I was not happy with my nails after leaving this place. I showed a picture of the design I wanted to the nail tech, only to be met with something completely different. It started with an argument about cutting my nails down. I requested to have them cut short, and the nail tech kept insisting that she will only "trim" them. I requested short as one of my nails is crack deep and will continue to crack unless cut and filed down. The design I showed them looked like it was done with cat eye silver glitter and chrome. The nail tech painted my nails with a stark white and added a chunky glitter top coat. Even then she kept arguing with me after I asked for a second layer of the glitter as it didn't look like anything was added to my nails. There was no shape made to my nails. Another nail tech came to the design and add the chrome powder. During clean up the original tech took off some of the chrome with the acetone and didn't bother to fix it. I paid $120 for a mani/pedi for my nails look sloppy and nothing like what I asked for. read more

Hey so I recently went to this nail salon and I was very disappointed. I don't recommend going her my friends nails are already chipping and it hasn't even been a week this really upsets me because I paid $60 for a set that was terrible. Also I was a little upset because the lady before me got a hand massage and I didn't I understand that that's not what I came for but still and also the lady was on her phone majority of the time. It definitely isn't the place you want to go to. My friend's cuticles were bleeding. The got she had kept saying happy birthday but she told him it wasn't her birthday and he kept saying happy birthday and we felt like he a was doing it to aggravate her. Just got these done yesterday and they're horrible. I had to ask him to cut my cuticles like wtf. He didn't prep my natural nails at all he just started drilling them and gluing the tips on. The acrylic/dip powder looks cheap. I paid 85 for these dumps and I should've just told them to snip them off. They're very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable as f. All the technicians kept standing over my shoulders watching him do my nails and laughing. If I could rate this a -1000 I would. TRUST ME: DO NOT COME HERE!! If I could leave 0 star on this place, I would. Worst service I've ever seen in over 20+ years of getting my nails professionally done. I brought my daughter here to get a manicure and pedicure for her birthday cruise coming up this week for her as a little birthday gift. We walked in and my daughter walked over to the massage chair to get her pedicure. She then texted me (she didn't want to be rude in front of the lady doing her nails) that the water was ice cold. I told her to ask them if they could warm up the water and she was completely ignored. Disgusted, I went to calm down and walked out, then went next door to Bealls to shop for the trip coming up for a few minutes. When I came back to my daughter, I was in absolute shock. Her legs were cut up and her nails were horrendous. I asked my daughter what happened and she said the lady put burning hot stones and towel on her leg. Then she continued to roughly exfoliate her legs way too much which caused extreme redness and burning for her legs. (Later that day my daughter took a shower, when she got out she told me her legs burned and needed aloe or a cream to help with the burning.) The lady then continued to cut her toe nails WAY to short and she had marks and bleeding from the work done. My daughter continued to tell me that even when she asked if them to be gentle or even flinched, the lady ignored her and continued to work. I then asked my daughter what happened to her nails because at the time they were completely red. She said the lady was watching a K-drama show while doing her nails, not even paying attention to her. She then continued to file them unevenly and screw up the length, shape, and colors. My daughter continued to ask if she could be a little more gentle and again the lady was rude and ignored her, watching her show. The nails turned out horrible. You could see cuticles, the acrylic didn't even cover up the whole nail, and by the time she was done they were already crumbling off. When she was done, my daughter then told me that she was in extreme pain and needed them removed. We went back less than 10 minutes later and asked to get them removed and the staff was yelling back and forth at each other disrupting other customers and being rude to my daughter. The lady continued to tell my daughter that they were "pretty" and she will wear them. My daughter asked profusely to get them off and they would just keep telling her no. I finally said to staff that we will have them taken off and the lady eventually said "fine." The woman that did her nails then started almost insulting my daughter saying, "Your wide nail bed was the problem, I just made them thinner like normal" and "You take up our time when we could have been done a while ago." When she was taking off the nails my daughter looked at me and I could tell she was in extreme pain. The lady then continued to watch her show right in front of me. When she was finally done, she looked at my daughter and sarcastically said "Thanks for coming." My daughter was very polite and this lady was very rude back. I asked for a refund and they said that the work was acceptable before and I wouldn't needed a refund even after I had them removed. I will NOT be coming back here again. I scheduled an appointment for a gel pedicure with white polish today. I arrived and was immediately seated. Upon meeting the technician, a young Spanish girl with bangs, she was IMMEDIATELY rude to me. I told her that the water in bowl for my feet was too hot and insisted I put them in there before she cooled it down. She then proceeds to start the pedicure, and not a single step of the process was correct. She applied lotion on me before even cutting my cuticles! When she did cut my cuticles, she cut two toes so deeply they began to bleed, and she painted right over it after applying a blue antiseptic that burnt. She completely ignored the mistake. Then when my service was over and she went to charge me, the card system was malfunctioning and she said louder than necessary that my card declined. I have more than sufficient funds to pay for the service. Luckily another employee can over and had me Zelle the business because of the error in the system, and the girl rolled her eyes. I will NOT be returning because of this amateur's entitled and disrespectful attitude. read more

The WORST gel manicure I've ever had in the last 15+ years of nail care. Jenny was my technician and was terrible. Not only was the work sloppy, my nails were filed unevenly and she cut my cuticles to where they are sore. There's no attention to detail and she just slopped on the gel and got it all over the tips of my fingers and cuticles. Instead of cleaning the nails or trying to make a clean job, she kept cutting my skin and trying to file to fix. There are also tons of air bubbles in the gel. My husband recommended I go back and ask them to fix my mani but if this is what passes as acceptable to them, I'm better off going elsewhere. Such a waste of my money and time. read more

