For background, I got several quotes for a 29 steps stairway flooring project and potential vendors either didn't respond after initially reaching out or the companies never responded after stating they would provide quotes when asked. That wasn't the case for VM Flooring. They were very communicative from the beginning. I also experienced vendors stating the job would take 1-3 days whereas VM flooring took about a week and 3 days. Why? Because they focus on quality, the details and not rushing. I can only imagine how terrible the end result would have been had I gone with vendors who said the 29 step stairway project would take less than a week. I was also able to buy my materials directly from VM Flooring which made things easier as well. I've worked with companies that outsourced the work to non experts in the field and it's been a disaster. This company keeps everything in house: who you see come to do the work are the ones who will actually do the work. Anatoly completed my stairway, he is a genius, and a true expert in the field, licensed and bonded. Be weary of individuals who come to complete the quote for any project, and then on the day the project starts, you never see the person again, as they outsource the labor to non experts. I would work with Jack and Anatoly in a heartbeat because of several reasons: they treated my home with care, even my anxious cat loved them, were safe (texted me whenever someone they didn't recognize came to the home), made sure the door was locked (texted me), and just so amazing to work with throughout the week and a half. I cannot recommend VM flooring enough and this is my second time working with them! Please note I bought flooring from them before and I worked with them again because they are that good. We wanted to rip up the carpet, and restore or replace the hardwood underneath. We were on a super tight timeline to move in and get all the work done. Tony not only worked around all of our other contractors schedule but did all the work in such a high quality manor. I've been so impressed with how the floors turned out it feels like I'm in a completely different house. Tony was so nice and responsive, and he also took the time to salvage and piecework wood flooring planks that couldn't be saved so we could save as much money as possible. Great quality and friendly service…read more Our re-flooring was part of our house remodeling project to replace carpet floor with hardwood though out the house, footage was about 2,500sf including two stories and stairs. Hesam and his team was very professional. Hesam promptly came in our house with measurement and estimate of materials and labor, low priced and honest. Hesam helped us to select solid hardwood floor that matched up with small part of our existing hardwood floors. The hardwood floor materials (floorings, reducer and stair nose) are high quality made in USA. The service team lead by Leo were very talented, friendly and hard working. They were very efficient from hauling the old carpets, well preparing the floor (fixing weak and squeaking spots) before installation, I really appreciate the craftmanship of installation, specifically the stairs and seamless flushing of all the transitions between the hard wood and existing floor bases (entrance marble, existing hardwood floors, three ceramic bathroom floors and the exit to our sunroom) which made the whole floor looked so beautiful through out the house.

I did my research and ended up strongly preferring higher-end laminate over LVP and hybrid options. Andro provided a competitive quote, and was very clear and straightforward to work with. I personally have a strong preference for people who are NOT trying to smooth-talk me OR tell me how they are giving a special price 'just for me'. So the fact that Andro never for a second tried to BS me on anything, is a massive plus. There was no ambiguity about what is included and what is not. The flooring brand he works with is good quality and had a lot of variety. We took our sweet time in deciding. I would definitely recommend doing one's own research in type of flooring you want, quality and price range you are good with, and getting comfortable with what you decide. We looked at options from home depot, lowes, floor & decor, as well as a couple of local stores -- and pretty much covered the spectrum of quality and price. We did end up going with the brand Andro partners with. They have a showroom/office nearby and made it easy to take as many samples as we wanted. We tried a variety of them at home, in different lights, saw how things coordinated with other existing flooring, etc. It was a bit embarrassing when I went back there to return the pile of samples I had borrowed, but hey, we were being thorough! The installation was quick and efficient, and the flooring fit and finish looks super-professional! The installer who works for Andro has 10+ years of experience and did a good job distributing patterns and planning the cut-lengths well across the bedroom and walk-in closet. He also fixed a minor issue that was discovered in a corner of the room after the carpet was removed. By the way, we did not have a leveling problem in the floor, so no additional sub-floor leveling was needed. There was a bit of a hiccup as the guy made an error when caulking the re-attached baseboards. But Andro made things right without any hesitation. Not only was the caulking cleaned and re-done but Andro went beyond that and had his guy do some additional work too. It is very important to see how someone reacts when something goes wrong, and he checked an important box! Andro stands out in the crowd for his quality of work, good communication, no bs or upsell, and focus on making sure the customer is happy!

Carlos was easy to work with and guided us every step of the way. Communication was clear throughout the entire process, and there were no surprises. The best part of the experience was the install and the install team. Manny and his crew absolutely crushed it. We had an issue with an unlevel floor, and they took the time to add self-leveling compound to fix the problem the right way. We also have a ridiculous amount of stairs -- 34 total -- that were previously covered in carpet, and they now look amazing. Manny and his team were excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend.
