The front desk people are professional, courteous, and friendly at the same time. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area where one does not hear any outside noises. The breakfast is included, but the beds were so comfortable we didn't get up in time to try it. There's also a Chevron station with a mini Mart right next door, so if you feel like snacks or drinks, they are there. What kept them from getting five stars is a bunch of small things like stains on the carpet on the stairs, small tv, and only one night stand between the two beds which makes it inconvenient. The most important thing in a hotel is the quality of sleep, and because of that we will be back. read more

I was able to book a three night stay on the day I rolled into town without any notice which was nice. It was a very quiet in my room, as I didn't have any noise coming from nearby rooms or the freeway. The pricing wasn't bad, and they had an underground garage and parking in front of the hotel so I didn't have any issues finding a place to leave my ride, and I didn't have any concerns for the safety of my car. The bed was comfortable, and the room clean. It was a little hard to find the actual hotel even though it is right off the freeway. It's tucked just behind the Outback Steakhouse. There are also conveniently located restaurants nearby. An Outback, Bonefish Grill and a diner are all within walking distance. Now let's talk about that hallway carpet. They must have gotten a deal on it because it was horrific! I still can't decide if it looked like strips of bacon or a stream with gold in it which I should go panning for. We had such a fantastic stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was great. You know how sometimes, you can tell that people truly love their jobs? It seems like the people here are all like that: they all seemed to live making sure that we had a pleasant experience. Thanks to being on the back of the building, our room provided us with a truly tranquil experience: the green belt was peaceful, and very little noise from the nearby main thoroughfares. The location was convenient (definitely hop across the street to try some of the dining options!), and it was oh-so-easy to check in and check out. This was my second stay at this property and will be my last. The property is old and in dire need of upgrades. The AC/heaters take forever to respond and sound like a thrashing machine when operating. My room appeared clean until you get into the shower. There is visible mold on the ceiling with more staring to show through. All corners of the shower have mold. I could continue but take my word, it feels more like a cheap motel than any Hilton property I've seen, and I average 100+ nights a year. Even at check in you aren't offered water, which is always nice after a day of traveling but you can buy it in the room for $3. The breakfast is slow and not very good...I'll leave it at that. This property has the look and feel of being franchise owned and cutting every corner with disregard for the guests. There are better options just up the road that I'd highly recommend before coming here. read more

I want to preface by stating I did reach out to the GM TWICE, via email with no response. DO NOT STAY HERE. I checked into a jetted tub room and was given on on the forth floor. When I got into it the temp was 85 degrees, no one left the cooling set at a reasonable level. I started the a/c and decided to go out for dinner to kill some time. I was going to get dinner from your resturant and eat in, but needed to give room time to cool. When I returned with my dinner 45 mins later the room was still hot at 84%... I went downstairs and your clerk gave me a different room on the 2nd floor, 206. When trying to get this done and he was about to make the key, he took a call for a reservation for 2 rooms who wanted to arrive at 7am.. He took the call making me wait... He came up to my first room to let me in and verified the heat issue. I went to second floor and the room was cold---- BUT it was dirty. there was another lady waiting down at the desk who was given a dirty room, AND the room across from me had a family with dog and a luggage cart full of stuff waiting as there room was also DIRTY. So I went down again, and explained the dirty room. Your clerk was upset that the HK left without telling him what was done and not done. So he had no idea how many carryover rooms there were. Room 3 the only one available on first floor and was an ADA room right next to the fitness center. He offered 50 dollars off my bill... HOWEVER, when I checked the charges it was at 330! so when changing rooms he lost my discount, which should have been around 290 with tax. at 3am exactly, the fire alarm went off in the building for several minutes. at 330am (approx) the alarm went off again, for a short time. at 718am the alarm went off again, briefly. The elevators were down, forcing everyone outside and down the ramps to get to cars. *I did mention the night before to the desk agent when we rode up that is was struggling to stop on the floor, and the door was moving very slowly, indicators of an issue. read more

