I had the perfect iced Mazapan latte here at Hola Cafecito-- amazingly balanced and sweet without overpowering the coffee, with a sprinkle of peanuts. One of the best coffee drinks I've had in the recent weeks. The interior is beautifully decorated with plenty of seats. I also had a brownie that was standard but tasty.

The drinks were so good and the cashier was super nice. It was busy but it didn't take long for our drinks to come out!

Didn't get to order any food, except for a cold cinnamon brew coffee. Delicious. I did appreciate the ambiance as you can see my pictures taken inside. There is plenty of seating

The service was very quick, very cute cafe in downtown Merced. It definitely gets busy. The drinks are very creative and enjoyed it. Would love to stop here in the future.

Dare I say the best coffee in the 209??? Hola Cafecito is the most perfect addition to main street Merced. The coffee, the culture, the vibes, the service! I have zero complaints. I try to make it here every trip home because it is so damn good. Let's start with the goods: the dirty horchata is done very well. Not overly sweet but you actually taste the rice & cinnamon and all the things that make horchata wonderful. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered this dairy free but minor detail! I will suffer lol The cafe con leche is delic! Brown sugar & cinnamon, another unbeatable combo. You really can't go wrong with any drink here. Not only is the space beautiful but the staff is super kind. My 83 year old dad is not comfortable ordering in coffee shops like this and they're always patient and helpful. No notes, 10/10 recommend.

Stopped by while passing through town and got their iced oaxacan mocha. My mom tried their iced cafe de olla. Both drinks were perfect! Not overly sweet but flavorful. They were pretty busy but the wait to get our drinks wasn't long. Inside was clean and the decor itself was really nice. Bummed I don't live close by because I already want to go back for another coffee!

Stopped by Hola Cafecito and loved it. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Drinks were delicious and well made -- you can tell they care about quality. The ambience is cozy, bright, and inviting. Great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Hanford, CA.

The service here is quick and friendly and it has a very welcoming vibe. Great place to meet up with friends and chat and study if you can do it with a bit of noise. I had a mazapan iced latte and it is one of my favorites. I definitely recommend visiting Hola Cafecito when in Merced.

The Avocado toast was really good. Love that it has a little kick. Have become my fave for Avocado toast. Coffee was really good and they also have little pastries for purchase also. Service was food and the location is very nice and cozy. Definitely recommend.

Hola... Hola. So I totally had no idea you moved into the neighborhood. I am always looking for good cafe options where the coffee is good (and doesn't cost an arm) and where there is plenty of seating, WiFi and bonus if you got plugs. I saw you recently while walking by and knew I had to come by. So I did that same week! My first impressions? Your cafe con leche was lovely. Yummy. A little pricey but I'll blame inflation and chalk it up to small business staying in business donation . I won't pay this at Starbucks but a small chain.. ok. Seating? Plenty. That's great. The only thing is it's so crammed together we are all sliding our way out of our tables. I get it I would cram many tables too. If I was studying it would be ok but taking a business call... feel bad for my neighbors. Plugs. Check. WiFi check. I always look for this info but can never find it. So I am noting it here. Your welcome It's also very loud in here. Some may like it. Others may not. Not a study quiet vibe but more of a lively cafe vibe. Anyhow glad you are here. Merced has too many tire shops, Starbucks, burger places, pizza places... but one I don't mind having more variety are cafes. So welcome. Hope you thrive here. One of these days I'll come to try ur breakfast

This spot is honestly a whole experience, not just coffee. From the moment you walk in, everything feels clean, aesthetic, and well put together. The atmosphere is super welcoming perfect whether you're just vibing, on your laptop, or catching up with someone. The service stands out too-staff are friendly, attentive, and actually take care of you, not just rush you through. You can tell they care about what they're serving. The place itself stays really clean, including the seating area and even the restrooms, which is always a big plus. It gets busy, but it's because people genuinely enjoy being there. Overall, great drinks, great service, clean environment, and a solid vibe all around. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

    Looks can be deceiving

Place is cute, service is okay. But my review today is for their drinks. I ordered a cold brew with brown vanilla and a splash of half n half. The most disappointing $7 drink ever! I can tell that they make their syrups in house which is great but it seems like in this case their brown vanilla tastes more like burnt vanilla. When making their syrup they must've let the sugar burn a bit. They may be thinking the "brown" in the name would disguise the flavor so they still put it out this way?? It made the drink bitter and disgusting. Like I said, The place is cute. I also want to support smaller businesses but they're out here making it hard on us. Over hyped coffee shop. I took the (L)oss and guess where I headed to right after?

