Really nice hotel in the Everett area. Tucked away near the Navy Base. Pricey per night, but it is a Hampton (Hilton). Nice spacious rooms with a comfy bed, large bathroom, and I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. **The only reason I am giving 3.5 stars is communication with the front desk. I had called a week before my reservation, along with when checking-in, on changing my form of payment; I sent photocopy of card ahead of time (along with a form Hampton sent me), and when I checked in, gave them the card and she took it back and photocopied it. . That night, I was still charged on the original card; when I confronted the front desk, they said they do not accept that form of payment. She works there everyday to ensure all food are nice and fresh, beverages are refilled , buffet stations maintained clean and fully stocked , all the dining areas are clean without any debris . Spent a night in Downtown Everett and opted to stay at The Hampton Inn. Check in was fast and easy, garage parking was only $10. The lobby and amenities were well kept and clean. Our room was spacious and neat. I appreciated the updated rooms and bathroom. Will be staying here the next time I'm in Everett. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was rough. The bedding and pillows were so uncomfortable I ended up making a late-night trip to Walmart just to buy my own. Noise was a constant issue. Loud music from the front desk echoed into our room, and at one point the front desk staff had their phone on speaker blasting even louder hold music. I actually closed the hallway double doors to try to block the sound. Between that, slamming doors throughout the night, and cars speeding down the road at all hours, it was impossible to get decent rest. Strangely enough, the airport next door was the least of the noise issues as we didn't hear a single plane. The phone in our room didn't work, and the $16.50 "continental breakfast" felt like a joke with cereal, pastries, and not much else. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and exhausted. read more

Upon returning home we realized we left a coat hanging in the closet. Called the front desk immediately to let them know our daughter was going to swing in and grab it tonight and was told that they couldn't find out if it was found due to someone in the room. WHAT, would that mean the room was not cleaned properly then? Yet the front didn't have access to find out if housekeeping had the coat. I can't understand why a manager/front desk would not have access to housekeeping. Plus now not knowing if the room was not cleaned fully i don't know if we will stay there again. read more

One of the more enjoyable stays that I've ever had in the Seattle metro area. Located in Everett (25-30 minutes north from downtown Seattle), this Hampton Inn was a surprise with nearly everything. First off, parking. Its primarily underground (I didn't see anywhere else outside) due to the property's downtown location, as well as being in close proximity to a high end apartment complex. No issues in parking, other than that it fills up quickly over weekends. Nonetheless, the walk to the elevator isn't terrible. The property amenities seem to be on the ground floor across from the front desk. The fitness center and indoor pool area is noticeable, and quite popular with guests. The eating area is on one of the top floors, which I found to be convenient since my room was only one floor above it (I took the stairs). The room? Quite cozy! It wasn't large by a suite design, yet it wasn't small either. The walls aren't paper thin, so I was able to sleep and work without any noise- remarkable, considering that the building is located in a mix of commercial & residential properties. Overall, the property is quite appealing, and hardly dated. Well worth the $$$! read more

