BLAKE EFFING RICHARDSON! Always dishing out the best haircuts. If you want a chill shop, chill staff, Hills is where you should be going. Thanks for keeping me looking civilized! read more

Without a doubt the best barbershop I've ever been to. They will make sure you leave looking like a new person. I always leave feeling more confident. If you live anywhere near Seattle you would be yourself a disservice not atleast coming and giving them a try. read more

Pinky cut my mop. She knew my head better than me! Took a razor to my beard line! Trimmed my ridiculous eyebrows and cut my hair like any OG in the game. I was shocked how dope she cut my hair. Been here now, will be back again but only to see Pinky. read more

Ok I just went in to get a haircut and it was lumpy and $30, not coming here again. Wtf. The barber was nice but his level of quality apparently depends upon different criteria than, don't make lumpy cuts and don't make divots in people's hair. read more

These guys been a problem with me from the start ... I always came with money ... the service there suck ... first: I thought you can just walk in and see who can get next on the chair, order of operation as I call. NOPE!!! They dont do walk-in .... only by appointment and I had to figure that out. I know he is running a business I no but not sociable to your customers making them feel unwelcome like I did something wrong. ( started to think they already prejudge me before I even open my mouth ) Next: it the guy with the glasses, guessing that's the owner, didn't even wanna to look nor talk to me also the Asia guy that work in the middle... I know I no, it his business they don't have the to talk to you So finally the last guy with the dreads he gave me a shot... I gave him my money and he been cutting for a short while, thinking like some how okay now they see me it's a familiar face .... NOT WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!: so 1 time I had paid him in advance so I can get in and out I didn't wanna wait and he did just that.... this time I gave him my money Tuesday I had something to do after work ... he couldn't see me .... so I had paid him and I was like: yo can u get me tomorrow around 4 and he said yeah and that was Tuesday so I ask the owner did he get in contact with him? Have he been there? Oh a good one you guys he said he been sick!!!! ( okay ) can't get my money back that's what I'm really mad about... and you as a owner should act like an owner ... and take charge, I understand they work independently but it's your shop. Diffuse the situation and make your customers happy. I will be counting days on here until I get at least a cut or my money. I already paid. I'm from Chicago, where they teach you manner and respect read more

Go see Devin! Great price for the quality! Hands down they're the best in the city coming from San Francisco this is the spot!

Hill's Barbershop is, without a doubt, the best barbershop in Seattle. I've been coming to Erik and his colleagues for almost eight years now and I'm always impressed by the quality of their work and the professional, yet fun, environment of the shop. Their new space is very hip and easy to get to for anyone working in Pioneer Square or downtown. If you work in the area or are in the neighborhood for a game, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Called the shop yesterday to schedule a cut with Devin for a 5:15 appointment. Got to the barbershop the next day and see this. Pretty frustrated now. read more

Hill's Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

This is the best barber shop in Seattle hands down. I've been cutting my hair with the owner, Erik, for three years now and I never been disappointed. He pays great attention to detail, he is very skilled and super respectful. The other two barbers that work on the shop are also very good. They don't accept credit cards but they have an ATM machine inside the store which is super convenient. The Butler Street garage is super close to their shop which is also convenient, they charge $3/hour. If you make an appointment you'll be out in less than an hour. They usually have a lot of clients so I would recommend calling before hand and making an appointment, if you don't have an appointment they'll squeeze you in but you'll have to wait for a little since the appointments have a higher priority as expected. They charge $25 for a standard haircut which is the same price other barber shops in Seattle charge but here you'll get a super nice haircut. read more

Devin Mitchell is the barber you've been looking for! Every time I've tried a competitor I've regret it. His fades are like no other and come with many complements. I highly recommend Devin if you liv in 15-20 mile radius of downtown Seattle. He's very personable and a great friend to have an business. if you need a haircut, go to Devin. read more

Hill's Barbershop - Amazing fade = Devin Mitchel - Barbers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

One of the more annoying things about Seattle is finding a decent place to get your hair cut. I started coming to Erik 5 years ago, back when he worked at another shop nearby. I feel like a complete idiot for being late to the yelp party. Sorry, Erik: you're the best, and I should have been among the first to spread the word as soon as you opened your doors. Erik is a friendly, professional guy who provides great service, he is fast, confident, and most of all, consistent. When you find a guy as good as Erik, you stick with him. He is hands down the best barber in the city. Hill's Barbershop is the best kept secret in Seattle, but it's really too good to be kept a secret for long. read more

Devin hooked me up with the best cut I've had in Seattle. Great conversation, cool dude, will make an appointment next time.

