**MY PREVIOUS REVIEW RECOMMENDING NO LEAK HOME IMPROVEMENTS IS OFFICIALLY NULL AND VOID.**
After countless phone calls to this company, I have completely lost hope. Endless promises that Tim (the owner) will call me back, yet he NEVER does.
Let me explain how this nightmare began.
**This company showed up at my mother's doorstep, unsolicited, and CONVINCED her that she could get a brand-new roof through her homeowners insurance.** What was presented as an opportunity to improve and protect her home has turned into an absolute nightmare.
**No Leak Home Improvements performed roofing work on my parents' home WITHOUT OBTAINING THE REQUIRED PERMIT.**
Today, the roof was inspected, and our concerns were validated. The inspectors identified issues requiring correction, described the workmanship as sloppy and messy, and raised concerns about the chimney that could lead to future problems.
Let that sink in.
A company knocks on your door, convinces you to pursue a new roof through your insurance, completes the work without the required permit, leaves behind workmanship that inspectors have identified as problematic, and then becomes nearly impossible to reach when you need answers.
**From my perspective, this entire experience feels like a money grab.** They were eager to secure the job, but getting someone to take responsibility for the problems afterward has been a completely different story.
My parents trusted this company with one of the most important investments they own: their home. They deserved quality workmanship, honesty, professionalism, and a contractor who would stand behind the work performed.
Instead, we're left with roofing issues that need to be corrected, concerns about potential future problems around the chimney, and an owner who repeatedly promises to return our calls but never follows through.
**WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?**
A roof is not some minor cosmetic improvement. It protects everything and everyone underneath it. My parents should not have to chase down a contractor to address problems with work they already paid to have completed properly.
And what makes this even more disappointing?
**I PREVIOUSLY LEFT THIS COMPANY A POSITIVE REVIEW.**
I genuinely believed I was recommending a trustworthy business. I was wrong about the experience my family would ultimately have, and I refuse to let that previous recommendation stand without correcting the record.
**PLEASE, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE HIRING NO LEAK HOME IMPROVEMENTS.**
Verify permits with your local building department. Get everything in writing. Ask questions about insurance claims. And don't assume that someone showing up at your door offering to help you get a new roof necessarily has your best interests at heart.
**A company's reputation isn't defined by how convincingly it sells a job. It's defined by the quality of its work and how it treats customers when something goes wrong.**
Tim, if you're reading this, my parents are STILL waiting for that phone call.
**They deserve answers. They deserve accountability. And they deserve to have the problems with their roof addressed.**