The manager provides great direction to his staff. The service here is great. One of the reasons I consider this salon the best is because of the way they treat individuals with disabilities. They are always pleasant and very accommodating. They offer extra attention to ensure the individuals are comfortable and always welcome them with a bright smile. This is very important when serving this population. The service and attention to detail would be my other reason for considering this salon the best. Not good. Not good at all. Lately there's just nothing worse to me than someone who rushes something that shouldn't be rushed. My nail technician was pushy and had a hard time understanding that I did not want the pedicure or my eyebrows waxed, I just wanted a gel manicure. She wasn't unpleasant but she was also a little short in her speaking. I chose a pale pink creamy color that ended up thick some areas and not in others. It is also in the crevice between the nailbed and the nail. This is an absolute no-no for a good manicure... hang on the best part is to come. While applying the paint in between the curing lamp instead of applying polish carefully she would scrape the excess off with her thumbnail in a very painful way, it seemed as though she was doing this to remove the excess paint as well as move the cuticle. I don't remember ever having such a painful manicure. I won't be back. UPDATE: I now have an infection on one of my fingers from this deplorable manicure that I received. I was hesitant when I was searching a nail salon nearby after reading the reviews but I was in a hurry to get in for a pedicure. I called and they had an opening. They also had quite a clientele inside as well. Everyone seemed happy and relaxed. The mood was nice. 2 TVs on the wall for you to enjoy. My nail tech was Jennifer and she was phenomenal. She spent almost a full hour on my gel pedicure. Massage was so nice and relaxing. She made sure I was comfortable at all times. I wasn't planning on getting a manicure but seeing the detail she did on my toes I couldn't say no. My gel manicure was just as fabulous. No issues with the gel at all. Very professional. I have been going to this salon for 5+ years and always had a great experience in the past. However, they changed owners recently and all of the experienced nail techs except one (Tia) all quit or were fired. I've been 4 times since the new owners took over, and several different inexperienced nail techs assigned to me. One of them was very rough and cut me and didn't even realize she did it until I said something. The next one would have cut the skin under my nail with her nail clippers if I didn't yank my hand away (she had no idea what she was doing). The last time I asked for Tia because she is the only tech left over from before the ownership change and the only one who knows what she's doing. Most regulars realize this, so she is very booked up and it is very difficult to get an appointment with her now. It is really a shame what has happened to this salon because they used to have a number of friendly and experienced nail techs there (Jenny, Amy, Tina, John, and Eric, the owner). They are all gone now and new techs are very young girls who don't know what they're doing!!! read more

I'm so happy I finally found a great nail salon in this area! My experience was wonderful at HN Nails. Eric made me feel very welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I had a 60 minute pedicure along with full set of pink and white nails and some facial waxing. Eric did an awesome pedicure on me. He always made sure I was comfortable and he was very thorough with doing my pedicure, making sure my feet were cleaned up and nicely smooth all over! He uses great products too that smell lovely! He even did a pretty flower design on my toes, which he is super good at doing designs. John did an excellent job on my nails, he didn't rush which I love and he was fun talking with too! The whole staff were really friendly! I left the salon feeling so pretty and relaxed! I'm excited to go back there and see my new nail friends! read more

Amy, who does permanent make up inside this shop is a total scam artist and the owners just watched it happen. I had an appointment, she was 30 minutes late. She had previously discussed pricing with my mother and had agreed on a price as my mom had been going to her aunt for years at that shop before the new owners came in. Upon arrival she tries to charge me $100 more then what she had agreed to as well as what her and I had communicated about just 3 days before when booking the appointment. I feel sorry for the women who are too nice to say anything and she just takes their money with no remorse. I demanded a refund for the gift certificate my mother bought me for my birthday to get this done and thankfully the shop owner agreed. What a scam, low life woman. Best pedicure I have ever had. Friendly and professional. I will not be going anywhere else! I started working in the plaza at Luxe Hair design and randomly went in for a walk in pedicure . They got me in right away and ever since whenever I need to be worked in they always take care of me and never a long wait. They do not rush with the massage and the "basic" pedicure is comparable to a deluxe pedicure in other salons. read more

This salon now has new owners, I'd been going here for 4 years now and have seen it deteriorate however it has gotten even worse. It is in dire need of updating as well as a good cleaning! Nail product bottles all brown and dirty with dried acrylic and that's just the beginning. I've only stayed as long as I did because my nail gal really tried to do the best she could, she was nice and I felt bad for her. Now the prices have been raised and they continue to make you feel rushed. There used to be a TV however the new owners have removed that and all I get to look at now are gross dirty bottles of nail polish in front of my face on the wall. I've even noticed that the quality of product has deteriorated. My nails lift within days where as they never used to. Unfortunately I can no longer ignore the standards of the salon which are now sub par at best. I've found a new facility that fits my standards completely. If the owners happen to read this, there's a lot of competition out there nearby, if you're going to have those prices your facility needs to step it up big time. read more

I have been going to the owner for 6 years to get my nails done, he opened this salon over a year ago. He takes care of his customers ALWAYS. If you chip or break your nail, he will have someone fix it for free! He also has punch cards for visits and specials if it is your birthday! The pedicure spa sinks are clean and protected with a NEW bag each use, so you know you are not getting anyone else's germs. He also uses new and clean kits every time.
