Stayed at this Hilton Garden this week. The rooms are well appointed -- no complaints. The service is good as well. What I didn't like is the noise from traffic -- the windows face a major freeway. I also had serious complaints about breakfast. 1. If you charge $14 for breakfast and $140-150 for the room, please at least provide fresh cream for coffee. Is that too much to ask for? No, the little cheapo cream packets worthy of a $30 motel won't do. 2. The guys who makes the eggs butchers it . . . please either teach him how to do it or ask if he cares -- I didn't sense either. 2nd review. The stars have dropped! I had a lovely room on the 2nd floor. The staff was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately I am on the 2nd floor. It sounds liked a heard of elephants above me. The hotel is full, so moving is not an option. I'll now be moving to another hotel for my second nights stay. I don't think it is the hotels fault, but I'm not a person who can be woken up by a heard of elephants early in the morning. Especially when I'm paying 200 dollars night for the privilege. read more

This is the nicest Hilton Garden Inn I've stayed at. Functionally it's just the same as all the others, except that it has *every* feature that any other HGI has, all in one place! There's the breakfast buffet (a reasonable $10.95 here as opposed to 14.95 elsewhere), pool, fitness room, guest laundry, and front-desk cookies, and everything seems fresh and new. What tipped me over the edge for writing a review, though, is the fact that I walked into my room this evening and the window was open! At first I thought they'd turned on a nature soundtrack, but there's actual nature out back of the hotel! (This was a pleasant shock given that the front faces the interstate and the driveway runs through an ugly strip mall.) And there are screens on the open-able windows so you can enjoy it! Also notable are the plentiful parking (including underground so no one has to walk too far), nearby walking trail and park, and extra-helpful breakfast waitstaff. It's a pleasant surprise to have expectations exceeded at a chain hotel! read more

We booked a one night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bothell, to attend a training conference nearby. From start to finish we were delighted with our stay. Mary at the front desk helped us correct an error in our room rate in our favor and hand carried breakfast vouchers to our room. The warm cookie was wonderful. Our room was immaculately clean and felt fresh and ready for us. The hot tub upgrade was wonderful after several hours of training. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've seen. Plenty of fresh fruits and bread options. We started with oatmeal (lots of toppings available). One of the wait staff approached us and asked if he could be of assistance, then brought gluten free bread for my toast. A waitress came to the table and took our order from the grill. The breakfast team was on point and proactive the entire time. We will be back in October! read more

My sister and I recently had a great stay at this particular Hilton. The staff was very accommodating and personable, the room was spotless, and the location is great due to all the restaurant options conveniently located next door (The Outback, Bone Fish, Jack in the Box, Arby's and a few more). We stayed in a king suite which was nice because the sitting area & bedroom was separated by a small kitchenette (w/ a Keurig coffee maker) and the bathroom. We were very comfortable all in all but I do have a few things to point out such as the noise level - it's true the hotel is quiet but if you like to sleep w/ your window slightly open then you might want to ask for a room that doesn't have a window facing 405. Also, we saw a sign in the elevator that said you could adjust the beds to your personal comfort level but there was zero info about it in the room and the employee we asked knew nothing about it. There is a great underground, single level parking garage that is lit w/ plenty of light and you can only get in the door leading to the hotel elevators with your room key card so it was safe and secure. However, because it's only one level, it fills up fast so if you get in late you might be parking outside for the night. Lastly, our Keurig didn't work and I had bought a box of K-cups because I love my morning coffee but luckily I have a Keurig so they won't go to waste :) I would have to say it's probably the nicest hotel in the area but it is somewhat of a hidden treasure because its tucked away behind The Outback Steakhouse so don't be discouraged if you don't immediately find it; once you find it you won't be disappointed! read more

