Stayed at Delta Hotels in Everett for a night. The check-in was at 3pm but I arrived at 10:30am and the staff were very nice to give me early check-in. The hotel is pretty good, the rooms are equipped with smart TVs where you can stream Netflix from your own account, has a desk for you to get work done and has a hotel restaurant. The restaurant is closed for lunch but they do have breakfast, happy hour, and dinner. They also had an indoor pool and hot tub as well as a gym. read more

Absolutely beautiful room. Really lovely lobby. The rooms are wider than normal. Also, there's so much space to move around. Very popular layout with covers over air conditioning area so you have extra table space. The bathroom is really pretty. Are new. There was such a nice day. This is my first time staying at a Delta Hotels property and I am pleasantly surprised at how great everything is. I found out this used to be a Holiday Inn property and they took over in 2018 and renovated it. It is nicely maintained. Just off I-5, it is easy to get to. We didn't hear the noise traffic in our room. The room is modern and clean. Everything works. There are complimentary bottled water in the room and a hydration station (ice and water dispenser) on our floor. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and black out shade makes it easy to sleep in the dark. Plenty of power points and usb slots to charge devices. There is a microwave by the dining area which guests can use. The staff told us we are welcomed to heat up our own food. That's really convenient for us to reheat food for our picky kids. There are also snacks and food (grab and go) for purchase there. The staff are friendly and professional. The lobby has plenty of seating areas with tables. Some tables have power point in it for you to charge your phone if necessary. Parking is not free but it is reasonably priced. $8 for the uncovered section outside, $12 for underground section. Same level of security. Being a convention center, there are lots of ballrooms and conference rooms. The pool and hot tub, sauna and fitness center are off that wing. I will stay here again the next time I am in the Seattle area. read more

We went down for an overnight stay while planning to see a show at the arena. The arena is within walking distance so it was perfect lodging. It's actually within walking distance from convinces of restaurants as well. BUT don't forget the hotel has a restaurant inside. The pool was closed for maintenance and the fitness room was accessible. Our room 6th floor view of the highway. Spacious room, comfortable couch and cozy king bed. We lounged before the event and had a 1 hour extended for check-out. The layout in the bathroom created space for an all purpose need. Lots of parking with underground options. Staff was friendly and prompt to respond. read more

I'm surprised this hotel doesn't have a 5 star rating. The check in was incredibly smooth, even got to check in earlier (12pm vs 3pm) & it's located near all of the attractions (casinos, NAVY base, midnight bowling alleys, quite a bit of food, and only 15 min from Alderwood mall in Lynnwood). The reception area is spacious and very clean. I've also never seen a hotel offer vitamin tablets to put into your water. They had ones geared towards focus, immunity & glow. Of course I am bringing a few back with me to Dallas ;) lol. They also have a restaurant/bar, grab and go snack room, a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The room we stayed in was very nice. Beds turned down at standard (and SUPER comfortable), no stains, nice view of the mountains in the distance & even had a spare cozy blanket in the closet to wrap up in. If you need anything from the hotel, the staff ensure you get it. We ordered some food from outside the hotel, and called to see if the rooms came with microwaves. We were informed some rooms come standard w/them, but if ours didn't we would have one plugged in before our return. Sure enough, as soon as we got to the room a microwave was set up. This hotel is great for business executives or any groups of people who need conference rooms for meetings. It's also great for people looking to rent out spaces for parties. We got to enjoy looking at a multitude of costumes from a company halloween party that was being held in one of the banquet rooms on the main floor. Very disappointing stay at the Delta Hotel in Everett. From the moment we arrived, the entire first floor had a strong foul sewer smell that never went away. On top of that, the staff seemed to struggle with performing even simple tasks, which made the experience frustrating rather than relaxing. At the bar, service was inconsistent -- one bartender was professional and courteous, but another was short, stressed, and unprofessional, leaving us with a negative impression. After more than 1,400 nights at Marriott properties, I've come to expect a certain standard of hospitality and cleanliness. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far below expectations. read more

