first time here to have a pre birthday get together with family for my niece's birthday...the food is absolutely fresh and delicious...awesome all you can eat concept at a very affordable price point! The place itself creates an extremely great ambiance...highly recommend all around! Special thanks to Sherry the server who was extremely nice and helpful...just an overall great experience!

Had to check out this new all you can eat sushi! Loved the vibes here. The veggie goyza was a real standout because it was loaded with flavor and the dipping sauce was wonderfully gingery. The sushi was fresh and balanced. The rainbow and eel rolls were our favorite. Service was good, and it was clean and warm inside.

They're very friendly here, and the complimentary mini spring rolls at the start of your meal, and the orange slices at the end were both nice touches. Everything we ordered was delicious and came out quickly. We had a combination of regular and specialty rolls, plus appetizers. But folks at the tables around us had other equally-delicious-looking entrees. And if you're coming here during busy hours, the "batcave" entrance, i.e, off Albany St., is a time-saver. Just be sure you plan ahead, because with only 7 tables and a lot of take-out orders, it can probably get busy.

The lady who's usually at the front of house is always friendly, pleasant, and efficient, but what's even more impressive is the food. With the acknowledgement that not everything on the menu is tops, I know that they can certainly deep fry and stir fry, their complimentary hot spring rolls are always piping hot and delicious, and the stir fry noodles are always beckoning me. The dining room is cozy but comfy and homey, and although they seem to get a majority of orders for pickup, we've always enjoyed dining in. I hope they keep improving and stay open for many more years.

The atmosphere is welcoming, they have a hibachi grill "Ting Ting Flip" room for parties, a sushi bar, and a nice dining area. It's all a great use of space for a restaurant that isn't necessarily huge, but also does not feel cramped. There's mild background music playing, so you never feel awkward between chats. And the lighting is just right, without being too dim or annoyingly bright. I started with Crab Rangoons and a California Roll. The rangoons were crispy and delicious. The California roll was fresh and hit the spot. But the Basil Chicken really blew me away tonight. It came with a mushroom broth soup which was yummy and a simple Japanese salad with a delicious sesame dressing ~ perfect for that umami craving. The main course Basil Chicken was packed with vegetables, perfectly cooked chicken, and although it was mild, had a nice kick to it. On display mushrooms, red and green peppers, onion, eggplant, broccoli, and asparagus. Really a full serving of all the good vegetables you need! The basil was not overpowering, and complimented the rest of the dish with that basil pop of flavor. Definitely will come back to order this one again!

I'm sure the Bangkok chicken is a popular dish but if I had seen what it looked like before I wouldn't have tried it. I'm not a fan of half the veggies and not a braised meat person. Ended up brining it home for my nephew who liked the veggies but not the meat. Husband got the lunch hibachi and it was mediocre. Clear soup was good.

When I was picking up a takeaway order, I had my infant daughter with me in her car seat. The owner took the time to personally escort me out the staff exit back to my car and waited until I was safely leaving the parking lot before going back inside. They are so incredibly kind and thoughtful. They absolutely adore little children that come in with their families, which is such a relief considering how some restaurants turn their noses at small children dining with them. Their prices are very modest. Our dinner the three of us is usually under $60.

You will most likely be greeted by two of friendliest proprietors in the area. Welcome to Niji Asian Bistro, a mom and pop sushi shop. 3 appetizers to go - poke mixed, salt & pepper calamari, and sushi sampler. Poke (POH-keh) meaning "to slice or cut" is a Hawaiian dish. It is comprised of cubes of sushi grade fish topped with an Asian-inspired sauce. It is sometimes served with rice. There was definitely tuna, salmon and yellowtail (I think) mixed with Unagi sauce (sugar, soy sauce, and sake). It was served with lots of avocado. If you like sushi or sashimi, I think this will be up your alley. Salt and pepper calamari. Fried calamari wok tossed with green peppers and onions served with some bottled sweet and sour sauce. I could actually taste the salt and pepper on the battered calamari rings. No tentacles in this dish, which, for me, is a bit of a downer. There's something satisfying about crunching into little legs/arms but that's just me. What also stood out was the size of the rings...all average ring size and the cook on them was just right, crunchy outside yet tender inside. You ever go to a place where the calamari rings were gigantic...like the squid did battle with Godzilla in a previous life? No bueno. Sushi sampler - It was a Tuesday...should have paid attention to Anthony Bourdain and waited until Thurs-Sat to get fresh fish. All in all, it's a good place, with warm proprietors, and friendly service. I'm willing to exchange my hard earned money for a meal here.

Sadly mochi by the time I got to it was slightly melted but thats okay I still ate them it was my fault for being obsessed with the coconut buns I reaally liked those. Also really liked the fact the Bubble tea was customizable, I had been craving a good tea I hadn't had accessibility to for sometime. Pricey... eh probably not I ordered alot, surprised it came in a pretty nice bag, got here in good time. Would I order again? Oh I think there are quite a few items I'd like to get again.

I was so excited to try this place! But my experience unfortunately was so sad! Let's start with…read morethe positives. It was clean and cute inside. The duck wrapped in scallion pancakes was the best thing we ordered! Delicious! The second best thing was the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, also very tasty. The edamame were edamame. The spicy dumplings were alright, the filling didn't really have enough flavor to be discernible above the chili oil coating the outside. They were tossed with fresh cucumber which was really nice. Okay, here's the tea on the bad stuff. It was really slow for a weekend night. The service was all over the place. They seem to just all work the room but there is no assigned server to your table so they have no idea what is going on. We were all served waters with our other drinks, but unfortunately one of the water glasses was broken. We gave it back to one of the servers who apologized but never came back with a new glass of water, or the additional drink someone else from our party asked for. Another server couldn't speak English which caused many other issues. We were approached several times to order food from different servers. They tried to take our menus away after ordering appetizers. Many more shenanigans ensued, it was honestly a mess. I ordered the biang biang noodles. I had to ask both servers the same questions about my meal because nobody was talking to each other and I got two completely different answers. I decided to accept the risk and order this dish anyway. I wish I hadn't, it was legitimately awful. The small slices of beef were stone cold and were inedible. There was no meat at all, it was just grizzle. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It was like trying to chew on rubber. Awful! I pushed all the meat to the side of my dish and tried to eat around it. One of the servers asked me if I wanted a box. I told her that the meat was disgusting and just to pack the few noodles I had left on the plate. She just said "oh sorry." The ramen dish had 2 of the thinest slices of pork loin that I have ever seen! They might as well have been cold cuts. And both of those were mostly fat. They were roasted and served untrimmed. And thats all the meat that came in the Tonkotsu ramen dish, besides the 2 slices of fish cakes. What are we on rations guys?? They are very stingy with the protein here. When a place starts cutting food quality and has no self awareness of service quality you know a restaurant is struggling financially or you have an absentee owner situation. I tried to pay a portion of our meal with a gift card and the server couldn't figure out how to do that so she said that they do not accept gift cards. I paid the bill with my credit card and headed for the door. As we were walking out the door, she ran up to me and said "oh we accept gift card, my manager show me how. You can pay gift card when you come again!" I said okay and walked out the door laughing. Don't worry! We will never be back again!
