    Butterfly latte and cappuccino
    Jorge R.

Cappuccino was very strong and bitter, not my preference for a milky coffee but whatever. Butterfly latte had no taste and watered down. At least the latte art is pretty, but that's not enough for me

I didn't try their coffee here, but the roasted vegetable bowl was incredible. The flavors were unreal and it all paired together quite nicely. We got another bowl to share that was good but not as flavorful as the roasted vegetable. I may come back during the trip here. We also loved the blueberry muffin- the almond flavoring was great!

    Chocolate croissant, so good!!

Great service, delicious food, healthy options, awesome atmosphere! My brother and I loved it and will be back! Only thing we didn't like was everything bagel was dense and lacked flavor, didn't distract from the experience but we ate only half the bread. One of the best chocolate croissants I've ever had, sweet sugar granules on top!

Conveniently located close to where I was staying. Stopped by to get some breakfast and a much needed coffee. - Egg Breakfast sandwich - this was my fault for not fully reading into it it is just eggs on a croissant. Which to many im sure is delicious, but I was expecting a little more in it for the price. - Latte - it was good but not strong enough They have seating inside and a couple of seats outside. What I really appreciate is the hot sauce selection! So many options that go well with a breakfast sando! Overall good place, but for the prices I was very surprised. Had to double check my location and make sure im not in California. :)

Our Airbnb was a 5 minute walk to this place making it very convenient to stop here for coffee and a quick bite before a day of sightseeing. We ordered lattes for our caffeine fix, a breakfast sandwich, and a quiche. The lattes were excellent. I ordered mine with caramel so it was on the sweeter side, but definitely worth a try. My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich, the one she ordered only had egg and cheese on it, she didn't realize it, they are very generous with the egg and the sandwich is delicious, but my partner tends to get sick when she eats too much egg. I got the Quiche Lorraine, It was a very generous piece of Quiche. It was tasty and filling, it kept me full for most of the day. They also have a huge selection of hot sauce, it was nice to pick a few and try new ones that I hadn't seen before. This place was pretty busy, but they got the orders out fast. If you're in the area and in need of caffeine, stop by here.

HiVolt is one of the coffee places we tried during our visit to New Orleans and we are glad we found it! They have lots of unique breakfast sandwiches and pastries to choose from and I got the breakfast burrito and it was giant and so good. I really appreciate the various amounts of hot sauces you can choose from too. The iced latte I tried was also very good and I would definitely go back again.

This is coffee. They serve it. It is good.

Friendly little coffee/bake shop. Great sandwiches and pastries. Quick service, worth a stop.

    The burrito

It has been forever since my husband and I went searching out a new breakfast place to try. We were actually looking for a breakfast tortilla place (being from south Texas we had a craving) this looked very promising. Went early before 8am -definitely would not have found it without know it was there. Once there I changed my mind on the burrito and went for the poached Eggs ! I poached eggs. Spouse got the burrito which is HUGE and very yummy ! The muffin was tasty and my coffee superb. Love the inside high ceilings funky lights nice layout. Bus your tables when done. Outside eating also available. Only Recommendation is have salsa on side or over by hot sauce table -there was a hot sauce for everyone's taste. Recommend and will be back. Can see where it would get busy probably a neighborhood favorite l.

This place is right around the corner from where I'm staying. Walked over in a Monday morning - outside seating available and a decent amount of indoor seating. Walk up to the counter to order. Lots of artwork inside on the walls. Very eclectic. The person taking orders at the counter was very nice and pleasant. Many coffee and espresso options. Pastries and quiche in the case. They offer sandwiches, bowls, etc. I got a bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit. Decaf iced latte with vanilla. I got it to go as I was working at home for the day. Got it home and the sandwich was still piping hot. Coffee was very tasty. About $15 after a tip.

Super place open for breakfast and lunch that offers substantial and yet healthy items that make you feel noble after a late night partying. Everything very fresh and well seasoned. Great coffee and pastries. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

    Good Morning Vietnam

Good Morning Vietnam breakfast sandwich was insane. Jalepenos, carrots, cucumber, sriracha mayo, egg and sausage, cilantro. Spicy and fresh and savory all at once.

HiVolt is one of my favorite coffee shops ever! I come here religiously when I'm in town. They have awesome snack and drink options. The cacao smoothie is an absolute treat. There's something on the menu for everyone and the space is artfully designed and inviting. Do yourself a favor and stop in when you're in the area to caffeinate!

Ambiance is amazing but also not so much lol. We had a shirtless and homeless drug addict next to us for about 3 minutes and no one seemed concerned enough to ask him to leave. He had been talking to his imaginary friend. Just wanting to enjoy breakfast, I did have a fun topic to explain to my kids. The bennys were delicious like I said. Hot and ready to eat. It was worth the walk! YOU NEED CASH!!!! They have an ATM there but it's still an inconvenience. I'm going to leave a 4 star for 2 reasons. 1. It's 2026....take cards lol. I like the old school vibes, but it's a pain and cost me more money to get cash. 2. At least ask the homeless dude to leave....I'm trying to eat and he's 6 feet from my family and tweaking out. It's your property, you CAN ask them to leave. It's a lack of interest by the business. Other than that, I had a fantastic time. 100% recommend.

The iced London Fog lattes I discovered are premade, which overall my wife thought was alright, but she liked that they had gluten free blueberry muffins. The chocolate croissant was solid. Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.
