Large portions of the agreed-upon cleanup were not performed at all. More concerning, the company later claimed credit for work that I personally completed myself, such as clearing one of our garden beds. They continue to assert that services were performed that demonstrably were not. Despite the minimal work completed, Great Outdoors is attempting to charge nearly $400 for what amounted to cutting back several hydrangea bushes--not even proper pruning--and little else. This charge is wildly disproportionate to the work actually done and was justified after the fact with unsupported labor claims. In addition to inaccurate and deceptive billing practices, communication was inconsistent, responses were delayed or evasive, and scheduling services was difficult throughout the process. Based on my experience, Great Outdoors' billing practices lack transparency, and their representations about work performed cannot be relied upon. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking honest, professional landscaping services.
