    Chicken Strips

This was was our on restaurant list for Ojai and we finally got to try it out. The outdoor seating was nice and refreshing! I got the Chicken Caesar Wrap and Matcha Latte. The wrap was delicious, but the chicken was pretty dry. I couldn't finish the second half of my wrap because of that. The matcha was honestly more milk than matcha. I actually had to ask for a side of vanilla syrup to pour in, but ended up making it sweet than I'd like. Service was great! I loved the outdoor seating because the big tree in the middle also provided some shade. Overall, it's a nice place to have brunch! I'd probably look at different menu items though.

    Breakfast burrito with bacon

Great breakfast burrito! The spot we originally wanted to try was closed so I finally took Highly Likely off my list of places to try and I was so pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed our meal. While at the playground, I ordered my meal online for pickup (mom tip!) and within 20min it was ready for us. We got 2 breakfast burritos with bacon and a piña colada matcha. The burrito was an explosion of flavors quite literally with their inclusion of mini cherry tomatoes. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Love the spice the burrito has as well. The matcha was good. Nicely balanced and not too overpowering with their piña colada flavoring. For dessert, we tried their miso chocolate chip cookie and that also was a pleasant sweet treat. The location is very nice and I look forward to dining in soon.

Highly likely is that special place with amazing food, drinks and people that feels just right! A definite winner on all fronts. We decided to walk through Ojai and take in some great sights, fresh air and of course get in some healthy steps. Well, we stumbled upon Highly Likely and spoke with the hostess about viewing the menu and she gave us two menus and was quite kind. We decided to sit at the bar. That's where we met Jessica and Adrian, the dynamic duo. What amazing individuals. Carli also provided assistance and you could feel genuine love and caring hearts that not only enjoy their positions but truly love people. Ofcourse we were not familiar with the menu and Adrian helped me with my selection of chiliquiles with grilled chicken and Jessica helped my wife with her egg breakfast plate. Carli brought out our drinks as my wife had a great tasting cappuccino and I had an Americano. Both drinks were fantastic. Adrian and Jessica also helped me as I asked for cranberry juice which they don't carry although better yet they both recommended the hibiscus lemon spritzer juice. It was so good and refreshing. We also had some great conversations with both Adrian and Jessica which we truly enjoyed. I must say the staff here are phenomenal and so authentic and genuinely kind. We just loved our meals and the way these amazing individuals make you feel so welcomed and like family. Everything was beyond great. This is a very popular place and the outdoor patio and adjacent boutique are added bonuses. We will certainly be back for more good food and good times! Highly recommended

White Bean Caesar (with za'atar dressing to make it vegetarian)
    Matt J.

I want to try the White Bean Caesar again given that consistency has been a pitfall at Highly Likely, but the first go round was delicious. The variety of ingredients was well-executed, the crispy shallots and fried capers mingling with the smooth Gigante beans. The beans were an especially inspired choice, an under-utilized protein. I'm also grateful that the staff substituted za'atar dressing to make the salad vegetarian since there is fish sauce in the Caesar. I'd recommend this tweak regardless of dietary preferences. All in all, it was very satisfying, my only criticism being that it's a one-note dish that banks on the saltiness of the Parmesan. I could eat good Parmesan by the bucket, but its flavor dominance makes for a less-compelling dish. Adjusting the ratio of cheese to everything else would ultimately improve the experience. Nonetheless, it's a creative version of the ubiquitous kale Caesar and I'd order it again. As far as atmosphere goes, it doesn't get much better than the restaurant's patio on a warm Ojai evening. (p.s. I do somewhat miss their lighter kale salad with squash, but all good things come to an end).

    Breakfast Burrito.

Great cafe in Ojai. We went for breakfast but you can also get lunch. There were quite a lot of people there and by the time we left there were at least 10 people waiting. The food came out fairly quick and tasted really good. My burrito was on point. My wife had the avocado toast which hit the spot. We also had a side Halloumi which is not typically something you often see in a restaurant. The service was a little bit slow initially but picked up quickly. Everybody was nice and very helpful. The cafe is nice, my only complaint was that it was a bit cold in there due to the AC being on full blast. Will we go back next time we go to Ojai? Highly Likely!

    **Seedy Schnitzel

This restaurants inside is very nicely decorated with lots of outdoor light! We got the steak frites and schnitzel, both of which were great. The steak sauce could have used a little more salt, but otherwise was delicious. The drink we got was strong, the True Blue. I would return!

