5 star for merchandise and -0 stars for bathroom. I get this was an old mervyns but seriously it's not now so update your disgusting bathrooms. I feel sorry for the employees who have to use it. Only 1-3 working stalls and never toilet seat covers or tp stocked. And hello 99% of your customers are woman!!! Get it together. Please... Would be 5 plus stars if you fixed your bathrooms. read more

I dont shop here often but decided to have them frame a photograph of our wedding for my wife's birthday. I ordered the framing last Wednesday and was called the following Monday and told the matting was out of stock. Wasn't able to pick out something similar over the phone so I have to drive down there..inconvenient but not the end of the world Then I was told that the custom framing orders go out Mondays, cutoff is noon...he called me at 1:15 to tell me this. so that pushes my two week order out another week. He was nice about it but blamed it on their policy of checking out of stock items at the end of the week...there was still time to call me before cutoff time Monday. Called the manager but he wasnt willing to make right of the situation and just repeated their policy..the combination of those things had me pull my photo just on principle..I feel I at least should have been called before the order cutoff to give me time to pick an in-stock mat, or compensated me with a rush order...Very frustrating experience read more

SIlly me... I thought this was a HOBBY Store. They say they have slot cars, trains and miniature landscaping items but it turns out it's a big box full of crafting chachkies, and decor. Hobby selection was pitiful. Slot cars only a couple of the small sets from Carrera , no other brands and none of the larger cars. I asked to speak with some one in the slot cars dept, and after 5 minutes on hold the guy I spoke to confirmed that was all they had and that they cannot order anything they don't have a hole on the shelf for. Zero expertise, his only suggestion was that I go to Hobby town, which is not much better, unless you are looking for RC. Give the size and name of this place, I expected more than just another Michaels. read more

If you need it or want it Hobby Lobby has it!!! Even if you don't need it or want it they've got it!!!!! Cashiers are always friendly and if you need help to find something they have knowledgable people to help!!! read more

Hobby lobby states they have a large "happy planner" / create 365 section and to check it out. Needless to say I was underwhelmed. But if I needed Christmas decorations (on Aug. 2!) then I was in the right place. .. I'll stick to Michaels for my needs. read more

This was my first visit to a Hobby Lobby and I understand why Temeculans were so excited for the opening of this craft store. It also has art supplies and small decor items. It is very large, well-lighted, and clean. I appreciate that it is adequately staffed. Some of the other local craft stores don't have enough registers open and one can waste a lot of time standing in long lines. Not the case in Hobby Lobby. I walked right up to a register on a Saturday afternoon. I'll be back! read more

I went to the Hobby Lobby in West Covina. This place is ridiculously dangerous is you are into crap. So much fun, reasonable prices and a friendly stuff read more

Awesome experience at hobby lobby today. I never realized how great of value their quality products are!! Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. My favorite part was browsing through the fall collection of items (it even smelt like autumn). And the best part, I got to use my Groupon coupon at checkout!! read more

Love Hobby Lobby. We've stopped going to Micheal's because there is just more variety here. You can download a 40% coupon on your phone every time you come in. Pretty cool. read more

This place is awesome! It's one of those places where you walk in only needing one or two things and you walk out with a ton of stuff wondering what the heck happened. It's easy to spend over an hour at least there. This place is totally worth the drive from Oceanside. I heard there's a Hobby Lobby coming to San Marcos at the end of this year! Yay! read more

Love this store and everything about it!! So much better than Michael's (maybe) but definitley better than Joann's! I've been here for all my crafting needs and haven't been disappointed yet. I love love love their 40% OFF coupon!! Who doesn't like saving money? read more

One word to describe the interior: immaculate. Every single shelf was organized and stocked. There was not one piece of trash and dust on anything. The employees here smile and say hi. Amazing location! read more

OMG!!!!!! I walked in and at first I was overwhelmed and then extremely excited. The store is huge. It is a cross between a really great Michaels and Home Goods. This store has everything. I went crazy on the home decor items and them fell in love with all the scrap book stuff. Hobby Lobby has great sales and prices. I have signed up on their email and I now get a weekly coupon.....WONDEFUL! The store is clean and organized which is another huge plus. read more

Great clean place. And is as big as a Costco super huge place has everything you could think of.

My first visit to this location, or any HL, was yesterday. I'm already planning my next time. Love everything in this store!!

