but I won't be rushing to try it after the walkin in talk. Got to be better guys. It's ppls hard earned money and experience matters! read more

The food and service were amazing! I really enjoyed the beet salad and the cheese! Definitely go here!

We visited this place at 5pm on a Friday night. We were pretty stunned that the whole place was empty. We were welcomed and waited on right away by who seemed very knowledgeable and I would have sworn he was the owner. He told us to start with just 2-3 items first because these aren't the typical tapas size plates. We got the meatballs, the beet and feta arugula salad, and the baked cheese. The baked cheese came out first. It was a really creamy cheese in a sweet fruity jam with some mild spiciness in it. It was delicious but only came with two pieces of small bread between us. The waiter brought out 3 more pieces of bread way later. I would say that the meatballs were tapas sized, and each of the two meatballs could be eaten in one of two bites. Flavorful, but I wouldn't say they're any larger than the typical tapas size. He specifically warned us about the salad being not the usual tapas size which I guess maybe some tapas places would only serve you a clump. This place definitely gave us more than that, it was a long plate of it but when you slide it over to your little plate, half of that salad still neatly fills in the little plate. We were definitely still hungry after that and so we ordered the charred octopus in paprika garlic oil. Definitely tasty octopus and the sauce was definitely garlicky. Lime was provided to give it that acidity. I just wish it came with some bread because the octopus was not plentiful enough to be able to eat with the sauce. The price for these 4 plates were pretty reasonable and it didn't leave us engorged which honestly should be the norm. But if it came with just a little more bread I think we would have been able to indulge in the beautifully crafted sauces more. read more

writing this review as I'm sitting in the restaurant because the food is THAT good!! our server Tony gave us some really amazing recommendations. the calamari was my absolute favorite. but we also had the bay scallops, glazed pork belly, beef and chorizo meatballs and cajun chicken bites. for dessert we had the truffle and natilla, chefs kiss when combined. every single thing was so flavorful and honestly couldn't complain about anything. make sure u ask for Tony!! read more

Amazing small bites! Brought me right back to Barcelona. Authentic in every way with some of the best sangria. Staff was amazing, I made reservations and greeted me at the door like I was a regular. Everything on the menu was made to order fresh. My only regret was not ordering more. read more

Our favorite food in the world is Spanish Food... We had never heard of Hola, but it was a pleasant surprise. We consider it a hidden gem in San Antonio! The food was delicious - Patatas bravas, Shrimp al ajo, Scallops, Serrano Flat bread... And we could have tried more! We had sangria and it was delicate and refreshing. The terrace/patio is beautiful, with a gorgeous community wooden table as well as plenty of other individual tables. There's colorful art everywhere, including the giant octopus as stained concrete on the patio. Antonio was super kind and shared with us the story of the place, the art that adorns it, and the plans for amazing paella days in the future. Prices were also very reasonable, a rarity since the crazy inflation we've experienced the last 2 years! We're definitely going back! read more

We were visiting San Antonio, and found Hola! while we waited for our reservations at the restaurant across the street. We had drinks and a couple of dishes before heading to dinner. All I can say is, I wish we had skipped the reservations and stayed put. The owner is so kind, and the restaurant warm and inviting. We had the beet salad and the roasted cauliflower, and am shocked at how good it was. I mean, it's just vegetables, right? I wish we could have gone back and tried the other protein dishes. Reasonable prices, awesome service, and delicious food. Just go! read more

Made a reservation for a friends bday here. None of us had tried this place yet but we're interested in trying it out. The food was good and well priced. Although the service was a bit slow we did like our server. Just seemed they were short staffed so that's understandable. What did upset me about this place was that we made a reservation for 4 people and 1 high chair for our baby. On the phone they did say they had literally only 1 high chair but said they would hold it for our reservation. We didn't ask for them to hold it they said they would for us so we really appreciated that. We got there and the table was not even ready but what was upsetting was seeing that they in fact gave that only high chair to another party. And that other baby was MIA for the first 20 mins of us being there so it was just empty at that other parties table. We ended up leaving after that first round of food and drinks. Since I'm a stay at home mom I was looking forward to having an enjoyable evening with my family and friends but we had to hold our baby the whole time struggling to feed baby and ourselves. So with all that they should probably invest in a few more high chairs and hire more staff for first Friday. read more

Authentic experience! My husband and I were wanting to recreate our honeymoon to Spain and decided to give Hola! a try. We were so pleased with our experience. We ordered the calamari, charred octopus, and cauliflower with sangria. We found the portions to be enough, pricing fair, and flavors incredible! We also loved the atmosphere - the inside brings the charm of the old world, the patio allows you to enjoy the beauty of downtown SA. They are in the process of expanding their menu as well as adding spaces for artwork and music. Highly recommend and will return! read more

Very rude to patrons coming in..Came in with two friends for a drink and needed to use the bathroom. Assumed we were just there for bathroom and proceeded to ask if we had a reservation considering the place was totally empty. When we said no the owner/employee got irate and said there is no public restroom allowed. He was very stereotypical and as long as I've been coming to places around Southtown I have never experienced this type of behavior and will not be going back..save your money and time and do not visit this place unless you want to get treated badly read more