The staff was amazing especially Stacy the bartender she took excellent care of us and made the overall experience even better. We were traveling from Canada to Seattle and stayed at this hotel. It is very nice, and our room is spacious. Unfortunately, we encountered a problem with the hot water. When we called the front desk around 9 PM, we were informed that there was nothing they could do until maintenance arrived at 8 AM the next day. Nice contemporary decorations, nice rooms, very soft beds, friendly professional staff. I was traveling with my son to relocate him from Virginia to Seattle WA and this hotel was our last stay. We were driving a moving van with a car trailer which presented a bit of a challenge for parking. The car in tow was my son's baby, a pristine Nissan 370Z. The security guard at the hotel saw that he was trying to park in an unobtrusive spot. He came out and assisted my son by providing him a great alternative parking spot underneath hotel cameras so that they could keep an eye on our truck and his car overnight during their evening shifts. Then to top things off, there's a "hole in the wall" Chinese restaurant across the street that was very reasonably priced and had good food. (Late dinner after 11 hours of driving) I'm embarrassed that I didn't catch the security guard's name but I will never forget his kindness which gave us both a much easier nights sleep at the end of our cross country trip. read more

This is such a nice hotel and has really great qualities! It is a newer hotel so the rooms are pretty modern and updated. The televisions are large, beds are comfortable and bathrooms are so new. The hotel bar / restaurant is great as well. The food there is surprisingly really good for a hotel restaurant and it's not too expensive. Everything is priced pretty accurately for the area. My only hangup was the area. It didn't appear to be in the safest area. There are some bars / restaurants around, but I did not feel safe walking there and multiple patrons told me not to as well. read more

Everett is not Seattle. No matter how the business want to spin it, Seattle is 38 miles south. If your are coming to Seattle, the actual city limits, this IS NOT IT!!!! The rooms are fine, but this is a lipstick on a pig type of situation. The hotel is in a undesirable part of Everett, next to I-5, and is an old property that has been painted to look new. Actually it has been painted many times over the past 40 years. They make you pay for parking because they can and to also to keep the meth heads 50 feet further from your vehicle. The front desk staff are challenged by the most basic issues and are largely clueless. This means if you check in after 5 PM, after the real management leaves, be prepared for deer in the headlights looks for any issue that is outside of questions, like when the bar closes. On a good note, the bar staff has been good and I do enjoy their effort for customer satisfaction. Yes I did tip them well for a last minute order and I do appreciate it. A dump in pretty disguise! First of all, the amount of homeless people living in front of this hotel is a bit much for how much they charge. When I stayed in September I had a drugged out homeless man harassing me while loading my car to leave. And I was charged $10 a day to park in a paved spot within the hotel fencing. I got my Dad a room there yesterday and he was only charged $7. I realized after my stay in September that there was supposed to be a robe in my room but there wasn't. My Dad wasn't given Wi-Fi info and there was no robe in his room. Additionally he came home and asked me about his receipt. There were 2 charges listed as market for $2.50 and 2 charges for market taxes at $.50. He bought nothing from the hotel. I called and they assured me they'll take care of it. If you're going to call yourself a luxury hotel, be a luxury hotel! read more

I, and several other members of my family, while attending a funeral, stayed here July 27 & 28. We paid for 4 rooms. Upon check-in I was charged an extra $100 for my room (I was alone in one room) and when I questioned the extra charge I was told it would be reimbursed to my Visa. It is now the middle of September and I have neither been reimbursed nor has anyone from the hotel answered my many phone calls and messages. I was the only inhabitant of my room so I know there were no damages incurred. I am an 83 year old female and did not use anything in the room except the bed and the bathroom. I thought the hotel was very sterile feeling and the staff was very "busy". No one in my group used any of the facilities so I can't speak to that but I do know there was an extra charge for everything, including parking. I did not use parking either. read more

I really liked this hotel, EXCEPT for the poor windows and all of the noise. I saw another review that recommended getting a room away from the freeway as they heard every car and motorcycle. Sorry, I heard them too. Not only the cars, but the train tracks are very nearby and they are blowins all night long... Really, Marriott, you guys are big boys and should have been better at designing the windows on this one!! Ok, to continue this rant, typically in a louder room, you can turn on the fan for some white noise, No luck her, you can't just run the fan. I did finally figure out, at about 2 am, you can set the AC to 65 degrees, grab a blanket from the closet and get some Zs in a cold room. Other than that, the place was good. I found the staff to be very friendly and responsive. My room was clean and comfortable. They did clean it the second day, no problems. The entire building is clean and new. I did get breakfast at the bar and it was great! I would definately eat there again if I was in the area. I don't know, maybe if you want to stay hear, bring some ear plugs? read more