I recently had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. I had booked and prepaid for my stay on Expedia, and I felt I got a decent rate. I liked the look of this hotel online, in all the photos, and the reviews were consistently good. I also liked how parking was free in an underground garage, how they offered free wi-fi, how breakfast was included, and how they had "late check-in" (i.e., my room would be reserved for me up until midnight). When I arrived, check-in was smooth. Yes, the garage is small and many hotel guests have large trucks that take up more than one spot. I'm not sure how the hotel is supposed to monitor guests' vehicle size issues. I had no problem finding and accessing a parking spot. (The garage was clean and well-lite, two-stories, with elevator access on both levels). There's a pool that was in use by a few families every time I passed it by. It was small but appeared well-kept and the pool room was clean. There's also a fitness room that I didn't check out. Breakfast was your usual fare of make-yourself waffles, oatmeal with lots of topping options, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruits, cereals, yogurts and baked goods. The eggs were rubbery and bland, and the fruit was water-logged. The best part of the meal was, unfortunately, the most unhealthy part: I had a wonderful muffin (fresh, with a sugar-crumb topping), and the other breads and pastries also looked quite good. My room was terrific: larger than I had expected, in a corner unit, super clean, with a fridge and microwave and, best of all (and totally unexpectedly) a view of the water! Lovely! And I was most impressed with the bathroom. PBD time (Personal Bias Disclosure): I really dislike shower curtains. Regardless how clean they may be, I don't like them. I don't like how they feel when I'm in the shower and they get wet and adhere to my arms. I feel like they feel clammy and dirty. Weird, I know. But I don't like them. Yet, of course they are standard fare in hotels since they are inexpensive and easy to replace. I was really surprised and happy to see a glass-walled shower stall here in this hotel room! And it was big and clean! It's rare to see a glass-walled shower in an inexpensive or moderately-priced hotel. I loved it. (Will try to attach a photo). The bed was extremely comfortable for me. The tv was great, there were lots of outlets for me to use to charge my electronics, everything worked fine. I would have liked to have had a room safe to store my passport and stuff, but there was none. (Seems to be a growing trend nowadays. Room safes are not the norm anymore, unfortunately). I'm not sure if the guys in the room beside me were unduly loud, or if the walls are unduly thin, but man, I heard them chatting into the wee hours. It was as if they were inside my room with me. Unnerving!!!! (I'm not sure if they were in the adjacent room or in the hallway). Luckily, they quieted down by 1pm. Check-out was as smooth as check-in. My stay here was really lovely. If I have another opportunity to visit Everett, I'd definitely book here again. read more

My employee made a reservation that I wanted to pay for. She called the front desk to add my credit card. Cara the front desk clerk was extremely rude, inpatient and escalated her attitude to the point that my employee called her a bitch. (Calling her a bitch was not acceptable; however, I stood next to her the whole time and could her Cara on the other end being completely rude and dismissive. When I called back, Cara assumed that I was my employee and started being rude to me and told me that she was cancelling the reservation w/o allowing me to talk. She almost hung up on me and then I asked for her manager. Needless to say, when Ashley (manager) got on the line, she defended her employee and then cancelled our reservation. There was a power loss in Marysville where we live, so we thought we'd get a room and at least be comfortable for the night while it was being fixed. Upon entering the facility we were promptly greeted. As it turns out, there was a room available for us as well as our four legged friends (two little pekingese pups). There were actually a few rooms to choose from but rather than get crazy we figured it was only for one night, let's keep it simple, so we took the cheapest one. The room itself was nice enough and thoughtfully put together as a basic king room should be. The TV, microwave and fridge were satisfactory as well. One thing we would have liked was a heads up on the down pillows, not everyone can use them and we are fiercely allergic to them. Apparently each room has two down and two cotton pillows on each bed. Something to think about for the future. Lastly and to a lesser extent, it wasn't explained to us prior to getting the room that it was an adjoining room. Having explained that to us, could have resulted in an upgrade and the Hampton Inn ultimately making more money at the end of the day. I usually give very high marks to Hampton inns. This one is a little bit of an exception. The staff was friendly and the room was fine though my view was of an alley and an apartment building about 15 ft away. The fact that we didn't get housekeeping service and weren't told that prior to our visit was disappointing. The parking garage is very tight and has poor functionality, causing me to break my drivers side mirror as I was backing out My primary issue was with the hot breakfast and the fact that it was never hot the two days that I tried to take advantage of it: the oatmeal was cool and the eggs and potatoes were room temperature and the breakfast meat was empty both days. The most humorous thing is that the juices were warm, probably warmer than the eggs. We spent one night at Hampton Inn in Everett on Aug 28th. When checking in we asked if they had a location we could bring our bicycles in to the building over night. They said put them in the garage since it was secured. One of our bikes was stolen from the garage. When we confronted the same lady at the front desk the next morning, she said "oh I didn't know they were electric bikes" So if she known, she would let us bring them in? The garage is not secure, you can walk into the lobby, take the elevator down to the garage, grab what you want and exit the automated garage door. We contacted Hilton customer care and they said the hotel will be in touch with us. But they never contacted us. Needless to say we won't be staying there again. read more

