I was on vacation in Shasta County recently, staying at an air bnb. The gardener accidentally hit my car window with the handle of his weedwacker, making a hole about the size of a hockey puck at first, which then shattered completely. I called my insurance company which suggested three other auto glass places, none of which had appointments until next month. I kept googling and calling a few more auto glass companies. No one had the window my car needed in stock, nor did they seem too interested in doing what I needed in a short turnaround time. I got ahold of Wendy at Cypress Auto Glass and explained my unfortunate situation to her. She really worked with me and put me in the first appointment the next day! They were able to get my window delivered to their shop in under 24 hours. I was told it would be about an hour and a half for my job to be completed. I had an appointment at 2pm to get a broken windshield repaired in my Prius. After checking the model number on my VIN plate it was discovered that the model listed was incorrect so the incorrect glass was delivered for my appointment. I had to be in San Francisco the next day for a medical appointment. Ryan and Wendy worked all afternoon and evening after removing the broken windshield getting measurements so the correct windshield could be installed. Wendy even gave me a ride that afternoon so I could make an appointment down the street. By 8:30am the next morning they had the correct windshield in and installed so I could hit the road. It's really rare these days to see this level of concern and customer service to make a situation that wasn't their fault go right for a customer. Had an absolutely great experience with these folks, my back window was broken out with a rock overnight and my insurance did not cover the damages done. I called around to a couple places including safelite which was a mistake they were going to charge 300 plus dollars to have it repaired and weren't going to be able to repair it for three days!! So I called cypress auto glass and spoke with Eric who told me he had the the back glass that I needed but it just needed a little patch on the seal and he told me he would cut me a great deal in which he did. From the first moments I spoke to Wendy I felt that these are people who really do care about people. My windshield was leaking and the odor was terrible from all the water pooling up on the floorboards. They responded right away before arriving to work and set up a time to fix the issue the same day. The price was right. They replaced the glass as promised in one hour. What happened later on really humbled me. My car wouldn't start just before closing time. Instead of closing shop and heading for the bank, they refused to leave me all alone in the empty parking lot at night and would not leave until a mechanic and a ride came. They even offered to store my car in their garage overnight so that it would not be vandalized. These are very special folks! read more

Above and beyond customer service!! Wendy and Ryan are so nice. I called late Friday afternoon close to closing time to see if they could fix my window regulator. Ryan asked if he could call me back. Wendy called me back and gave me a great price. I asked her if they could do it Monday and she replied " I thought you wanted it done today." I was so surprised since I knew they were already closed for the weekend. I said that would be great! Are you sure? Wendy said we're here, come on over. I hate to admit it but twice now I've thrown a rock (weed eating) into the black privacy glass on my SUV . New glass runs over $300 . Cypress Auto Glass replaced my window each time for under $175 . The glass looks as good as new and the installation is as good as it gets . They've since replaced the front windshield and driver's side mirror on my kids van also . AWESOME! I recently needed a new windshield for my mitsubishi eclipse, these guys were by far cheaper than the other shops i called including platinum auto glass they were almost $75 more. These folks were terrific! I stopped by about 4:15p on a Friday afternoon and asked what it would cost to fill the crack in my windshield. They did it right then, in about 10 minutes. Only $20. Well, we were having a hard time finding a replacement for our broken sunroof glass without replacing the entire assembly. Our rig was not worth the cost of complete replacement. Ryan fabricated a replacement that was economical and works fine. I recommend them. read more