This a new Marriott property north of Seattle that opened a few months ago. The entrance and lobby are really nice looking along with the actual hotel rooms, but that's expected from a newer hotel. For the lounge access given to Elite members as well as guests staying on the lounge floor, it is a 24 hour self-serve lounge with snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and a coffee machine. There's also breakfast available but it is essentially only whole fruit and assorted breads. For a rewards member, it is kind of disappointing as a real breakfast is not free. They offer breakfast downstairs in the restaurant but there are no discounts available to elite members and the prices are on the expensive side of more than $10-$15 for a meal. Overall, this is a nice new hotel that is very clean but I wish there were better options available for elite members. read more

Here they had complimentary breakfast and a snack bar that is opened 24 hours because we stayed in the executive level on the 7th floor so our floor was the only one that had access to complimentary pantry. So as soon as Eve would open her eyes and she would start naming all the things she would like her brother to get for her. We have the same things at home but she isn't as eager to wake up and eat. My mom told me that when I was a little girl (Back in Ukraine) that she made piroshki and gave some to our neighbor. Apparently I went to my neighbors house and tried some of my moms piroshki. I came back home telling my mom how tasty our neighbors piroshki were. Does that happen to you or your kids? Everything here is beautiful and the modern design and look is stunning. This hotel was promising but the noise from the freeway is very loud making it difficult to sleep. My phone never worked so I had to use my cell to call the operator of the hotel (it confused them). My phone was never fixed. The heat did not work and some guy was sent up to help me since they didn't have maintenance on duty. The staff at checkin was rude, never made eye contact and continued to rudely prompt me to get through the check in process quickly (nobody was waiting to check in behind me). She was extremely robotic during the check in process. The public microwave was completely disgusting and filthy for several days. I used it and then informed the front desk and was told they would clean it out, when I checked out the following day it was exactly the same. When I spoke with another guest the previous night he stated it was like that for the past 2 nights. The last night a loud grouped checked in and I could not get to sleep. I called the desk and they said security would be sent up. Well ... it just got louder and so I went downstairs and was told it was a team and they were "just exchanging phones" ~ not true, banging and loitering in the halls and being loud. Would not stay at this location again. Come on Marriott, get it together. read more

Very unhappy with our stay here! Just simply the amount of misinformation we were given was incredibly irritating. We were having work done at our house, and wanted to get our kid away from it overnight, so we are locals. This is supposed to be a high end hotel. The rooms are nice, the hotel is pleasant looking. However, we only asked for a few things, such as early checkin or late checkout by an hour. We were told on the phone that early check in was fine. No dice when we arrived! Had to wait for about 40 minutes while the room they said would be ready was not. No late check out, we were told the next morning! We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which has a sleeper sofa. Ready for bed, we discovered the bed was not made up, just a bare mattress. Were we supposed to request it to be made up? We didn't know, since no information to that effect was given. I slept on the couch, since it was too late to disturb my kid, who had the bedroom. Another note, which is the not the fault of the staff of course, is the design of the suite. The bathroom is in the bedroom. The suite sleeps four technically, but unless you want to disturb the sleepers in the bedroom don't plan on a middle of the night bathroom visit. Just a weird note. The phone did not work. Not horrible, but again, a relatively expensive room. This is not Seattle folks! It's Everett, so for the price we expected more. We were informed that there would be a fire alarm drill for the 4th and 5th floors, but that we would not hear it on the 3rd floor where we were staying. We were scared silly after OUR room alarms went off! Called the front desk to see if we were indeed having a fire! No, thank goodness, but " they must be doing extra drills " was the lame answer. And, no, I was not hearing muffled alarms from another floor, it was OUR room alarms. Hot tub out of commission. Food from the restaurant adequate but not great. The night was fairly quiet but you can still hear other guests. Again, remember the room we stayed at was almost $500 a night. I will say that housekeeping is excellent, and the hotel is very clean. Overall a poor experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, given how expensive it is, and for the area it's in. We thought we would stay two nights but prefer the chaos of construction at home to another night there. read more