We stayed at this location for two weeks and really appreciate the service provided with great care and attention by managers and regular staff. Katie and Bre were super helpful and attentive to all our needs while our move from two rooms occupied for the first week of our stay in September,2024. Particularly, Katie, found the room at the same floor where we stayed, across the hall of my first room. And Bre, was so helpful with helping us to get everything we needed during our second week of stay. The cleaning staff was very professional and hardworking. I thought the room was decent but then the whole Breakfast buffet thing was terrible, food were so old and cheap, pastries looks like it has been sitting for days. Orders took forever and then having to wait more for the for condiments, a complete waste of time. Buffet itself was $16 dollars but there were no eggs, everything has to be ordered through one waitress. If you want pancakes it'll cost an extra $4 dollars or $17 dollars for waffles. I've stayed here twice, and my work is close, but so are other hotels and such. I wouldn't think once about staying anywhere else but here. The bartender/gal of all trades Monica takes amazing care of me when I'm there. But let me give you a great story, today was my last day before flying out and I checked out then went to work. After an hour or two I realized I'd stupidly left my Apple phone plugged into its charger in the other wing of the suite! Stupid me!!! I called them and they asked if they could send the free shuttle driver to my firm around 12 noon! "Of course, thanks so much," I said! I couldn't believe it. I didn't have to disrupt my work engagement and they secured it into an envelope and the firms receptionist watched out for him and I got my crazy-expensive watch back! I'm in love with this place. don't get me started on the clean rooms, great little kitchen and front desk staff! read more

In the last couple months I've stayed at at least six Hilton properties. This time it was a staycation to visit wine country for our birthdays. We got a mini suite here at the Garden Inn but it's a single very thin pull out loveseat. Very uncomfortable. I'll never stay in this hotel again. If you stay here, make sure that you don't get a room on the side of the highway. The trucks kept me up the entire night. I was told by someone at the front desk that they would give me a room on the other side when I got home from work the next day. When I came home from work, they told me they were sold out and were not able to switch my room. I had to wait for 10 minutes for the person on the front desk to get off a phone call only to tell me that he couldn't help me. I'll have another sleepless night this dump. I stayed here for business and was quite impressed with the facilities and service. The facility is very new. While the Fitness Center was small, the equipment was very new and machine selection was good. Each unit has an attached TV that hooks into a satellite feed so you can view what you like while you work out. The Front Desk staff was courteous and expedient with the check in process. It was nice that they pointed out the underground parking as it was pretty cold out. As in the other reviews, if it's your first time here, you do have to maneuver through the strip mall parking lot to get to the Front Lobby. Overall a good experience. read more

I had the pleasure of staying here for a nice length of time while working in Bothell. I couldn't have been at a better hotel. The entire staff is amazing. Covid-19 didn't stop them from being caring, professional, safe, and making me feel at home during my stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the food delicious and made to order, and the location is walking distance from everything! For the second time, my worksite used the meeting rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn located off of I-405 South in Canyon Park/Bothell, behind Outback Steakhouse (2/1/18). Note: I am only commenting on the meeting/catering services. Decent perimeter visitor parking. Friendly staff that directed us to the meeting room. Helpful staff member that assisted our new CEO to project presentation slides from a laptop. Comfy seating used for the presentation and the reception. Can't comment on the beer, wine, and beverage service afterwards because I stuck with water and a ginger ale. However, the catered buffet was delicious for the hungry masses...like me whose 530am breakfast and mocha at work long wore off! Nice selection of crudites, dips, cheeses, meats, wings, skewers, egg rolls, that I ran out of space for crackers and the salsa/chips area. Loved the assortment of desserts: fresh fruit, two kinds of cakes, and petite tartlets, chocolate/caramel wedges, and eclairs. (Updated: found out the cakes were from Costco!) I personally honed in on a slice of rich chocolate layered cake, a lemon tartlet, and a pistachio macaron. Just wished for the ability to have cold milk or a coffee. Sorry no photos...I ate everything due to my ravenous state and actually enjoyed this company function. Props for the catering staff...friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive. The staff here is INCREDIBLE!!! 10 STARS! Every one is very friendly, very helpful, and respond quickly to any issue. Rooms are pretty comfy, but definitely pay up for the suite. Bathrooms could use an upgrade though and why no 5 star rating and beds are just ok on comfort. They have a nice little bar area near the main entrance, it also serves as the restaurant setting for meals. Breakfast here is made to order, with Diamond members getting it for free. They do not offer a free happy hour but do give a discount on drinks before 6pm. Gym extremely small but equipped fine. Pool clean and ok. Terrible tasting Outback next door, with a nice diner called Crystal Creek Cafe you can walk to along with Bonefish Grill. Applebees, Arbys, Wendys, Pho, Subway, Jimmy Johns, and Chick Fil A close by. This hotel is our go to when in Bothell area!! read more

