Eric is the best, owner of Clear View Auto Glass. We ran into so many problems with my windshield. He went above and beyond to get my challenges corrected. Worked with AAA personally and with Subaru. Also was my personal driver when I needed to be picked up and dropped off while my windshield was being replaced. I would recommend him for your next windshield replacement. He will make sure all will be fine in your world, I know he did with me. read more

Clearview Auto Glass was referred to me by Crown Motors, Redding. 2022 RAM 1500 pickup with a leaking power sliding rear window. Quick call with Chris at the front desk and had an appointment scheduled. Eric inspected the window and diagnosed the problem of a cracked window frame. He spent time showing me the issue and detailing the different options I had. Eric found a great price on a replacement OEM rear window and was able to complete the job ahead of schedule. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended. read more

** The only review you need to read ** We were driving N 40 miles outside Redding on the start of a 2000 mile, 12 day vacation drive, when a big-rig cut in front of us to pass and shot up a UFO that flew into our windshield. The damage looked like a gunshot. Needless to say, I was livid as I continued driving down the Interstate! I waited until we got to Redding while my wife looked for a windshield repair place. She found an address for Safelite and we drove there. When we got there, no actual shop was there but fortunately, Clear View was a couple doors down the street. While we sat in the car looking for repair options, a man walked up to unlock their shop. "You looking for us?" he asked. I said, "Yep, can you look at my windshield and give us an assessment? We just got hit 40 miles back." After seeing him grimace at the damage, he said, "Let me see what I can do." He pulled out his tools and began work. He mentioned they were down one crew member that day and other cars were being brought in while he worked on our car, so I knew they were very busy. In no time at all, his skill and expertise turned a potential vacation-buster into a barely noticeable issue that allowed us to continue our trip without any delay. I was amazed. When I pulled out my wallet to pay him, he just put out his hand and said, "Have a great vacation." I shook his hand and said, "Oh no, what do I owe you? You are busy and took time from a busy day to take care of us." He replied, "I'm the owner so it's okay. Have a great vacation." and he stuck out his hand for a second time for me to shake. I was blown away and stunned. The generosity, kindness, and care he showed made my year; it was completely unexpected. Need I say more? This is the company you want fixing your windshield. read more

My daughter took a rock to her windshield a few weeks ago, and I needed to have it replaced before school started. I called Clear View to make an appointment. They came over the next day to my work , and replaced the windshield right there in the parking lot. Eric, who is the owner actually did the work, and he was very neat and clean with the installation. I have had other windshields replaced in the past and when I got my car back, I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning the black goop and all the rubber chunks from the seals off of my dash and carpets. Not with this guy, everyting was wiped down. This guy does a great job, and has very competitive prices. read more

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is they gave me a time frame of 11-2 and at 2:30 my wife had to call and see where they were. She had been waiting around the whole time and had to leave by 4. They weren't able to get there and finish it by 4 so had to be rescheduled for the next day. Other then that no issues. read more

I've had my car less than a month and the rock hit and immediately went across my windshield. Sara in the office was so helpful, especially since we had to get the windshield from the dealer. Eric came to my job, on time, and was very nice. I love that I didn't have that hassle of dropping my car off, and getting rides from someone. It could not be more convenient! Thank you very much for great service and making my new car look new again! read more

Great experience with this company from start to finish. The gentleman I first spoke to on the phone was quick to quote me a price with no ridiculous extra charges that would have to be figured out at the time of install like everyone else I had called. Also, the cost was EXTREMELY lower than all the rest and they came to my home! I'd like to also say, the young man who installed our windshield corrected me when I gave him more than what the bill said, and I'd been none the wiser, and my husband finally got me to buy glasses as a result, too! Lol! Yes, the world is much clearer today with both my glasses and the new windshield! Thanks! read more

Took a rock to the windshield, instant crack. I had my 2012 Subaru Outback in for service on the same day. They recommended Clear View very highly. Spoke with my insurance (All state), come to find out that they are on their preferred list. They put us on a three way call, I set up a appointment for 2 days later. The technician showed up at my office promptly at 8:00 a.m and was done installing my windshield in 45 minutes. He did a great job and explained the do's and don'ts for the first 24 hours. I will definitely recommend to all friends and family. read more