This store is cool! The cash registers are ridiculously old and the cashiers have to memorize all the sale ad items to key them in while you're getting rung up. You can find some good deals here though :) read more

The Staff is wonderful! And the store is kept very clean and organized. I had 2 employees that really impressed me with there great customer service. We came up from San Diego just to go to this store. It is well worth the trip and have been able to use coupons each time. We love the selection. Each time we come up, we find more to look at. I can spend hours in this store! read more

I purchased a welcome statue of a black lab holding a bone in his mouth with the welcome sign hanging from his mouth from the Temecula location while I was visiting a friend. This store is HUGE by the way. Well I drove home to San Diego and when I came to take it out of the bag I noticed one of the paws were shattered! I have no idea how it happened; it wasn't packaged up very well but also it was transferred from one car to another so it could have happened anytime. Well I call my local store in grossmont and they were being super annoying about returning this time and told me to take it back to the store that I purchased it from! So I called Temecula and spoke to Renee and she was a saint! I really wasnt expecting a refund or possible exchange since grossmont was being a jerk and when I explained my situation to Renee she was so sweet about it and offered the return or exchange! if I could give her more stars I would. She was kind and understanding. This is what a manager needs to be at all times! I plan on driving back next weekend for the return and will drive an hour to Temecula than 20 mins to grossmont for better customer service anytime! Thanks Renee. You were extremely helpful. Really appreciate it! read more

Brand spanking new Hobby Lobby in Temecula. Took over the old Mervyn's building, so you can imagine how big the place is. Everything is on 30%, 40%, and 50% off right now, plus they are allowing people to use an additional 40% mobile coupon, just show them the coupon on your cell phone. Closed Sunday. Open 8-8. We only got through about 1/3 before they closed on us tonight--need to go back, it's wonderful!!!!! read more

For anyone with any sense of creativity -- even if you don't, this place has some great home decor items. Some items are pricey but sales are awesome and often this store has a better selection than other hobby/home decor stores. Also has a great variety of gift wrap, candles, wall decorations, and fake floral arrangements. Could spend a lot of money here easily. read more

I could spend an entire day here and almost all my money! They have it all, home decor, crafts, and everything in between. They are priced very reasonably and have a huge selection. One side note is they are closed on sunday! read more

I have never had a problem with Hobby Lobby; in fact, I have always had good experiences. Today the employees seemed a little off and bothered (not as friendly as normal) so that's my only downside. But nothing can dock a star. The amount of crafts they have is awesome yet they have a decent amount of decorations that don't require any added work! Best craft store around! I also love their Christian values and the Christian music playing while you browse! Great craft store! Don't forget your coupons for 40% off a single item (comes in handy when you want that high priced item) read more

It's kind of like Michaels, if Michaels took steroids and decided to expand their stock. Hobby Lobby is THE place to go for your arts and crafts needs, but they don't stop there. They have all the wall fixtures you can cram into your house, neat furniture that I haven't seen anywhere else, and just about anything else you could possible want for your home or hobbies. They always have some sort of sale going on, and if you're not happy with the price tag on something, you can pretty much guarantee that its price is going to be reduced within the week. Awesome place! read more

My favorite store on earth. Just wish I felt that way about there employes. They are rude and not friendly at all. I felt very put down while I was exchanges something and had to turn around and come back when she forgot to put my 40% coupon on my other items that I showed her in the begging. I'm sorry but if I buy a adhesive wall sticker, and I take it out of the box an has a bunch of kinks in it I'm probably going to want to take it back. Long story short the cashier "manager" made it seem like it was my fault and that I had made those marks. Looks like it's back to Home Goods and Jo-Ans. read more

I visited the Temecula store a few days after Christmas. I visited the framing department because I was finally getting around to having my mom and dads portraits framed. My mom passed away 4 years ago and I lost my dad in March this year. This holiday season was truly special and heartfelt for myself and for my family. Luis in the framing department assisted me. He was professional, friendly and was very patient. At one point, as I looked at the loving faces of my parents, I began to cry. The tears just welled up and I couldn't stop them. Luis stopped what he was doing to acknowledge my sadness, showing me kindness, empathy and that he cared about me. He told me that it was an honor to take care of my family photos and that he would give them the dignity and honor that they deserved. I left from that interaction, feeling blessed because of my interaction with Luis. He made my day! He is truly the "frame-whisperer!" read more

Always super nice staff, clean, and the best home decor/hobby items. A million times better than Michaels/Joanns and I was beyond excited when I saw it being built a few years ago. I went to my first Hobby Lobby in Texas and it changed my life forever. read more

I have to say, after moving here from another city, this is the worst customer service of any Hobby Lobby I've ever been in. Today, not a single employee was smiling, kind or even bother to greet me. The cashier was abrupt, cold, unsmiling, unwelcoming; and all right in front of the lady manager. I've been to this store many times and have noticed this particular manager is completely incompetent. She's actually, just weird. read more

I approached one of the managers I believe his name was rich all I did was ask him a simple question and he was incredibly rude. I would think that since hobby lobby is a company with good values they would train their managers to treat the customers with respect and kindness. I guess not read more

Sorry did my research.. It is standard practice to stare at shoplifters and keep staring. It is to make the customer feel comfortable. But please let the security know if they stare to long at law enforcement they think it is a threat. read more

I'm so in love with Hobby Lobby....I used to live by one, and I was very sad when we moved. But, now....I can be complete.
