Let me start by saying that the customer service by the mom (Barbara ) was amazing ,she was so sweet and so nice .... I dint know they were about to close and they dint have the orange chicken or beef and broccoli but she said if I waited they would have some so I said ok... such a nice lady came out and talked to me while i waited and we even talked about my nails , even talked about a new location she might be opening where pick up Stix used to be by the court house. I most defiantly had high expectations after seeing all these positive reviews. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me. I decided to stop by during my lunch and I ordered rice, chow mein, orange chicken and kung pao chicken. The orange chicken was way too sweet and it was super dry and crunchy. Kung pao had no flavor. This place is great! The food is fresh and the owner is very sweet lady. When I let her know it was first time here she gave me a lot of different samples. She clearly takes pride in the food. It is a point and order place similar to Panda Express but the food is superior and the portions are plentiful. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken and he Orange chicken. Both we're delicious. We love Ho Won! My Husband and I grab dinner here a few times a month. The wonton soup is my fav and the chef will prepare with out shrimp upon request (Allergic). The salt and pepper chicken is also yummy. Staff are very kind and Thai Tea will not disappoint either (Dairy-free) :) read more

This place has taken a hit since transitioning to the new owner. There are no more shrimp/fish dishes that cater to Asian Palettes. In are more deep fried standard fare that you would find it Panda Express other Chinese fast food chains that cater to the orange chicken crowd. Not worth a trip back for me. read more

Super friendly hole in the wall that's run by a mom, dad and son team. They remember their regulars, and make you feel like family. This place is located inside the Albertsons shopping center on S Melrose Dr. I work three doors down so I'm always in there. They opened almost a year ago the owners are so nice and accommodating. Came in here with my young niece, looking for gluten free options. The owner was nice enough to make me gluten free chicken fried rice since they didn't really have gluten free options. I thought it was so kind of him! The owners were so lovely and my niece was very happy! This is my new go to when I want quick and tasty Chinese! They give you generous portions and they are very well priced. I had the beef and broccoli, jalapeño chicken, half fried rice, half chowmein and it was all delicious and not dry like Panda Express! We also had the veggie egg rolls and cream cheese wontons and they were crispy and delish! On top of all of that the lady who was working was so sweet and personable! Looks are deceiving... want to post zero stars but it said I have to post one ..its great first time we went....The second time I ordered the same won ton soup to share with my mom...and the chicken was undercooked, soap on the bok choi and a hair in pork won ton.... I went there the first time since the ownership has changed. The selection of dishes was very limited, but I decided to try it anyway. I paid via credit card and later I received an email for the receipt. Well, I was charged $2.36 for a tip without my agreement. Oh, and they also forged my signature. Friendly owner and really clean new looking. The owners of this establishment make you feel welcome the moment you walk in and as a customer I highly appreciated their service. Food is Panda Express style pick and choose. Nothing super mesmerizing in the quality to make it get the total 5 star but at the same time for a quick pick up Chinese joint it's pretty good compared to them fancy overpriced places that offer terrible food that you wait for a long time on.
