Beware after they complete your car repair (interior or exterior) in my case all my repairs were exterior they go INSIDE your car to "vacuum and wipe stuff down" I was not aware of that at all and it was NEVER mentioned to me if it was I would've politely turned them down on the extra service. Now I have a developing crack under neath the screen where it looks like someone may have applied a little to much pressure when "wiping down and vacuuming" proceeded to bring it in the next day and they're currently claiming they're not of fault for the situation,keep in mind my car had been there for two weeks plus... waiting for my insurance adjuster to contact them because apparently they couldn't do so, will follow up and let you know if they make this right... I will add the first gentleman I dealt with for the original exterior repair was AWESOME I believe his name is Steve, wears glasses. Don't waist time with others. THE REPAIR WAS DONE CORRECTLY I WILL SAY THAT THEY DID A NICE JOB..... But like I stated above they are not wanting to take fault with the cracked screen.... read more

This place is all about customer service and customer satisfaction! I don't write a lot of reviews but when I have outstanding service I think it deserves to be applauded. I took my car in after a fender bender and had an estimate by email within an hour and scheduled my repair for early the next week. I hoped I would be able to have my car done in one day and I knew it was asking a lot but I feel they did everything possible to assure that I would - and they did. Great example of customer service! I could not be happier right now. At first I was a little frustrated with how long the repairs took, but the great job they did far out-weighs the wait. They made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I even had a minor issue after the repairs were done and they did a great job addressing it and fixing it right away (even though the minor issue actually ended up not being due to the repairs at all). Terrible customer service, don't spend your money there or your time. When I walked in I was asked if I was there to get an estimate because I was having the work done there, if I wasn't getting the work done by them and if I was just looking for a comparison estimate to not waste their time. I was told that they are always too busy and writing an estimate is taking their time. Also the damage to my car was done by the garage door and a trash can right outside by the door. They wouldn't do one claim but rather two claims because the damage was done by two items. I Went with Coach masters they were awesome. Very friendly customer service and they handled everything even dealt with my insurance:-) best part, just one claim. read more

I also had a very bad experience at Hild recently. I went for an estimate and the girl at the front desk acted like it was a huge inconvenience to help me. She was dressed like she should have worked in a bar not a body shop. When one of the guys came to look at my car, he reeked of alcohol. They advertise a high level of professionalism, which couldn't be farther from the truth. It's pretty bad when your employees are sauced in the middle of the afternoon. read more

I was a return customer at Hild, I went in the other day to get an estimate on an insurance claim for my truck being vandalized. First of all the girl at the front was very unfriendly acted like she was put out having to wait on you (keep your personal problems at home lady..spare us). The fellow who looked at my truck diagnosed without knowing all the details, attacked me like I was off base with my claim, the owners son came with my previous file in hand and it conflicted with what the other fellow was trying to state.they were two totally different things, should of been handled as two claims. I told them they should preview my file together, originate the best plan and both be on the same page, they were rude, arrogant , self righteous jerks I was mortified. I'm a successful CEO of two companies a self made entrepreneur, founder of a charity,and a good service provider. I was mortified by their unprofessional treatment and unnecessary arrogance. I will never go back there again and also make sure that all my business acquaintances friends and family never use them as well. Tammy was the only nice one! Keep Tammy get rid of the rest! They screwed me. My vehicle had front end damage (another driver backed into us). Hild did the repair and replaced the ac unit next to the radiator (I think it was the condenser in a Corolla). I got the vehicle back in February and did not use the ac for the first 10 days. On a trip to Chico I noticed the ac would kick on and off. I reported this to Hild immediately that day and took the vehicle to the Hild two days later. Of course the ac worked fine then. Three days later it quit again. Went back to Hild and they agreed it was not working. They could not find the problem and sent it out to an AC specialist mechanic. This mechanic advised the compressor needed to be replaced, $3000. Hild denied responsibility. After fighting with Hild and Farmers Insurance (Michael Walsh) I now have a Corolla in Redding with no ac. I would not recommend Hild to my worst enemy. I also left Farmers after 25+ years and easily found another company for my 8 policies. read more

The beginning was the only good thing about my experience with hild collision center, when I took my car in for an estimate they said it would be done in a week and gave me a ride home, after this is when the nightmare truly began. When I got the call that my car was finished I went to go pick it up, I first noticed upon arrival that the paint job looked all splattered the clear coat was awful, my bumper was uneven, the paint that they were to blend into the quarter panels didn't match, my gas tank door was crooked, it was just awful. When I asked them to redo it, they seemed put off as if I was a bother. They said to bring it back on Monday since it was friday. On my drive home I noticed my hood was loose, when I pulled over it was completely open. (Thankfully I didn't get on the freeway) when I came back Monday they said it would be done by the end of the day, that afternoon when I came back there were huge scratches in the paint that they had just repainted but "didn't notice." So they asked me to bring the car back yet again, after the third time and my car not even up to par with what I find acceptable I decided to take it because I couldn't bare the thought of what else I would find wrong. I would NEVER recommend this company and was very disappointed with the results. I have never been so disappointed in the inspection process. My vehicle has significant front end damage and was at Hild Collision Center. I asked the owner to make sure that the front end suspension and steering be checked to know that the vehicle would be safe to drive. Hild was going to give me back my vehicle without any frame inspection and a estimate for 859.00 to replace both lower control arms. I have my old parts and when the first estimate came through I was shocked to see that he was replacing parts that had nothing to do with the wreck. People we know our vehicles better than anyone else. On the day I drove off his lot I had problems and my vehicle does not drive as it did prior to the accident, be careful with his estimates. You will find all kinds of supplementals added. The cost of repairs way exceeded the value of my car and should have been totalled. Instead I'm stuck driving an unsafe vehicle that could lose my steering at any time, not to mention the missing bolts and inside fender covers and headlights are all falling out. I had the frame measured and it does not line up but (within manufacturers specs) what a crock. I could have done a better job myself. read more