I have stayed in many hotels, some extremely good and others not so great. This Hilton is one of the best I have ever stayed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have character! The manager Amy and the front desk attendant Brian are fabulous and always so gracious! I will teach some Qi Gong to Brian when I get back into town! The bartender Sean is just awesome too. I have stayed here couple of times whenever I fly in from Palm Springs. Never an issue with booking and the rooms always tidy, clean and smelling refreshing! Keep it up you guys! Great experience! It's a beautiful hotel, friendly service there are some great restaurants in the same plaza and the front desk gave us coupons for the restaurants nearby. Cleaning service is on point. They also have a shuttle service that may be closed on Sunday's but it's nice during the week. :) read more

We stayed here a couple of nights ago and tonight. The rooms are clean and bright and modern. Good size rooms with tv mini fridge and microwave. Right off of 405 which connects to i5 north or south. Seems far from seattle but it isn't unless you are traveling during rush hour. We are locals to this area and very highly recommend this hotel. Lots of good restaurants nearby inc outback bonefish and grazie. Enjoy ! read more

This would have been a 5 star review if they hadn't made continual mistakes in billing. We stayed here three nights over a holiday period. The Good: very nice room of adequate size, modern, very comfortable, clean, quiet, free wi-fi. I was especially impressed with the quietness because they had several sports teams (high school?) staying there. Management seemed to be aware of the need to segregate the boisterous, noisy team members from the rest of the guests and that was smart (and very appreciated). The Bad: even with my driver's license in his hand, the clerk tried to check us in under my brother's name (who had already arrived and checked in). I reserved and prepaid a room with a King size bed. My brother and his wife reserved and prepaid a room with two Queen beds. They'd arrived earlier than we did and (I discovered later) had already had a hassle with being given the wrong room (king bed). It took longer than it should have to get this straightened out because the clerk didn't seem to be able to remember any detail from one moment to the next; if he got one thing straight, he messed up something else, over and over again. Even after I thought it was finally straightened out and we'd taken the elevator up to our room, we discovered it was wrong (queen vs. king bed), so we had to drag our suitcases back down to the lobby and go through it all over again. The only good thing to come of all this was that the manager had been nearby (within hearing distance) while all this, including the trip back down, had occurred. A few minutes after we finally got to the right room, she knocked on our door, apologized profusely, and gave us free passes for breakfasts for the length of our stay. Their breakfast (more about that later) is $10.95 so that was a very nice comp. However, it turns out that the billing was still messed up and my sister-in-law had to waste more time going over the same things again and again with them. I don't know if she was dealing with the same young-ish male clerk (who seemed to be wearing a constant frown every time we walked past him) but, if so, he deserves to be fired. More Good: their buffet breakfast is far better than most, including cooked-to-order omelettes, meats, etc., waffles, lots of different juices, bagels, muffins, cereals, a large variety of breads, rolls, fruits, etc. Service for the custom orders was very prompt and our coffee cups were refilled numerous times by smiling people who seemed to care. Summary: Pricey but nice if they could only hire desk clerks who weren't idiots. read more

I want to first start off by saying it was a really nice hotel. With that said I did not use that many amenities while I was there. But I did take a free newspaper every day in the morning that was a nice feature. But the reason I did not give five stars was because I didn't use much there to be able to give a more detailed review. But we did get breakfast there which was not a free Continental breakfast which was disappointing with the price of the room. But for a waffle which we made ourselves and a small glass of juice and a small Danish which we got ourselves it was 16 bucks. So after that one time we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel any more. But the rooms were nice and they have a knob on each side of the bed to custom set how soft or firm you wanted it. I'm old fashion I like a traditional mattress. We had our wedding celebration here and can't say enough about what a fabulous job the whole staff did to make such a great event! From the initial planning to the evening of our party, everyone one was so fun to work with. Crystal, the Catering & Sales Manager had such great ideas & was so easy to work with, Jay, the bartender & audio/visual guy was also helpful with making our slideshow a hit & made really good drinks. Christina was so helpful with all the details of signage & our guests reservations. Finally, Peter, the chef odd an excellent job with our food choices, keeping it filled & going all night long. The value for all we got was unbelievable & doesn't come close to other wedding venues which are so pricey. read more