I had an unfortunate experience here last week that it not only will never stay at a Hampton Inn again, but I have sworn off the Hilton chain (despite being long time Hilton Honors member). I am a firefighter in California and I was flying to see my brother who is dying of stage four cancer. This hotel is near to Providence Hospital. I was held over on emergency mandatory duty at work, missing the first day of my reservation. At the airport, my scheduled flights were canceled. I arrived late on the second day of my pre-paid reservations. It was after 10pm, weary and tired in the pouring rain, and I was turned away. I was informed that my room was sold because I didn't check in on time, and the hotel was full. I waited, trying to see if the front desk agent Tia could offer me any accommodation. They sold my room to the 'Disney on Ice' crowd. I was shocked at the lack of effort, lack of ownership, and poor customer service. Despite multiple attempts afterwards, I was denied a refund of over $410 dollars. I took my business to the Courtyard Marriott across town. The timing and insult will not soon be forgotten, as my brief visit ended up costing me $900 in hotel fees for a visit that was already emotionally devastating. Hampton was paid twice for half the service and I recommend you take your business to the Marriott. read more

I began living here after living in my car because my friend made it seem like it was easy and at the time it made sense. In order to live here, I would door dash or deliver for Instacart and truly it made sense. I would not recommend living here, staying as a guest if only for a few days is a different story. One night I wasn't able to pay but had all of my stuff in our room; I had asked if we could keep our stuff in the room whilst staying else where while I came up with the funds for the next night. I know it was unconventional but the nighttime hotel clerk said that would be okay and so that's what happened. The next morning, we arrived back to Woodspring. The hotel manager said that what the nighttime clerk said was wrong and that in order to say that we would have to pay for the day prior and that day or we would have to get out. unable to pay for the night prior, but able to pay for that day we were ultimately kicked out. The night prior our car was stolen, and so we thought the hotel would catch us a break: we were wrong. So we packed what we could & left. The next day, the police informed us that they had found our car and we got it back so we went back to the Woodspring so we could retrieve the rest of our belongings. Not only did they say that we couldn't do that and get everything we lost everything they didn't throw it all away because not even 24 hours later nothing was in the garbage so they either stole it all or they were just not letting us back in our room to get our stuff back. We lost Everything. some of the most valuable things that we lost were things I inherited from my deceased father, and I will never ever get back. my boyfriend lost a huge part of his collection that he's been collecting for his whole life basically. for no reason at all, we were blacklisted and my entire wardrobe was basically gone because of this hotel. I don't recommend this hotel at all. They lie, and they're deceitful. The hotel manager is an asshole, and I am not the only one who agrees to say that. read more

Also unlike many places they offer a breakfast menu to get to pick many options from the Guest services to take to your room or wherever. They follow Covid rules and standards amazingly. read more

My daughter and I stayed here while in town to see the Everette Silvertips hockey game. I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the ice arena. It's about a 15 minute ride from Paine Airfield. It has limited on site parking. Facility is newish and clean. Check in was fast, and front desk staff was kind and helpful, suggesting restaurants in the area. There is a small snack and amenity shop downstairs. There's a pool, and a good breakfast buffet is included. The room was nice, bed comfortable, and included a mini fridge and a microwave. Street noise audible but not bad. The only issue I noticed was some of the floor corners and areas around the bath vanity were dusty-no big deal. Overall I was pleased and would stay here again when back in the area. read more

