Came to this restaurant for banh canh but will be returning for the banh beo. The banh beo was so fresh and bouncy, the shrimp and onions on top added the perfect texture and came with a fish sauce and chili paste. The banh canh was thick and comforting, and the shrimp it came with was HUGE. Food came out super fast and the staff were very attentive.

Couldn't decide which Vietnamese dish I wanted for lunch, so came here to dine since they had so many options on their menu. English was a bit limited, but the man who took our order was extremely kind and sweet. Service was great and we were checked on throughout our meal. Some food items may be a bit underwhelming in meat quantity. For example, the banh canh nha trang didn't seem to have an abundance of the meats/toppings, but it was still delicious and the serving size was satisfying. Great restaurant overall! Note: There is a fee for water (I think 50 cents for to-go cup of water)

My Go-To pho place when I'm around!!! Been coming here since it was 50% off pho when dining in!!! Brought my now husband here to try pho the first time 16 years ago and he was hooked!!! The service is always good! Wish my dad taught me Vietnamese so I can order in the language!!! I try to try things my dad would have gotten if he was still alive. This place just makes me miss him and love the culture!!! My Pho Combo was so much food that I took more than half home!!!

My daughter was telling how me good this place was and kept asking me to come here with her. So I did. We both ordered #5 Udon with thick broth (Bahn Cahn Hue). The broth was supposed to be made with crabmeat but it didn't taste like it. The udon noodles was so overcooked that it broke in pieces once you pick it up with the chopsticks. So I had to use the soup spoon to pick it up carefully. It supposed to have crab meat in it but I only sound like one long piece of crab meat and four pieces of fried fish paste. At this point, this bowl is just overcooked broken udon and thick cornstarch soup. Also. I wish they would have let customers know they charge $1.50 for iced tap water. I would have just brought my hydroflask inside. Service was not so attentive and you have to pay at the cash register when done. We drove from LA to this place just to have a bad experience. Not worth the time, money, and drive to this place. Biggest regret. There are places in LA with much better Vietnamese food and service. Not coming back nor would I recommend.

I ordered doordash and my white rice is not white .... it's old and yellow/brown smells old too. I gave 2 star cuz some of the food is good here.

My goto spot for mi hoanh thanh and no frills Vietnamese food. They combined their menu with the banh canh place across the street. This place has been in business forever, at least 20 years. Solid and consistent.

The new owner said it was now 2 restaurants in one. Que anh Que em n Hoa Binh but after eating 2 items I can say categorically that's not the case. I love the old Hoa Binh I believe the owner was Chinese from VN so the Chinese food was authentic like all their Chowmein, the new owner is I believe NVN. I ordered chow mein I stress I wanted beef n seafood, I got cha siu? And a bunch of calamari that looked like rubber bands n tasted like rubber bands too! and a few shrimps. I ate it it was ok I guess. The appetizer was grilled pork roll (nem nuong cuon) are they joking or what? Prove me wrong but I think this was a gross tasting SPAM, I'd never eat spam even when I was a starving college student, why would anyone do that? If that was not spam why did it look like crushed tofu, the sauce was good though. I'm fed up w the bad food around here I just booked at a beachfront 5,stars all inclusive hotel in Cabo w ayce drink n eat continental cuisine m. Needless to say I ditched it, I think 3,stars might be generous. I did rate the udon side of resto 4 stars. I was sad the old owner quit, every other restaurant is on their last leg except the kei concept group which got every young adult following them like he was a snake charmer. I'm debating if I want to give it another chance to try their bun cha.

Solid Vietnamese restaurant that offers pho, bun, rice dishes and noodles, to name a few. They have plenty of parking space in their private lot. There were only 3 tables occupied when I came in on a Saturday night. The gentleman gave me the menu and I ordered and received my food within minutes. I ordered #25, the well done brisket and meatball pho. The broth was delicious. They do not skimp on the meats. All the condiments on the table were fully stocked, which is a big plus!