New hotel. Clean room. Great service. Good breakfast at reasonable price - pricier if you have more people. Accessible laundry room at $2 per wash or dry (30 min). I've mostly stayed at embassy suites, but this place being newer trumps it. I wish restroom was quieter so I didn't hear toilet or shower while sleeping. read more

I gave this two stars because the staff was friendly and the room was clean. The free underground parking was a nice touch also. Other than that, it's not been a very good stay. It's 1AM and there is a loud group of people in the rooms surrounding me, going in and out of their rooms and yelling and being otherwise obnoxious. I called the front desk and asked them if they could ask them to be quiet. I was told that if they are 'in their rooms' that there is nothing they can do. On top of the noisy occupants of the adjacent rooms, the 405 freeway is just outside my room window. Trucks and cars are loud enough that they can be heard over the sound of the TV. I chose this hotel because other visitors had given it good ratings for being clean and quiet. Clean I can go along with, but quiet. Not so much.t My next stay in this area will be at a different hotel. Edit to add: I just checked out after listening to the madness for over an hour. When I went downstairs to the front desk at 1:30AM and informed them I was checking out, attendant there acted surprised, but to her credit, she removed the charge for tonights stay from my bill. I noted when I signed the credit card statement that she had noted on my receipt that I had checked out early because of a 'Noisy Wedding Party'. Seriously? A wedding party? This group was in both rooms across from me, and apparently in both rooms on either side of me. They had their doors propped open, and music playing fairly loud, and were mostly just mingling in the hallway,, being quite festive (read: Loud and obnoxious). One other thing I wanted to note here. The 'Free High Speed Internet' might be free, but it isn't high speed. It's fine for browsing the web, as long as you aren't downloading files or viewing image/video heavy sites. I tried to watch some youtube videos on my laptop, and found they wouldn't download fast enough to watch them without buffering. I tested the speed using speedtest.net in my browser and was getting about 80k (yes, that's a small 'k'), which is ridiculous in this day and age. I tested both the wifi and wired connections and had the same speed result. Thankfully, I had T-Mobile LTE BroadBand Device, which did give me good service (about 20Meg). read more

This place is located not too far off from the freeway which is very convenient, and I didn't think there was much freeway noise from our room, which of course is a plus when you're trying to have a relaxing weekend. I think it's a great mini getaway for a weekend because there are a lot of restaurants/stores near by that you can check out while you stay there. Thanks to my sister, the fianc & I had the opportunity to stay in a suite with a king size bed and two person jacuzzi. I found the room to be very clean and spacious! (And come on, can't complain about a jacuzzi in your room ;) ) We pulled a "Ross" by checking out pretty close to noon, and just headed home so we didn't really take the opportunity to check out the hotel's restaurant. Looks like it would've been some decent food, so maybe another time :) read more

Hilton Garden Inn is pretty consistent across all properties, and I always enjoy my stay. This location is no different. I must give them kudos, though, for having a bright and cheerful staff. I also liked this location based on the variety of restaurants and even a grocery store in walking distance. It's always great to be able to run to the store and pick up a few things you may have forgot to pack for your trip. It's also nice to be able to grab a meal in a pinch near the hotel after a long day around town. read more

Nice hotel and nice rooms, we stayed there on our wedding night. I rate it 2 stars because I left a few items behind, including the earrings I wore at my wedding and they claim to have never found them. I understand that they are not responsible for items left behind, it's just unfortunate that means they don't have to give me back anything they find in my room. read more

We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn/Bothell thanks to Paul who checked us in & made are stay great! We arrived late & he made it smooth & easy. There are several restaurants in the area, some even walking distance. They have a shuttle if you need to go somewhere nearby (ex: grocery store, ect) There is an all you can eat breakfast for $12.95 til 10am weekdays or 11am on weekends. The area is greats lots of things nearby to do. All of the staff was great & very helpful. read more

