I wish you could give zero stars for the customer service and the way I was treated about 5 minutes ago. I own an online e-commerce business and came into Hobby Lobby as I normally do to buy materials for my projects hence I use my wholesalers card, etc. As I'm in the bead/jewel section, I noticed a customer continued to stare at me with a disgust look and just figured she had a problem with me being a heavily tattooed woman. As I'm putting stuff into my cart, I notice her peeking from the corner of the aisle to see if I was stealing. I laughed it off because typical of the human race to judge someone off their looks. Well now it's becoming annoying because she's following me around and I know she isn't loss prevention because I've worked several years as a loss prevention agent and pretty much know the procedures and actions like the back of my tattooed hand! I continue studying at different beads I need and hear this same customer tell an employee that she watched me steal. Suddenly I have two managers doing "inventory" in the aisle I'm in and asked if I needed help. I kindly declined but extremely pissed off at this point but I don't have the time to leave this store without my needed materials and head to another art supply store. I head over to the glue section and have another manager come to me (and I say manager because the people asking me if I need help are dressed in regular clothes), and ask if I need help. I decline and continue to the next aisle where she follows near the aisle I'm at pretending to be stocking items. I move to the next aisle and she proceeds so I shook my head and was over it. I proceed to the front of the store where she was speaking with another manager and I knew they were speaking about me because they looked directly at me and what was inside my cart. So I approached them and told them I heard the customers comment and as well feel uncomfortable of how I'm being treated and followed around and I even showed her the inside of my purse and told her I'm not stealing and well capable of paying for every item in my cart and all she could say is "I'm sorry you feel that way." You're sorry I feel this way or how about you're a valued customer and I truly apologize if we made you feel uncomfortable and how can I make it better? I asked is it my tattoos and judgment of look that I am the center of attention and she continued to say "I'm sorry you feel that way and we have tattooed employees". Ok so what is it then? Then another customer who is over hearing our conversation pats her on her back and says "I'm sorry" as if I'm taunting the manager!! Sorry, but I'm a hard working individual with degrees and certainly don't work at a hobby store to be treated like I'm a criminal. I will never give them another dollar nor I will make sure people know how they judged and proceeded with horrible hospitality and customer service. I will be contacting corporate in this matter. read more

I love hobby lobby. Customer service at the location was great! I'm very big on customer service. There were more then enough cashiers. There was no lines, in and out. Love the selection of items. read more

I have to say that I am a fan of this store. For every season or occasion, you have to check here because they probably have something to fit your needs. The sale prices are awesome, and something is always on sale. Don't forget to pull up the 40% an item coupon on your phone before you get to the register. read more

I have had 3 pieces of artwork framed here and Joshua is the best. He works with you on the best matting, framing and glass for your project. He takes the time to make sure that it is what you want and fits in your budget. He is very patient, pleasant and makes sure it's what you want. He doesn't pressure you, but takes the time to show options. He cares about customer service and Hobby Lobby should be privileged to have him. I will always use Joshua in future projects. I'm very happy with his work. I would give him more stars if I could. read more

Check check check your receipt!! Many of the "sale" prices are misleading! I had a letter A looked like wood with a sign saying 50% off but at register i was told "oh no this is not on sale, you have to know the material the item is made of something that isn't wood". Same with a feather I thought was half off, again told the sign said floral arrangement not floral items!! Annoying and sounds crooked to me. I wouldn't be surprised if they soon have a class action, refusing customers for misleading sale ads. Anyone remember the Justice girls store lawsuit?? read more

Clean store, the cashier was really helpful and gave us amazing discounts and let us use the coupons. Thumbs up to the customer service. I wish i got her name. read more

Love this store! Im getting married next week and hobby lobby has made it really convenient for me to have a diy wedding! They always have something that is 50% off if not a better discount! The staff is always friendly and helpful! And not just this hobby lobby location I also go to the Anaheim hills one also and love it! Plus they always have a coupon on there website! read more

I love hobby lobby and this location is really nice! They even gave me 10 percent off a piece of furniture as there was a corner that was a little damaged (fixable) and I am super thankful. The workers are helpful and the prices are great but it's hard not to spend a lot here anyway! read more

This store never fails me. Everything has always been in stock when I go, (little art/craft stuff etc) and is very easy to find. The employees have always been courteous, and helpful. I am so glad to have one of these stores closer to home, as I've always had to drive quite a distance to go to one. This store always seems to be organized very well, and is clean. Hope this helps! read more

I love this Hobby lobby. They have everything you need for your crafts. I use to be a huge fan of Jo Ann's and Michaels. I only come to Hobby Lobby now. The staff is extremely helpful, they actually show you where to find the items instead of just telling you which aisle its on. I really appreciated that. The store is super clean and is HUGE. It seems like items are always on sale plus you can find 40% off coupons online. read more

Welcome back to the past! In a hurry? Don't bother stopping here. Need to return something you just bought but can't find the receipt? You are screwed if they can't find the actual item in store and I mean actually FIND the item. Their merchandise is not in the computer like EVERY OTHER BUSINESS in 2017. Not going to shop here anymore!! read more

