I had Hillside Pavers install pavers on my patio. They completely removed the old Spanish tiles, installed two new drains, then installed the Belgard, Catalina pavers. They did a great job. Minor damage done to the patio stucco walls. They filled in any stucco that had been chipped, then I painted the stucco myself. Like I said it was minor, so easy to touch up. They did a good job cleaning up everyday, and at the end. I did have some cleanup to do afterwards, but it was minor too. All in all, I'm very pleased with the results. read more

The work that Hillside Pavers performed for me was pivotal in ensuring the success of my front yard remodel. My house is a California ranch-style 1960's throwback. I chose to embrace the used brick facade and needed someone to come in and replace the crumbling front planter. I was worried that the new "used brick" used to replaced the old brick would not match and would look like an obvious update. Oscar, Ysidro and team did a fantastic job in our backyard. We turned what had been a planted area with bushes into usable space. They matched the existing clover pattern we had in the rest of our backyard. More important they put in a ton of effort, doing a beautiful job cutting the tiles where needed into tiny pieces to fit - a work of art. They also left the yard tidy and came back the next day to fill in some areas where the joint sand hadn't fully filled. Hillside replaced our old concrete with new pavers back in 2019 but we did not get around to do a review. In Nov-Dec 2020, we need to fix the water pipe so a small area of pavers need to be replaced. Although I haven't had any work done by Hillside Pavers (my job is very small), I was very impressed by their professionalism and polite attitude. I have a raised flagstone planter behind my pool, and several of the flagstones have come off the side. I sent an online request for someone to come out and take a look at it. I received a phone call very quickly from a very friendly woman (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name), and I submitted photos to her and told her the issue. She set me up with an appointment for the next day. Luke came out right on time, and he was very professional and courteous. He inspected the flagstone and said they don't usually do jobs that small, but he felt confident I could actually do it myself. He explained the process and then texted a picture of the type of product needed to put the flagstone back up.