Worst experience i've had to deal with regarding a Hilton. To begin I'm a business traveler that have frequently traveled to Seattle/Redmond area for the past 8 years. Ive been a loyal Hilton member since 2003 and since then ive achieved Diamond status enjoying many of the perks that comes along with it. While in Seattle my hotel of choice is Hilton Bellevue where the staff there is like a second family so I love Hilton. During a May visit Ive had a last minute business meeting and hotel availability was limited, therefore I booked a number of hotels with Hilton Garden Inn being one of them because the rates were so high I knew my client would have issue with the bill. During setting reservations I was emotionally all over the place as my Mom was ill. Long story short I canceled all the hotels (including Hilton Garden Inn - Bothell) as I stayed at a HILTON closer to the airport. I had to cut my trip short as my mother fell ill and past away later the following week. Needless to say with the passing of my mother my mind was all over the place so I never noticed that Hilton Bothell charged me a "no show" for $314.32 on 5/22. I called and spoke with Mary (MOD) @ Hilton Garden Inn to get this reversed because Ive thought be it ive spent well over 1 million between my bookings and my colleagues bookings they would excuse a $314.32 no-show charge. Mary whom I first spoke with told me that I would need to contact Expedia since this is where the charge came from and if they were okay they could call themselves and request Hilton to remove the charge. I called Expedia and spoke with a gentlemen that stated it was Hiltons responsibility, he placed me on hold and called the hotel, me thinking to my self "well Mary was pretty helpful and seemed to want to resolve this" I informed the Expedia rep to request Mary the MOD (Manager on Duty). The rep came back and told me Mary refuse to reverse the charge. I immediately in disbelief called back and sure enough Mary said there was nothing that she can do because they could not see my cancellation online. As much money that Ive given to Hilton from my year end stays in Puerto Rico (Caribea Hilton, DoubleTree) to my stays in Mexico (Hilton Garden Inn Monterrey Mexico) to New York (Hilton East Side), to Seattle (Hilton - Bellevue) to many other states and countries, this is the thanks I get? I am now going back to Marriott just booked my first week with them , since the passing of my Mom my travel will pick back up. Very good business travel hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of free parking. The room was very clean and comfortable. The workout facilities and pool seemed nice although I forgot to pack correctly so I didn't get to use either. We travel a lot, and this was a very pleasant surprise. It is a first rate operation, clean, well run and convenient. We were there for 5 nights. Great indoor pool. Underground parsing available at no charge. One drawback is the lack of options for breakfast. The breakfast is $10.95 period. If you have the full boat, cooked to order eggs, meats, etc, $10.95. If you want granola and yoghurt, or just some fruit, $10.95. They should offer a light breakfast rate. The front desk staff was awesome, very responsive, as was the housekeeping staff. This is a great hotel! Very surprised with the. Quality of the room and bedding and common areas, but staff great as well. The breakfast orderig was a little confusing - is it sit down or buffet? This hotel is right on top the freeway. The walls are not thick. You can hear EVERYONE coming and going in the halls and especially when they SLAM their spring loaded doors. Maids are all up at 9am chattin in the halls. The bed literally gave my husband a back ache the entire next day. The pros are that there is a restaurant & bar inside the hotel. There are plenty of other choices within walking distance. Its a good place to stay if you're not planning on sleeping. read more

Whatever happened to treating customers with respect? After a long evening, my guest went to the hotel I had arranged for him and a long story about credit cards you rsvp with versus those with which you pay ensued. I was on the phone with the night manager who was "snarky" with me. I finally had to explain to him how to treat a customer correctly. He never apologized for the situation and told me what they needed to happen. He just wanted to toss Hilton's policy in my face. So, following his directions, I emailed a signed document to him allowing him to charge my card. This morning my client is being kicked out and charged for the room on his card. They say they never received my email. Well why didn't they call me back then? Fume. All they had to do was be kind and pro-active but they are apparently unable to be truly professional. My opinion? Try Courtyard. This would never have happened with them. Allow me to recap in this way: It is my experience that the card I use to rsvp for a client is used by the hotel and then I come in and sign them out and square away the tab. I would have gladly done whatever the hotel needed. The bottom line was that they never once stated what they wanted from me and their tone or posture was absolutely defensive. Not good business practices. IMHO. read more
