They did such a great job and our trees were looking so lush. Fast forward to this summer when a BIG storm took down a branch that just missed the corner of our house. On inspection of the branch, it was super duper hollow and riddled with carpenter ants. We were convinced our tree was toast and knew we knew we needed to call Handy Feller to give us the bad news. When Lon showed up to check out the scene, he assumed we made up our minds and told us their schedule is getting pretty far into autumn. When I said we're so bummed to see it go he kind of lit up a bit and basically said "well, not to talk myself out of work, but your tree is actually fine" and gave us tips on getting rid of the ants. We were so relieved and that made us respect Handy Feller even more.