Yummy bagels! I…read morestopped by Bagel Tyme with some friends on a weekend morning. If I could describe this place in one word it would be "BUSY." The line to order was wrapped around inside the shop and out the door. I would say the bagels are 100% worth the wait though. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels, cream cheeses, and toppings. They even have a sandwich menu! I ordered the Beesting Bagel Sandwich which comes on your choice of bagel with egg, bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and a hot honey drizzle. It was absolutely delicious! The bagels were super soft with a nice crust on the outside. The cream cheese was perfectly thick and creamy. The hot honey drizzle really tied everything together well! Because it was so busy, it did take a while to receive our food. The line to order, although long, did go by pretty quickly. There were some tables inside but it was too crowded to find a spot. Luckily we were able to find a table outside while we waited for our orders. Whenever an order was ready, the workers walked around both inside and outside shouting the name of the order which made it convenient for us to not have to fight the crowd to the counter. The only issue I felt there was was the cleanliness. When you are standing inside, you can quite literally see years of caked on dirt on some of the not frequently touched surfaces. The lamps probably had an inch of dust built up. Although this isn't the most important detail, it still makes me question the cleanliness of the whole establishment. Despite this, I won't be held back from revisiting if I am in the area again!

It's your average lox bagel with tomato, capers, and red onions. The wait was about 10-15 minutes but there was a small line shortly after I ordered. Overall, I wouldn't come back if I were craving a lox bagel to this place because the total for 1 lox bagel came out to be $15 with tip, but it was convenient as this store is located near the highway.

Since she has graduated, I won't be in town anytime soon, but I highly recommend them for some good Thai and Laotian bites if you're ever in Merced! They have a selection of delicious dishes and I have loved everything that I've tried. My go-to orders are the Papaya Salad and Khao Poon. The papaya salad is a must and the spice level was the perfect amount. The Khao Poon is a coconut curry based noodle soup that is so flavorful. I've also come to really enjoy the Nam Khao (Laotian crispy rice salad), each bite is crunchy and absolutely delish. Your Asian comfort food cravings will definitely be satisfied here. Wishing The Papaya Lady continued success!

Located off on the corner of 16th Street and G (same plaza as Little Caesars), the Papaya Lady is actually tucked away inside a carniceria. The aisles of the market nearly block the counter to this little kitchen. It's the neon sign of "The Papaya Lady" buzzing that guides you to the back. We came in the late afternoon on a Saturday and they were already out of the fried chicken and sticky rice (next time!). We ended up ordering: Papaya Salad (extra spicy) - The little peppers in this gave the dish a nice kick. Super refreshing on a hot day. Nam Khao (crispy rice lettuce wrap with pork skin) - I highly enjoyed this one with all the crunchy textures and flavors. Will 100% get again. Khao Poon (noodle soup) - This broth had a subtle peanut flavor which was delicious. Wished it had more toppings. Nam Vanh (tapioca drink) - My drink seemed to lack the other jellies that I saw in other pictures and only had the lil tapioca balls, sweetener and coconut milk. It felt like it was missing something for sure. The owner is so nice and friendly. I don't know if it's a psychological thing, but every time he acknowledged or spoke to me, he used my name. It just felt automatically more warm and welcoming lol The price per portion is also legit. You get so much for what you pay. Our order kept me and the SO fed for almost 3 days. So nice to have some good Asian food in the Central Valley. Will definitely be back!