Came here for brunch on a day trip to Ojai with my mom. We came on a Saturday with no reservation and were able to be seated immediately. We chose to sit indoors but they also have outdoor seating that was available to sit immediately. Highly Likely is located in a plaza with a bunch of parking availability so you don't have to worry about that. Service was quick and fast and I loved the decor of this place! Matcha Latte 3/5, this was just okay, I think I would opt for another drink if I returned Maple Leaf 3/5, my mom got this and also voted it was just okay and that she couldn't taste the coconut that's supposed to be present Sesame Waffle 3.5/5, was this a good waffle? Yes! Was it especially unique like I was expecting given its sesame nature with miso butter? No :( the waffle itself was good! I really could not taste any major sesame tones but the miso butter was nice and unique Tuna Melt 4/5, my mom got this and liked the small spice from the Korean gochujang

    Inside seating

Highly Likely is such a beautiful new spot -- bright, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of seating and free Wi-Fi, making it the perfect place to grab coffee, enjoy a great meal, or get some work done in a relaxed setting. We ordered the burger and the falafel plate, and both were fantastic. The burger was perfectly cooked -- juicy, flavorful, and balanced -- while the falafel bites were light, crispy, and paired perfectly with the pesto on the plate. The matchas were also amazing, especially the passionfruit matcha topped with their cold foam -- refreshing, unique, and just sweet enough. Everything we tried was delicious, and the space itself has such a welcoming energy. Can't wait to come back.

Went for dinner. The food was just ok. The bolognese was too salty and the pasta was overcooked. The chicken was on the dry side and overcooked. Service was very friendly and the food was served quickly. Portions way small for prices charged. This is a new way to charge more without raising prices. Dissatisfied, but the ambiance is nicely done... modern and understated. Patio seating is great. Perhaps the breakfast is their strongest value. Will we come back? not likely.

    KISS (keep it simple salad)
    Ching L.

Got their KISS (Keep it Simple Salad) which was actually surprisingly light and delicious. Nice citrusy flavor without overwhelming, good amount of parm and crunchy croutons. I had their Chagaccino iced which was so excellent and refreshing on a hot summer day. My friend got some oatmilk matcha drink with cold foam which I don't remember the name of now. That was also delicious! The banana matcha cocktail was skippable. It sounded so delicious but ended up tasting just kind of cough syrup-y. Also the sesame waffle with miso butter was rather dry and the miso butter just tasted like regular butter. Service was great though and the outdoor patio area had a beautiful view of the mountains! Great ambiance!

My friend, who is from Ojai, took me to this restaurant and I loved it. First, lovely ambiance. The service was good and friendly. They have outdoor seating Suitable for couples, families, and groups of friends. At the first visit, I ordered a Lavender Honey Latte. I ordered an Iced latte, but they gave me a hot one. I didn't mind, so I had it, but they gave me an iced one later when they noticed it. The second time, I ordered a Good Turkey Sando, which was delicious. The pickles on the side reminded me of Japanese pickles. I could taste the good quality of all the materials. Please note that they only accept card payments. I didn't mind it because I always pay with a credit card. . This restaurant is conveniently located near the Westridge Midtown Market, allowing you to stop by after your grocery shopping. Parking is in front of the restaurant.

I stop in here for iced tea occasionally. It has a nice vibe with pleasant music and nice outdoor tables. Prices are Ojai high, but service is quick and friendly. The menu looks good, so I will be back to try a meal next time.

My other friend did not enjoy her drink and in her opinion was possibly the worst latte you could ever have at a whopping $10 a pop. I'm not really sure why the owner, Stacy, felt entitled to ask I take down my review. But it will in fact stay, and I hope every person who ventures to visit this coffee shop stays away. Yelp was made to make honest reviews about one's experiences. Smart business owners know not everyone will have the same experience. I had seen someone post about their matcha affogato so I had to go with my husband to try it. It is off of one of Ojai's Main Street so it can get loud if you are planning to stay and sit. No private parking but there's plenty of street parking around the area. There's limited seating outside. It was a bit confusing to us but it does seem like its first come for seating. Inside is pretty small to order. It is really cute how it's like a mini market with wine and other items. We for sure went wanting to try their matcha affogato which we got. It's bright, clean, and has this easy organic warmth to it... the kind of place that feels like it was put together by people who actually care. Right off the main road, easy to find, and the family vibes are real. It's the kind of spot you want to linger in. If you're navigating dietary restrictions, this place is a quiet goldmine. Strong gluten free options, a genuinely vegan friendly menu, and plenty of vegetarian choices too... so everyone at the table actually gets to eat something they're excited about. That's rarer than it should be. The food? Solid. I went with the raw tacos, sopes, and huarache; all filling, all fairly priced for the area. The raw tacos especially surprised me... fresh, flavorful, and not in a "I wish this was a real taco" kind of way. These hold their own. Service was quick and most of the staff had a warm, genuine energy about them. The one small snag; the cashier seemed to be having a rough one. A little gruff, made me feel like my first visit was mildly inconvenient for them. It happens, we all have bad days, but first impressions do stick a little. Overall though, I'm absolutely coming back. There's more on that menu calling my name and an atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down for a bit.