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and made us feel welcomed. The menu offered a lot of great options, but we decided on the grilled pork spring rolls to start, followed by the rare steak and brisket pho (small and large size available), and the grilled pork chop special with broken rice. Everything was delicious - the flavors were spot on, and the portions were generous. One thing to note, though, is they charge $0.50 for water per person.

Highly recommend this place if you're new to Vietnamese food. The pho here is always good, you can choose a smaller or larger bowl. They have a diverse menu, we love trying out new appetizers here. The rolls are a must, whether it's egg rolls or spring rolls. They have a ton of drinks, we love Thai tea. As for most Vietnamese restaurants, they're ready for you to order ASAP, haha. Really great setting for families and groups. Lots of seating, peaceful environment.

Came with a party of 12.It is a good place if you want a variety of viet food so people can choose whatever they want to eat. The serving sizes were so big. The food was decent, the banh beos were very good! We ordered bun thit nuong, com tam suong nuong, pho, mi hoanh thanh, banh xeo, and banh beo. It did not take very long for the food to come out even though we had a big party. The soup that came with the com tam was very yummy and delicious.

Banh Xeo, soggy and very sparse on shrimp and beef.

I barely had to touch them before the meat was basically falling off the bone. The broth had a deep, comforting flavor without being overly salty (which is a blessing to enjoy the flavor). We also ordered the pork cutlet on the side, and honestly, the portion was massive for like a quick lunch. Crispy, filling, and definitely enough to take leftovers home! The banchan was simple but solid too, especially the big slices of cucumber and daikon, along with pieces of pancake on the side. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth with Korean signage and an artsy wall, no fancy décor or over-the-top presentation. Service is straightforward and efficient. You're not here to be pampered. You're here for hot, delicious comfort food done right.

We were so full, we didn't even bother ordering anything else. Will definitely come back to this location.

When taking our order, she was very impatient and seemingly annoyed with me. When I informed her that the food that came out was incorrect and that she had gotten my order wrong- she began berating me in front of my family, insisting that the mistake was in the way I ordered rather than the fact that she kept talking over me while I was ordering. I had to ask her to ' calm down ' before she took a breath, finally. We used to love coming here as their food was always consistently good. But lately the food is hit or miss and the service is getting progressively worse. We wont be returning for awhile. At least until some more staff turnover occurs. That lady is nasty!

Mai Phat still exceeded them! It has since become our go-to lunch spot, as well as a local favorite for my wife's family. They specialize in egg noodles - served either dry (with broth and main protein on the side) or wet like a conventional soup bowl. My personal go-to is the dry mì sủi cảo - egg noodles with sliced / ground pork, huge wonton dumplings, a shrimp cracker, and broth on the side. The wontons come in a super rich and delicious sauce that I actually got scolded for pouring over my noodles lol. The light and clear broth is very refreshing and well-seasoned. Excellent mix of perfectly balanced flavors from every component. Add chili crisp for extra oomph. My wife loves the mì gà quay - fried chicken leg & thigh with the signature egg noodles. This is honestly one of the most perfectly seasoned and cooked fried chicken I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of fried chicken. Anyway, I have a crown cap so I wasn't super alarmed, but still a bit shook. I still finished my food but I politely tried to let one of the cashiers know. I showed him & everything & he was apologetic & asked what they could do to fix the situation. So I asked for a refund. And the other cashier said in Vietnamese something about me, like "Con nhỏ này" & I thought maybe he's talking about something else-but then when he gave me the receipt of my refund, he said "and I don't want you to be a customer here anymore." I was very appalled and I stood there wondering if he really just said that to me after I had an experience. I asked him why he didn't want me to be a customer anymore. And he turns to a customer to ring them out, ignoring me. So I waited til he was done with that transaction & repeated my question. He flat out said "because you're annoying." WOW. That's just so rude. And unfortunate bc I thought the food was really good & wanted to come back for the clam & the sweet corn milk. So I definitely wouldn't want to be a customer anyways with that kind of attitude towards a customer. Btw they give you plastic utensils here even for dining in which is a con.
