Fish sandwich! Watch out for our Lent Specials

I have been eating here for about 6 years! Always great food and service. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can't go wrong. If you ask for something and they don't have it, they will make every effort to get it to be on special if possible. Go in and see for yourself. Friendly staff. Great food. Great service!

This is how good my chili was! Food was great as always. Employees are always pleasant here and ambiance is chill and cozy. Will be back.

Ambiance was great in the original classic diner but had a slight odor. We ordered a Sideliner and creamed chipped beef over toast with homefries. Food was cooked to order. Sideliner was very good according to my husband, however, my creamed chipped beef was quite dry (the gravy part)--the potatoes were good though. Service was good and friendly. Prices were on par for the area. Parking is in the back of the building.

The old time diner has a new life with the new ownership. The place was crowded, but efficient friendly service was given. The real treat is the expertly prepared breakfasts. Will come back daily.

Loved this joint. I was visiting the town for a wedding, and went for breakfast on Sunday. You can tell a lot of people consider this their "3rd place" - comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere-- kind to newcomers. Staff had some funny banter with regulars and newcomers. My food was fantastic- exactly what you want for breakfast - pancakes were super tasty and my eggs were cooked perfect. Big fan- will be back when back in town.

Food is typical diner fare. Very friendly staff and good service. I'll be back, but it's not in my favorites list.

Never been let down. Other food I've liked: - Liver with sautéd onions (good) - Pasta Jabalaya (really good) - Turkey and Gravy (wouldn't recommend)

I was on my way to my hotel, passing by starving and decided to give it a try. I understand it was a Sunday evening, not too busy the staff were a bit confused on what server had my table. Thankful for the young lady who took my order and care of my table. The entree that I ordered for dinner, wasn't the best in quality or taste. I ordered Captial Chicken.. the description read grilled chicken, pieces of crab meat , broccoli Swiss cheese, and hollandaise sauce, with two sides. The chicken in my opinion, wasn't grilled, extremely chewy , didn't really taste any crab and the holldaise sauce bland. My waitress I overheard say to the kitchen, something to the kitchen about adding paprika to the dish. Luckily I caught it, and declined. That wasn't even listed on the menu as added to the dish. May need a refresh on chicken preparation . This diner sadly wouldn't be my choice to return for an entree. Perhaps, maybe what diners are best for breakfast.

This is airport food. You're not getting a piece of lettuce for under $12. That said, our server…read moreJoyce was a sweetheart. I ordered the French dip and she said it was her favorite sandwich. I know why, it's a solid French dip! We got our food in 8 minutes after we ordered, I'm not sure if Joyce said anything to the cooks because I did mention I was starving lol. My partner got a chicken torta - I would call this an Americanized chicken torta. It came on some sort of grain bread. Still tasty, the thinly sliced jalapeños gave it a nice kick. The cafe was fairly busy but service was quick. Do I wish they served fries instead of chips, yes, but beggars can't be choosers. Again, it's airport food but it's pretty good for what it is. I would go back just to say hello to Joyce!

Good customer service isn't complicated: acknowledge guests, communicate clearly, and treat people…read morewith basic respect. In a slow airport restaurant, every customer matters -- not just for the sale, but for tips and repeat business. Ignoring patrons, responding with passive-aggressive attitudes, and offering sarcastic remarks doesn't just hurt the customer experience, it directly hurts employee earnings and the restaurant's reputation. When staff complain about low tips or slow business but fail to recognize how their own attitude drives customers away, that's not bad luck -- that's bad service. Common sense says that professionalism brings profit, while poor behavior guarantees the opposite. If I was the owner I would be concerned.