On a one day visit to Seattle, I was struck by the cost of close in lodging. For a modest price, this Hilton provides a very comfortable stay just 20 minutes north of the city. The building is constructed with quality materials. The beds have adjustable firmness controls that allowed me to get the support I was looking for. Temperature controls worked well. The shower head was a foot higher than my 6 feet 5 inch height. The spray was restricted but adequate. The line of neutrogenia bathroom products were a plus. The room was dark and quiet allowing a good nights rest. There is a nice little work out room with adjoining pool and hot tub. The lobby has a coffee, tea station as well as cookies and other treats at various times of the day. If it is convenient to leave the city, this place is a great value just minutes away. read more

I really appreciated this hotel. Most of the staff was great. Housekeeping was a bit pushy but they did decent work. Raychel at the front desk is amazing and always went above and beyond. I think the breakfast was over priced and underwhelming. The dinner offerings were quite nice and reasonably priced. The pool and fitness center were clean and accommodating. There is ample free parking and is very close to some shopping centers. It is a bit of a clip to Downtown Seattle even with good traffic but a very pretty dive. I would stay here again. read more

Overall, a great hotel: new, clean, great ambience, and desk staff were always helpful. If you have need of a hotel in the Bothell / Mill Creek area, this is pretty much as comfortable as you can get. Our family of 5 stayed here in one for the larger 'evolution suites' for about a week and It was great. PROS - good breakfast (not included in room price), close to other restaurants & other services, pool, decent gym for a hotel, super clean and free parking. On-site laundry, though, it takes several cycles for clothes to get dry. CONS - had to dock one star for the cleaning staff. In our suite, we had three beds: master and two pull outs for the kids. Everyday the master bed would be made, but the others would be left a mess. We inquired, and housekeeping told us they can, "only make up one bed per room." ??? Had to escalate to the General Manager to finally get all three made on our last day there. Also, we booked for a couple weeks not knowing how long we could stay. When we decided to leave a couple days early, housekeeping was constantly knocking on the door asking, "are you ready to leave now?" Felt like we were being pushed out of the hotel. read more

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member usually my "go to" chain of Hiltons is the Hampton Inn. However having experienced an amazing stay at another Hilton Garden Inn (Downtown Denver) and a bad experience at the Hampton Inn in Lynnwood I decided to give the Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Bothell a chance during a recent stay. It was a decision I don't regret! Given I visit the Seattle area at least 4 times a year to engage in some outlet shipping and visiting friends, I had watched this hotel built over the period of many visits. I will say for those that do not know the area the location can be rather difficult to get to. Especially if you do not turn in where the entrance to the strip mall is. Traffic can also make it a bit difficult during peak times as the area can be heavy with congestion. Upon arriving the front desk welcomed me warmly and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself upgraded to a corner suite. I was a bit nervous at first given the room faced the 405 but over the course of my stay did not have any difficulties at all with the noise. In fact I was so enamored with the particular room I was in that I will be requesting it from now on. Room 302 was a corner suite and the largest they have. In fact it includes 1 1/2 baths and is nestled at the end of a hallway near the back stairwell that was not widely used. Since I am a Diamond member I do get the breakfast buffet free of charge so I tried it out several times during my stay. The attendant was always very friendly and the service prompt. The fruit was fresh and several things made to order. The big test would be would I pay for it if it were not complimentary? Indeed I would. Additionally I found the housekeeping to be top notch. On one particular day I arrived back at my room and found housekeeping service the room. So as not to scare her I announced myself to let her know someone else was in the room with her. I was met by a very friendly staff member with a great sense of humor. When a housekeeping staff member tells you that they enjoy their job there that is a sign of a well run business. I didn't have time this go around to try out the exercise room. But given The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Bothell is now my "go to" hotel for all of my future stays in the Seattle area, I will be utilizing it in the future. Underground garage, accommodating and welcoming staff, clean grounds and rooms. What more could you ask for? It was just that good! read more

