The regular bourbon lived up to everything that put this distillery on my map in the first place. But the real surprise of the day? The gin. I'll be honest -- I wasn't expecting much. But this gin is unlike anything I've tasted. It has earned a permanent spot in my home bar for those occasional gin martini nights. And if you have any love for espresso martinis, do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle of their coffee liqueur. It's exceptional. After the tasting, our group headed upstairs to the bar -- which, by the way, is open to everyone, no tour required. We ordered an espresso martini, a gin martini, and a meringue-tini. Each one was distinct and impressive in its own right. The bar staff couldn't have been better -- they had a real knack for highlighting each spirit in a way that spoke directly to your taste buds.