The people here are nice if you can ever find anyone. I have literally spent over 10 minutes each time looking for what I need without being approached by anyone to ask if I need help they never seem to be around no matter what time of the day that I go I'll just order online from now on read more

I have been to several Hobby Lobby's in Colorado and 3 here in So. Cal. Out of all the ones I have been to, this one has the cleanest store and employees that seem enthusiastic about their job. Very Friendly cashiers. I got was blown away! read more

Great inventory selection and sales. The store is clean and well organized too. I do have to say that, according to my personal experience on several occasions, some of the employees in this store racially profile customers from certain backgrounds. There is no excuse for ignorance or a lack of common courtesy to at least not be so sloppy about following people. They follow you around the store, stick their head around the aisle to see if you are there but immediately leave. I am sure their video supports this. The business is owned by alleged Christians but it may be just to close the store on Sunday and discrimination against the LBGTQ community. Real Christians do not judge others. I have two college degrees and make plenty. I had an item taken off at the checkout counter and the supervisor made the employee delete the entire order and ring it up all over just to be rude. People were standing in line so long they started to complain. Do not patronize this business. They need to come into the 21st Century. read more

This place is like Micheals but seems a little cheaper. I had to find a mask and stuff to decorate it with for a 6yr old first father daughter dance and quick. I found everything i was looking for plus more. Only problem they need more sales people on the floors read more

I love this place! As an art enthusiast I like a store to have variety of art supplies. This store is huge and people are very helpful if you need to find something! Used a 40% discount that is on the mobile app. Have saved a bunch! read more

I tried to return an item that had not stood up to normal use, and they point blank refused a refund or even a store credit. Two of them stared me down like I had committed a crime against candles for crying out loud. Over $17. They lost my business to Home Goods & TJ Maxx!!! read more

Amazing crafts store Plenty of craft and hobby items and ideas for anyone and everyone. Also to make things even better everyone of the staff is amazingly nice and helpful. Thank you Hoblob read more

Love this place, I could spend hours in here looking at everything that they have in the store. The only thing I wish that they had were scanners at the registers because the cashiers have to manually type in the price which could be very time consuming if you have a lot of merchandise. Don't really see too many employees walking the floor to help either and if you see one they usually ignore you... read more

In my opinion this is the best store ever!!!!!! Can go in there and spend hours checking everything out. I have bought many gifts for my friends and family there and they always love them and ask where I bought it. I use to have to drive to Huntington Beach just to go but now they opened one in corona and I am soooooo happy!!!! If you have not been to hobby lobby yet you must go but plan on spending g money because your going to love everything. read more

I love Hobby Lobby .. just wish they were open on Sundays. This location always has stocked items. The new farmhouse décor is the best . Love how they have sales each week and how they send out coupons weekly to. I stop in once a month to see what they have. read more

It was terrible today...this specific store is the worst one...these wall hanging file holders were on an end cap..you put files in it..it's chicken wire. The sign said 50% off all metal wall decor..right there. We grabbed it..as we bought, out was regular. We told them it said metal wall hanging 50% the lady sent someone..when they came back they honored out since its on the end cap but the sign was pertaining to the other metal pieces. I don't mind that but then they proceeded to say "next time you can't get it because that is considered a basket and baskets aren't on sale"...um...next time? Yeah...no next time idiots!!!! read more

So many really interesting things here. When items are on sale, the prices are fabulous! Nice, clean, BIG store. Shopping here is a fun experience but don't go for the first time unless you have lots of time as there's lots, and lots to see. read more

I think the average IQ of the employees in the store is five. I went to exchange a frame that I bought and when I opened, unfortunately broke and glass shattered everywhere in my living room. (There was already a crack in the corner). I was pleased to find the same exact frame, and decided I would pay for it if they didn't offer in exchange, considering I did not have a receipt. I went to the front register, and asked if they would exchange, after explaining what happened. The lady at the register was nice and accommodating, but said she would need to talk to a manager, the first manager was combative and aggressive in her body language. She should really learn a lesson in Customer service. She can't make a decision either apparently and calls over a second manager, Jessica. Jessica said I needed to bring the whole thing back including the glass. I said "so you're asking me to bring in a bag of broken glass". She responded yes! Seriously? After a few eye rolls, she begrudgingly decided to do the right thing and exchange my frame (this was after snapping "we aren't going to do this again"). read more

awesome place i love love love this store but reminder - i looked on the app from my phone on a sunday to stop by and said it was open. they are not open on sundays. lol read more

Love this Hobby Lobby. Just picked up exactly what I needed. On sale. Friendly staff.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT - the people at this store are a bunch of crooks. More than once I have gotten home and an item I paid for was not in my bag. I guess that's how they can afford to close on Sunday, by stealing from hard working paying customers. Management doesn't care either. Must be job security for them. Or maybe a bonus program. read more

i usually frequent the henderson, nevada location; but being that i am in cali alot i was really happy to see a location in norco off the 15 freeway! close to bobs big boy. hobby lobby has a lil bit of everything for every type of crafting or projects you may be doing for yourself or others! i went in to purchase a few shadow boxes for my collectibles. the staff was very helpful & friendly! also there prices are always great & they have a 40% coupon online every week. ill definitely be back! read more