This was a solid hotel for my simple needs. My first impression of the building was a nice one. For under 5 yrs old, it doesn't look too basic and drab, rather more pleasantly conventional with a subtle hint of modern coolness. The clay tones and brick facade were nice touches. Given the corner site, the parking garage is decent; just note to yield and slow down when approaching/entering/existing the alley way entrance as there are blind corners. For the amenities, I used the fitness room a bit for some free weight workouts and the business center for some chill interwebz browsing. Both are pretty good; the business center motion light sensor could improve: it kept turning off after prolonged sitting (5-10 minutes, I think). For physically-challenged people, the pool appeared to have a pool lift to use. The breakfast on the 6th FL isn't anything special (typical continental fare found elsewhere) but kudos to it for being up there and in a pretty nice space, to boot (pretty classy compared to the competition, I thought). My room was pleasantly comfortable. I just wish some of the cable/satellite(?) channels actually worked (maybe 1/4 of them didn't work). Location is great kind of SW of the main downtown area and walking distance near 2 awesome businesses: the natural foods co-op (great for trying bath salts in the hotel room tub) and Cafe Wylde (yummy natural vegan food). Worth a visit! Whether playing local tourist (moi) or visiting from out of town. read more

Nice overall hotel, with a few drawbacks. Parking is awkward and directions should be noted on site. You need a garage parking key to enter the building parking. Took two trips around the building to locate entry and then read a very small sign that you needed a key. Park in temporary parking by the front desk first when initially checking in. Retrieve your room key to park. The garage is behind the building off the alleyway. I received a text indicating that my room was ready. I checked in, then was notified that my room would not be ready for two hours. I decided to eat lunch to while away the time. I returned 2.5 hours later, a new crew was at the front desk, and I was again informed that my room was not ready. I sat in the waiting room. No other comfort contact was made by the staff. Four additional parties checked in while I waited. I eventually requested an ETA and was provided a room, post uncomfortable discussion on delays. Don't splurge on the "view" rooms. Faces a harbor with tops of buildings visible. I checked out the next morning and checked in to a Marriott. Disappointed - I'm very rarely disappointed! I stay in hotels eight months out of the year. Diamond members in all but Hilton (Silver). read more

Reached down to front desk, was advised I would get call from management after front desk was unable to answer questions or provide assistance. No one from management called. Spoke to front desk after 13 hours of waiting. Manager already left for day. (I was not the only person in the lobby stating they were told a manager would call but didn't). Finally spoke to manager about issue. Was very clear what problem was and we set expectations for how it was to be handled. One of those steps would be manager reaching back out to me regarding problem. Which, never happened. No additional communication. No follow up or wrap up to conversation. It's quite sad. On the phone (the call I spoke to you at your home cause I didn't get a call) you agreed that the feedback is the only way you can afresh issues and fix them. - what I don't understand is why the feedback is suddenly not important once that call ends. You said you would follow up with me and again, NOONE ever contacted back out. So sadly the review is based on my experience with front desk associates who simply can not take down and pass a phone number to managers. While also managers who provide lip service for your concerns but show no signs of action once you disconnect with them. (My phone in my room was replaced, yes. Which was related to my issues. But it was done only during the time when staff knew I would be out of hotel. When scheduling the time to replace the phone is when I was told I would receive a follow up conversation). When you as a manager present yourself or information and your customer agrees. Don't back out without notice or communication. Because what I see is that you don't care or understand. Had a much appreciated 2 night stay after driving up the west coast. Property is beautiful and very well kept, and my room was excellent! Enormous immaculate shower, bathroom.. and the bed was heaven! Even better than that was the service .. Seaed (GM) was so friendly and helpful.. personally brought me extra coffee to my room and included several candy bars as a treat. When asked about travel from Seatac airport , he gave invaluable insight about the drive / check in and made my departure much easier. Then , when my flight needed to be delayed , Seaed didn't hesitate to give me a very generous late check out. Would highly recommend.. and since I'm planning on traveling to Everett fairly regularly.. this is now my hotel of choice! Looking forward to my next visit! read more

This was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever had. My bedroom is larger than this space. There was hardly room to put our luggage anywhere. We really couldn't unpack anything anyway since there was no dresser in the room. I heard this hotel was newly remodeled. Makes me think it was a hostel prior to upgrading to a hotel. On the plus side, the people here were nice. There isn't much around the hotel - but there is a lot of growth and building so maybe this neighborhood will turn around in the next few years. One positive: there's a place across the street where you can buy bras if you happen to need one. LOL read more

Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend while visiting Seattle. The hotel was very nice and clean the conditions of the room were almost like new. Comfortable bed. Large flat screen. Our room had a bed as well as a couch that pulled out into a sleeper sofa. Bathrooms were spacious with a glass shower and a shower head with changeable pressure settings. Plenty of towels and even an extra blanket in the closet. Has a very nice dining lounge area for breakfast however I wish the breakfast spread was a little better. Not bad though. There is underground parking, a workout room, pool and a guest laundry area as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area. read more

My stay here has been fantastic! Management is great! They make me feel like a valued customer and say hello all the time. The hotel is very clean and coffee and tea are always available at any time of the day. I do wish they had soft drinks as well. The pool area is warm like a sauna but in winter it's a great warm oasis to be in. If you have to leave early in the morning before breakfast starts, if you go to the front desk, they may be able to hook you up with a "to go snack sack". You will be equipped with an apple, breakfast bar, mints, a bottle of water, and a muffin. It's not a hot breakfast, but they try to accommodate us. This hotel is ONLY 4 MONTHS NEW! Rooms are average sized and clean. They only have two small drawers and a small closet for storage. Two computers and a printer in the business center. Bra store across the street. Near the Naval Base. Lots of food choices with some in walking distance. Close to the ice arena and minor league baseball field. So far fantastic for what I need. read more

We stayed here for two nights. The first morning we were woken up at 6 am by the 'breakfast' floor directly above us. All kinds of chairs moving, people walking, bumping into things, making it very difficult to sleep in after being woken up. We requested to switch room which we did. Next room had customers above us who must have had small children and letting them run wild making all kinds of bumps, running, jumping, etc. Called the front desk to let them know to ask the floor above us about the noise. It continued all night long. There is no sound proofing anywhere in this hotel. I would definitely not ever come stay here again. I am normally a Hilton fan but not this stay at all. read more

Given the poorly staffed status, I was pleased with the friendly, polite & helpful staff UNTIL TODAY! The blond woman at the front desk today was rude, unprofessional & spoiling for a fight. She turned my self-service trek to the lobby for clean towels, trash pickup & soaps into an unnecessary & heated argument due to her nasty attitude. I even used profanities...which is not my usual way of communicating displeasure with others. If you watch & listen to your video footage of the lobby, you will see how her behaviors turned me into Cujo in a matter of seconds! Thursday, Oct. 28 @ approx. 1:45 PM. I took my sons to the area for their Jiu Jitsu tournament. We were checked in by Jesyca who was fabulous. She was quick, efficient, friendly and helpful. She had us in and out in no time. Secure parking is provided at no cost. It is under the hotel and is tight quarters but we never had a problem. The room was great. 2 queen beds, high ceilings (even in the bathroom which was great) nice solid furniture and comfy pillows and linens. When we got back from the tourney we didn't feel like going out so I called the front desk (still Jesyca) and asked for recommendations for delivery. We followed her advice and headed down to the pool. Pool area (and the entire hotel) was very clean and organized. About 30 minutes later our food arrived. Delicious. Order a pizza from Amante's if you stay here. Maria did a great job checking us out in the morning. Even gave my kids some snacks for the road. We also had the complimentary breakfast. It was well stocked with a good variety of food. Make your own waffle bar, fruit, toast/bagels/pasteries, has boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy and sausage. All in all a great property with great customer service. read more

As I was checking in take note this is my first time at the hotel. I had degital key. We did not know the hotel at all had to figure it out ourself. I went to the desk to ask if she could re send the digital for parking try to explain Maria she doesn't seems like to listen all she said is should work all she did is handed the key on me nothing else. All Im saying is as Front Desk first you will do is Hello and welcome have you stay here before??? . I have to ask her where is the parking???. Then the next day.my husband saw some paper for the parking but I never got one. So I went to the desk is ask for one of course Maria again. All i said is can O pls. have a parking slip I don't want my car to be towed. And she went on and on saying "I will move my car first before I will tow the guest and beside I don't like towing company " Maria said. No apologize at all or what so ever. My point is if work long enough at this property you should be able to recognize who is your guest and who is the first time here.