When we fly Seattle or to Bothell, which is about bi yearly, this is our choice for over a week to even a 3 week stay. This past 2.5 weeks, we were here and also a moderately physically handicapped relative also stayed here in a special room set up for visually handicapped. My only complaint here is not with his room , but the distance from the elevator to room 216; the room is down a long hall and around the corner of a shorter hall. Since he is 85 and walks slow, it took a while for him to reach his room. He liked the fact that his room had a walk in shower, a large bathroom and was ADA compliant. They also have other ADA compliant rooms ; some closer to the elevator. There are other hotels and also a longer staying choice close to this HGI ; here is what I like about this particular hotel: very helpful staff. The night desk man , Brian, had to deal with an irate customer during a fire alert that occurred during our stay. The fire alarms went off at about 2 am on a Saturday. Most people at the hotel , including a wedding party , went downstairs via the steps. As per the protocol, the fire department was called or they were alerted and were at the hotel quickly. There actually was no fire , but there was something that the fire department needed to check in one of the rooms . Since so many of the people had exited their rooms in a hurry ( the alarms are very loud ), many had left their keys in their rooms. The crux of it is not only did Brian handle this situation well, he felt so bad about people being inconvenienced by the alarm, he gave out free breakfast tickets in the lobby to those who wanted them . ( probably upper management wasn't pleased with this, I later heard from Brian). Having the fire alarm go off was upsetting to many , and some customers were upset with Brian. Frankly , he handled the very rare situation with a reassuring manner . He had to repeatedly tell patrons who called the front desk that this was not a fire, and try to reassure the disgruntled sleepy and some angry guests who were waiting for the " all clear" from the fire department . The whole event took less than an hour, from the start of the fire alarm to when we were allowed back in our rooms . Had this actually been a real fire, it would make sense for the ADA visually impaired room to be at a nearby exit closer to the stairs. When people are in stressful situations , some behave in ways they normally wouldn't . I give kudos to Brian in this high stress fire alarm situation, and am glad that it was not any real fire; but the man whose room was affected by a computer glitch was quite upset, and he took his anger out on Brian. As far as other staff , the morning staff who do the breakfast are all very helpful, and they appreciate a tip , just as any waiter or waitress would . One note here .. Some hotels have coffee set up all day long for customers. This is not the case ( though you can get coffee later, it's not complimentary ) This hotel usually will offer cold lemon or fruit water in the lobby , and breakfast service ends at 10 am weekdays, and 11 am on week ends. They do some catering of events and meetings, and apparently even wedding receptions and other social events and or business meetings. Let's talk about price . It's comparable in cost to the Marriott, and not much difference in price to the nearby Comfort brand hotel. There is a parking garage in the basement level , and I always felt safe parking there. It is very well lit. For people who are members of the rewards or the points program, depending on which level , HGI offers a complimentary full breakfast, with all kinds of choices of breakfast foods. If you aren't Hilton honors guests , the full breakfast here , currently , costs close to 13 dollars. A full breakfast could consist of eggs , omelettes, breakfast meats, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt etc. also waffles , pancakes , juice , coffee and typical breakfast breads. For a busy business person who is on an expense account , this may be a good deal . For a family with younger children, or those who want to go out for the morning meal , there is nearby a jack in the box , a nearby cafe, and down Bothell Everett highway , a nearby QFC food store with a Starbucks close by. The cafe is within walking distance. We like to get a junior suite so that we can have extra space and a comfortable small love seat can serve as an extra bed , if we need it. I like the bath soap provided by the hotel, but with Seattle being very earth friendly , I usually provide my own shampoo etc . Cleanliness and bed comfort are the two main things that I require of any hotel . We have never had issues at this hotel. We will be back ! read more

This hotel is a little hard to find at first, even though you can see it from the highway. You have to drive through the parking lot of a little shopping center to get there. They need to improve the signage from the main road. We got a junior suite because it was only $10 more and we really liked the layout. The sitting area is separate from the sleeping area which is really nice if one person wakes up in the middle of the night or gets up earlier than the other. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The only minor downside was that there was not really a table to sit at, just a coffee table. The staff is very nice and very helpful. Well-stocked little snack and sundries shop in the lobby. Free continental buffet breakfast and a great made-to-order breakfast for a little extra money, which is a nice option that many of these types of hotels do not have. Spent 2 nights here recently and was very unimpressed. A lot of the little things led up to this feeling. Both the sink and bath tub drained slow, the espresso machine downstairs didnt work, 2 of the 3 ladies I interacted with at breakfast seemed to hate their jobs, the iron in my room looked like it was from the mid 80's, I had to ask multiple times for creamer & coffee when normally these things would be easily accessible during morning hours.