Love the fact that there is another nice hotel in downtown Everett. The old Holiday Inn on this property was a dump. The newly remodeled and rebranded Delta is very nice. Service is quick and rooms are well appointed. The common areas are spacious and event staff very efficient. My only concern is a lack of parking on busy weekend. The hotel property is not in a great part of Everett, so the lack of walkability is a negative. Close to Hwy. 5 and Angel of the Winds arena makes this a great location! read more

So close, but have room to improve. Wonderfully nice people. Ask for a room on the city side. I was on the highway side, and heard every car, truck, motorcycle etc all night long. Tried ordering a pot of coffee to my room. That seemed like an odd request for some reason. Was told to brew the packages in the room. I had already done that. Couldn't offer me a couple boiled eggs when I tried ordering it. Puzzling. Had a total mix up with the rewards points mess that is going on with Marriott, and the desk would not help at all. Got it sorted via phone. I am a top tier Hyatt guy looking at moving to Marriotts loyalty program. Not a great start. Gym was clean and well equipped. read more

Nicely redone hotel and very nice rooms. Don't go to the restaurant unless you like cold food that is served with little or no effort. Had Grilled Salmon and Vegetables with Mashed Potatoes. Salmon was cold, vegetables were cold and the mashed potatoes we had to ask for a couple of times, only to receive them about 10 minutes after the meal, and were truly not edible. They were a greasy blob of burnt mashed potatoes that had an off flavor that was almost like vinegar. Steak Skewers were good, however we made the mistake of asking for a dinner salad instead of fries. You would not think that would be difficult, however the salad arrived about 10 minutes after the meal, because they could not find croutons??? Salad was served on a coffee cup plate. The hotel shuttle is a big joke. Great looking van with a lot of marketing and promises on the printed wrap around the van. Reality is that when we asked to get a ride to the airport at the end of a FOUR NIGHT stay, we were told that the shuttle is only for people who are paying to park their cars at the hotel, and IT IS NOT FOR HOTEL GUESTS TO GET A RIDE TO THE AIRPORT.....I guess renting parking spaces is a far more focused part of this operation, and more valued that hotel bookings. Not sure what was going on, as the hotel and rooms are very nice, and some of the staff was very pleasant. Maybe just personnel changes or training issues, whatever it is, it left us with little desire to return, as there are other options in town to explore. read more

I want to front load this review. This is in no way reflects on the look or quality of the building. Our family was very happy with all that. Also, we chose this hotel because we had an awesome, amazing experience in Victoria B.C. with the Delta Marriott up there. We stayed in the King Suite and for some reason the service and setup of the room was terrible... First.... our room had very few dishes and no silverware.. so we call to the front desk and request a few items. That took 4 separate calls as nobody would answer.... Second... They needed to verify which room we are in? Don't you know which room is calling to the front desk? Third... the next day we returned to our room from our day out shopping around 5:30pm and our room was still not made up? Seems a little late! This happened the second day as well.... Fourth...we called for Kureg coffee pods, specifically non-decaf.. that took three trips as they first brought up regular grounds for drip coffee machine. Then, the second trip they brought up decaf. Third time was the charm! Fifth... we ordered room service, specifically cheesecake and ice cream, the front desk said our ice cream would be melted by the time they reached us so they said we needed to come pick up our dessert at the front desk..I'm willing to pay money but I'm on vacation to be served and enjoy my time with the family ( they did comp us on this after calling front desk) Overall I feel like we could have stayed at a $100 dollar night hotel with better service. We spent $265 a night an kinda expected more, maybe the Canadian hotel is just really good because Canadians are super nice, complimentary people! read more

newly renovated and smells great! The staff is super friendly! I gave it one less star because one of the beds in our room had dirty sheets. Looks like they didn't check the room throughly before marking it ready for check in. They came and cleaned it right away but it was awkward to go through that. Second, we were in room 617 and there were weird unusual sounds coming in the room. It seems like a cracking and opening of drawer/door in the room but there was nothing there. We double locked the room door but the sounds didn't stop. Little spooky to be honest! What can these sounds be? Hmmmmm .. so mysterious! 2nd day, had a similar issue as room didn't get cleaned! Sigh! This hotel is so good but there just seems like there is a disconnect in communication in housekeeping! I am not reducing the stars as much as I want to becoz they compensated us for not cleaning the room at all. The inconvenience we went thru was a nightmare. Like I said, good hotel, just crummy housekeeping communication! I really really wish they kept higher standards in housekeeping, after all this is a Marriott brand name hotel! Booked this hotel last minute. Was not disappointed. We had a few rooms for a wedding the next day. Of course all the grooms wanted to party a bit before the big day. I think we told them it was going to be a wedding thing. However no one gave us a hard time or gave us complaints about being loud. The walls are slabs of concrete though, so you would only hear noise directly from the door. Either we had awesome neighbors all around or the workers decided to let us have a good night. We didn't stay up too late, but we appreciated that little gesture from everyone. From having a long night, I don't remember if they had breakfast that was provided, but they do have a restaurant. The staff was great and everyone seemed really friendly. read more