Love that they're here. Have spent a ton of money, already. However, they price items astronomically, then have most of the store "on sale" - just like Michaels, thus their coupons are good only for "regular-priced items" and are rarely usable for any substantial product. Also, like Michaels, they open very few lines and it's a HORRENDOUS wait time to check out - even though you'll see many other employees walking around and only come up when called to do so. The employees are friendly, but after one question/answer event with the manager, I found he is not proactive, knows nothing about store merchandise, their locations within the store, nor anything else. I note other complaints about this manager - Corporate...WAKE UP! Love the selections, layout, and well-stocked shelves, but they really need to man the registers and get rid of the manager! read more

First off, I would like to state that this review has no reflection on the actual product but solely based off the customer service my Mother received. This was our very first time ever to visit Hobby Lobby. We got one item and took it to check out and an older Caucasian woman offered to ring us up. She then gives my Mom a look of confusion as if she was trying to figure something out and asks " Is this your 2nd time coming through here?" My Mom responds, "No". Then she gives us a dirty look and asks again with disbelief, " You didnt? You didn't just buy some stuff with a coupon a little bit ago and now you're here trying to use the coupon again? You know you're not allowed to use them more then once! you can't re-use them!?" Now let me remind you that this was our FIRST TIME EVER shopping at that store. We did not have any coupons on us nor were we trying to re-use any coupons. My mom said the first time she asked that this was our first time here and she was so quick to judge us and assume that we were only there to try and rip them off and get a discount. My Mom tells her that maybe she should wait and see if we are actually trying to use a coupon before she accuses us of re-using one. Her response was not to apologize, but to laugh hysterically in our faces as if she was at a stand up comedy show. She displayed such poor customer service and we will not be shopping at that location anymore. I'm not sure if she is just a rude person or if she was racially profiling us because we weren't white but either way, that was our first and last visit to Hobby Town. read more

My first time in this location and definitely my last. The manager working, Dana, was incredibly rude to the employees as well as the other customers returning items. The entire time I was at the desk she was chewing on gum as well. She just cost Hobby Lobby a loyal customer and didn't even flinch, I'm shocked to see a manager who truly doesn't have any customer service skills in a company like Hobby Lobby. read more

I love going to this store .... I am giving it a low rating based on today's visit...they enter their items manually and because of this I was charged 40% off of all my items instead of 50%....also the receipt says I was charged and paid for 30 items....I have counted all the items I purchased and I was charged for more items than the amount in my bag. I am not able to tell which items I was double charged for ....I know they have their reasons for entering items manually and because of this I will need to literally stand there and check to see if I am being charged correctly because today I was not!!!! read more

First time I went into this store, I thought I was in craft heaven! There is something for everyone in this store. Very spacious store with so many home decor items, seasonal decorations, craft supplies, etc. It is very easy to spend at least an hour there every time I come in, but it is time well spent. Great sale prices throughout the store as well as an ongoing 40% off coupon online that can be used for a regular priced item. I never leave there feeling like I paid too much for something. read more

Just left Hobby Lobby after being treated so rudely by an associate (older Caucasian woman with grey hair, pulled back in a ponytail) in the fabric section. I walked up to her with a piece of cut fleece that was in the clearance section. I asked her if I could unroll it to see the total size? She responded by saying, "It says the size right there!" (She was referring to the piece of paper wrapped around the fabric with the length on it.) She said this in an extremely rude and sarcastic tone as if I was an idiot and was wasting her time. I told her I couldn't really tell the size by the label. I was hoping to get a good visual and hold it up to see if the size would work for my project. The Sales Associate then grabbed the roll from me and said, "Well I guess cause it looks like someone else was already messing it up." For a Christian Store and one that prides itself on customer service, they get a big FAIL from me today. I'll be taking my money elsewhere! #horriblecustomerservice #notchristianbehavior read more

first off i walked in passed about 6 different employees not one of them said hello or if I needed help with anything. i walked around for a bit and found something i liked. but when I arrived at the registers, my item was about 4$ and handed the cashier a 20$. she looks around and says do you have anything smaller and I said no. then she says ok the transaction went through and she kept looking around and I was just staring at her wondering what the heck was she looking around for. I then asked her do you need change or something and she said yeah im waiting for someone to come up and give me change. I said ok.. about 5 minutes pass and no one comes( but there is what appears to be a manager in the front so I then said cant you ask him? so she called him over and even then the manager did not greet me just gave the cashier change. I kind of got upset and said nvm I dont want to purchase the item, I just want my money back. then manager just looked at me and walked away . the cashier then said I had to go to register 1 to get a refund so I walked over there to let the gentlemen know what happened . he then gave me a refund. the employees and the manager wearing a pink shirt with the bald head seems as if they were never trained to give great customer service nor how to communicate with customers. will not be going back here and will be telling my friends and family not to shop here. read more
