Jeff is a very nice gentleman. As soon as I arrived at his garage today he greeted me by name ( I had made an appointment) and got working on my cracked windshield right away and was done within an hour. The price isn't comparable to the cheap road side windshield chip places. I paid 45$ for a quarter sized chip. However Jeff is the only one who guarantees that the chipped area won't keep cracking further. Also he actually supports the windshield where it has been cracked. I can still see the area but its a lot less noticeable. After the repair was done I didn't need to follow any further precautions like "don't put the car in the sun" or "don't wash yet" and such. Picture this: Friday 4 PM, 35 minutes from shop, on road home 200 miles away, get window chip that must be fixed immediately (very expensive windshield that previously irreparably cracked because of chip around edge).