Everyone of the guys at this barbershop are professionals. I have left Hill's always happy with my cut. On multiple occasions I have been complimented on my clean cut fade that Devin has been able to perform for me and I just can't see me going to any other shop as long as I live in Seattle. read more

Very professional and friendly service. This place is very convenient for the days that you don't want to leave the city and still get a good haircut. The only reason I am docking them a star is because the haircut took a bit over an hour. When you are still on the clock and go to get a haircut during lunch an hour is a long time. Other than that this place was awesome, and I will be back (when I am off work). read more

This is the best place to get a clean looking cut in Seattle. All 3 barbers are exceptional and you can't go wrong. This place is cash only but has an ATM just in case you forget. For as long as I'm working in Seattle I'll be getting my hair cut here. read more

I've tried every barbershop in downtown Seattle. If you are a guy and need a buzz cut, no one can make your fade tighter than Erik. Erik is hands down the best barber in town and I make sure I go to him, especially if I have any events coming up. Friendly, fast, consistent, clean, fresh. read more

30 for a straight cut. Kind of high price. Didn't get cleaned off very well hair everywhere

I can't say enough about Hills Barber Shop. Devon has incredible skill and is genuine, difficult to find I would say. It's a hip shop with good prices and they know how to cut hair. read more

I have not got my haircut yet but have been waiting forever....No fault of anyone working here. Guy in the chair is a nut job but the barber has patience of a saint! Guy has been out of the chair 4 times to study his hair in the mirror and it has not been quite what he had in mind. Make that 5, he just did it again. He also asked if he had to pay if it was not what he is hoping for. While I have no idea how my haircut will come out, I know that customer service here at Hills is second to none!!! read more

I don't let anyone touch my hair unless I trust them. Devon at hills barbershop is THE one. It's a rare feeling being able to sit down, and relax knowing you're in good hands. Time after time I've been impressed, and I'll keep having my hair cut from Devon. The good thing is, even if I need to switch people, I trust the quality of everyone to do the same. The vibe, the people, the quality. Everyone there can cut, I strongly suggest seeing for yourself. read more

After walking by Hill's Barbershop almost every day for a few weeks after they opened up, I finally decided to stop in, and I'm happy to report that I've found my new barber. The shop is super convenient to my office in Pioneer Square. I told Eric I was going to be in my sister's wedding a couple weeks from now and just wanted to trim up my hair and he did a great job. Even offered to trim my eyebrows. Much appreciated! read more

Blake did a great job on my hair. He is a super cool guy who will do whatever you need without hesitation. Highly recommend!

I've been going to see Eric for years at another shop and am happy he has his own place now! I regret getting my hair cut everytime I'm not able to make it in to see him. This new location is perfect, scheduling is easy and he cuts hair better than anyone I've been to! As a stylist myself I am pretty picky. This barbershop is full of talent and good people! I have no doubt this shop will be one of the top 5 barbershops in Seattle. read more

Rick is an awesome barber, best fade and line up I've had in the city. The whole crew there is a good group of guys, I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. I feel like the bad reviews are people who go to Greatclips and have never been to a barbershop before, its a process and it takes time. Looking forward to my next appointment. read more

My guy eric is the best barber in the city hands down!!! He has been cutting me twice a week for 10 years or more... Beautiful setting for a shop with AC by the way. The other barbers are very talented too.. Make yourself an appointment QUICK!! You are due my friend.... read more

Awesome barber with a professional yet laid-back kinda vibe. Went in to get a buzz cut, mostly just to keep the hair out of my eyes. Figured I'd pay 10 dollars, they'd do something rushed but alright, and I'd be out. Not so. The dude cutting my hair elevated a simple buzz cut to an art form. All the lines were cut with an almost laser-like precision, and it's honestly the best my hair has looked in years. The cost was more than expected (20 bucks) and it took a bit longer than I'm used to, but on both counts it was totally worth it. I'll definitely be back. read more

Eric is hands down the best in the business! All the guys at Hill's are extremely talented at their craft. No matter who cuts your hair you will never go anywhere else. Keep up the great work guys! read more

I work in downtown Seattle and not only is Hills Barbershop easy to walk to but his quality is as good as it gets.

Great haircut, great group of guys. For people who like haircuts to be more than just a transaction this is the spot!!!

Best barbers in town. Cool vibe in the shop. Devin cuts my hair. He is all about super precision. A hair surgeon! Awesome.

These guys are the best. They cut the cleanest fade better than anyone I've found in Seattle -- highly recommended!

I've lived in Seattle for over 12 years. I've been to MANY barbershops through out the city and Eric is one of the best, if not THE BEST, in the city. No questions asked. These guys know how to cut period. The shop is clean, lots of seats and in the heart of downtown. I come here during my lunch breaks and I'm in and out within the hour. Overall, you won't find a better place in Seattle to get cut. I highly recommend Eric. read more

I took a ferry from Victoria to Seattle and had almost 3 hours to kill downtown before I had to get to the train station that was about a 1.5 mile walk from the pier. I was just looking for a walk in spot for a touch up and saw about 5 convenient spots with good yelp reviews. I was able to walk to each of them along my route to the train station and they all looked like good spots in different ways. Each of the first four were either booked out the rest of the day or weren't able to accommodate my request to shave my head. I was happy that Hill's could fit me in on short notice. Low key, down to earth guys, good conversation, quality, efficient work. Nice little spot too. Good price, feels good to get worked on by good people. Devin Mitchell was my barber. People can definitely be particular about how they want their hair cut - I'm easy and just want my head shaved on occasion. I'll be happy if my good review sends more customers his and their way. Thanks Devin! read more