Had an unbelievably bad experience. First was told there were no upgrades for our loyalty program even though the room was available online from the morning until late at night. Also,my he hotel was almost completely empty. There were around 40 cars in the parking lot at 9 pm in a 7 story hotel building. I didn't know that the pool and hot tub were closed until I arrived. The pictures are on the website had no any clarification it wasn't available except in a different area of the site and one where you had to kook to find it. It was never mentioned in my confirmation email. I chose the hotel based on the pool and hot tub. My safe didn't work and had to have a part removed to be charged. The heater is on one side of the room so one side of your room will be very hot and the other side will be cool. I left my room for four hours with the temp at 72. When I came back to the room, the temp read 64 degrees. When I was checking out and mentioned the room had been available online all day the same clerk was very upfront with her language that the room wasn't available at the moment she looked on her computer. (All three times of the times I had her check before finally checking in. ) I received no assistance or accommodation from the daytime front desk staff or manager. The night time staff would have moved me when I pointed out the room was available online but I was ready to change hotels at this point from the number of other problems. In addition, the manager both days who was located one door behind the desk area was aware I was upset and never once came out to introduce herself or help. The number I was given for Marriott first had the wrong area code. When I figured out the right area code the number was disconnected and not in use. read more

We stayed here over the Xmas holiday because our cousin lives in Everett. Both of us work for developers who build hotels, and we are very picky...we have stayed at some of the nicest hotels in the world and let me tell you - this hotel is the first time we have ever said that everything was perfect. From the layout of our King suite, to the decor, amenities, hospitality, comfort, location, to the cleanliness (they did forget to clean our room one day but it was Dec 23rd and I think they were short staffed, not a big deal). Everything was outstanding, and the price is impossible to beat. What a great value. Plenty of parking, too. Someone put a lot of thought into the practicality and comfort of these rooms and it shows. read more

So very clean and comfortable! I will stay here every time I'm in Everett, hands down. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and very cozy linens. Large, adjustable TV. Lots of little touches that I appreciated, such as the bathroom night light that came on automatically when you step inside. The rolling bathroom door. Free HBO and Showtime. Nice property but it's not fit for extended stay which was my purpose. The room has a nice size tv, a small but descent bathroom area with glass shower doors. A mini fridge and no microwave. They do have one near the lobby that guests can use, but that's such an inconvenience. The dining area looked nice but of course it's closed due to the coronavirus. No breakfast available. If it's a short stay then this would be a good option. They do have a suite available but it's pretty costly. The surrounding area isn't aesthetically appealing. Very conveniently placed next to I5 in Everett. The hotel was recently opened, so it's spanking new. Service was nice, professional and fast. Garage below building is under construction. Freeway noise disappeared on the inside, including in the room. We were in a normal room w/ king bed. Room was very nicely appointed and fine size. Wireless was acceptable. Free breakfast included all the basics, eggs, sausage, breads, coffees, fruits and cereals. I probably missed some tidbits, but it was clean, fresh and tasty. I stayed at the property a few weeks ago prior to their grand launch and I would say that it was a lovely experience overall. I do appreciate the modern, minimalist design from the lobby to the rooms. Every encounter I've had with the staff whether it's from the concierge, the restaurant, housekeeping, etc. has been pleasant and wonderful. I certainly appreciate the healthy and delicious options in Venture's and how they've always accommodated my dietary constraints and taken care of us every time we're there. The whole DMH team have executed world-class customer service and have gone above and beyond to ensure my week stay is a wonderfully memorable experience indeed. After multiple conversations with their GM, Mr. Greg Willie, it's obvious that the stellar service demonstrated by the staff originates from the top.
