Imagine you go to McDonald's for the first time and order a cheeseburger and they come back with a big mac. You had no idea a burger could be made like that and yet it just was. Let me tell you, I'm a guy, explain to me why I have gotten HOLLERED AT from cars "I love you're hair" or "OKAYYY", and it only ever happens after I get cut from this man Cam at The Keep. I came to The Keep a couple weeks after a bad haircut from a different barber and Cam saved the day. I didnt know much about what I wanted or any of the hair cutting terminology but Cam was very patient and took the time to figure out what I wanted and explained how we could best cut my specific hair type and texture. Price was on par with other salons I've visited. All around one of the best on the city. I stopped going recently because I live on the Eastside and found a stylist much closer to me. Quite close to Trader Joe's, so it's a good place if you're fitting your haircut in for running errands! They gave me an excellent fade and aren't afraid to give you a stylish cut just because of your gender (some places are afraid of giving girls a masculine haircut). I met Jared in my search for a barber when I moved to Seattle in 2017. It was actually kind of a funny story where I got another barber who messed up my hair and Jared filled in and fixed it. We laughed about it and quickly formed a friendship. Jared works pretty much 10 hours a day straight. Maybe a 15 minute break in between. Just went for my appointment and my barber no longer works there, instead of taking responsibility for themselves they left it on him to contact his clients. I drove from Lake City for this appointment since I liked my barber so coming here for no reason is very upsetting. I normally work in Capitol Hill and will usually come after work. Since I work with the public I decided to come on my day off instead of exposing the barbers to myself after working with people all day. So there I am minding my own business and a customer walks into my store to tell me that there is a chicken running loose in the parking lot. I go outside and sure as hell, there is a chicken with about 8 people trying to catch it. It was essentially like the scene from Rocky but on steroids.
