If I'm in the area again, I would return and try other drinks.

The menu was a little overwhelming (the default drink is that they let you pick multiple flavors and I didn't want to risk messing up my own order), so I went with one of their specialty drinks, the Caramel Camel. I set the sugar level to light, yet it reached a level of sweetness that was so intense that I had to get it redone. Even with an ever lighter level of sweetness, it still tasted excessively sweet. Overall, an interesting experience. If this is the best that Merced has to offer, I feel kind of bad for everyone in Merced for not having access to better drinks. Not sure if I'd get the chance to return as I don't normally go to Merced, but on the off-chance I end up in this area again I'd hope that maybe one of their other drinks was better.

Nam Khao (crispy rice lettuce wrap with pork skin) - I highly enjoyed this one with all the crunchy textures and flavors. Will 100% get again. Khao Poon (noodle soup) - This broth had a subtle peanut flavor which was delicious. Wished it had more toppings. Nam Vanh (tapioca drink) - My drink seemed to lack the other jellies that I saw in other pictures and only had the lil tapioca balls, sweetener and coconut milk. It felt like it was missing something for sure. The owner is so nice and friendly. I don't know if it's a psychological thing, but every time he acknowledged or spoke to me, he used my name. This cafe is truly impressive and lives up to its popularity. It's spacious and has a ton of seating, both inside and out. The Latin influence is clear as soon as you walk in the door, and the whole place has a great vibe. The staff is top-notch, super friendly, and they get your order out fast, which is always a plus. The menu is a solid setup for a cafe. They have plenty of cold and hot coffee options, so you're covered no matter what you're in the mood for. They also have a light breakfast and brunch menu with things like avocado toast and bagels. They even sell bags of their toasted beans, which is a nice touch. Overall, Hola Cafecito is a solid spot. It's clean, the service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the space is well-laid-out. I had a great experience today at Hola Cafecito! My coffee was absolutely delicious -- perfectly made and full of flavor. The environment is warm, friendly, and very clean, which made it an even better place to relax and enjoy my drink. It's also so nice to be able to support new and unique businesses right here in Merced. You can tell they really care about their customers and the quality of what they serve. Absolutely loved my visit to Hola Cafecito! The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. I tried their warm Mazapan coffee and it was incredible--rich, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness. This spot is definitely a hidden gem in Merced.
