    Cold and dry tofu

Rip off prices for tofu. $30 for 20 small pieces of tofu and a small tofu kho. Will never come here again. Other places have fresher tofu and more reasonable prices. Edit: Went back to the place and met with another person to confirm the prices on the small tofu. They are 4 pc for $1, not $1 for 1 pc. The girl that ranged up the first time definitely messed up. Thus, from 1 stars to 3 stars for acknowledging the issue.

I've been looking for a place that offers vegetarian food to go, so I'm super glad I found this place. Everything I bought were delicious. The portion is right for the price. I CAN'T wait to come back and try all of their other dishes. The ladies behind the counter are very sweet and friendly, too. I really hope they'll stay in business for eternity :)

Delicious food! Nice lady behind the counter. I love this Vegeterian take out when I am in the area. I would bring home a bunch of food for my family and I. Bun rieu & bun bo hue chay is delicious. Everything here is good. Good portion too! Delicious home made vegeterian food! Plenty of parking in the front & right next to lees sandwich

Amazing, AMAZING plant based vietnamese food!! I love this place! When I'm feeling too lazy to cook, this is my go to. They have plenty of entrees to choose from and many of them go well with rice. My personal favorite is the ca kho chay. I like to have it with rice and steamed veggies for a healthy and hearty meal. I will usually just load up on a bunch of entrees every time I visit and it will a couple weeks for me. They serve and pack the food really quick too. I know that I can come even on my busy days because I usually get my orders within minutes of stopping by.

The tofu was chewy and lacking I. Flavor. They had the curry and mushroom fried tofu flavor but again it was flat and unappetizing .

My favorite dish here is the PHO AP CHAO DON, or deep fried thich rice noodles, topped with an assorted medley of vegetables and veggie meat. I have been a patron here for as long as I can remember, probably for at least 25 years... and the recipes remain consistent and delicious! I keep trying the pho ap chao don at different establishments, and always leave disappointed, because no place can top this dish here. The staff are friendly and you pay at the cashier when you are done. I also like their variety of spring rolls, banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe stuffed with bean sprouts, veggie pork and shrimp), and their soups. They also have another restaurant called Bo De on Beach and McFadden in Westminster, which is owned by someone else but the food is much better here. They have consolidated their menu to about 55 items from 88 before, and most items have pictures on the menu you can refer to. They also have premade items in the restaurant for you to grab and go, which makes it convenient for a quick lunch. There is plenty of seating inside and cute decorations of lanterns and Buddha statues. Happy eating! Yelp Review #55- 2026

Seeing local monks and spiritual patrons dining here gives the space a unique, serene vibe that really adds to the experience. The Food: Banh Xeo (7/10): Solid presentation with crisp, fresh vegetables and a pancake shell that avoids being greasy. While good, it feels more like a light appetizer than a filling main course. Pho Ap Chao (9/10): Savory, rich, and deeply flavorful. The chef has serious skills--the pan-fried noodles hit the exact right level of crispiness without feeling oily or heavy. Mi Quang (9/10): Exceptional. The broth is creamy, rich, and nutty with a subtle hint of curry that elevates the fresh vegetables. The noodle texture is spot-on, and this plant-based version easily outperforms traditional meat and seafood iterations. Service (10/10): Warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly staff. And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience.
