We came for our Anniversary and Tristan was our server he was great!! We had the rib eye, Brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, wedge salad and a little treat to celebrate our special day. The rib eye was delicious. We did make a reservation and were there before it was too crowded. The restaurant was clean and plenty of space in the tables not feeling crowded. Great evening!

I love their lamp chops that are cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. But my secret treat is oysters, yes raw oysters on the shell. Their presentation is beyond brilliant. I remember to take a picture. Yum yum It's funny when I go there because the waitress or manager will say, oysters? And I smile as I shake my head YES!

Attending a concert at Thunder Valley so finally got a chance to try out this restaurant. Had a reservation was seated immediately. Waiter and staff were all pleasant and very accommodating. Bread came out 1st, warm and very delicious. Food took quite a bit of time though about 30 mins. Ordered a salmon salad special wasn't aware the salmon was prepared raw but that was my mistake not the restaurant. Also ordered mac n cheese and a filet Mignon topped with crab. Steak is by far the star of the show but could use a little more seasoning. The Mac n cheese I probably wouldn't order again. Cheese was more runny than I prefer gave kind of a velveeta vibe. Overall a good experience but for the price I might go to another restaurant in the casino.

I ended 2025 at High Steaks and it did not disappoint. I have been dining at High Steaks for many years and the quality of the food and the service has always been phenomenal. The filet was prepared to the perfect temperature of medium rare. I love the tenderness of the filet. The lobster was very delicious. I do not recall the name of the dessert. The sauce was a red wine reduction and it paired nicely with the dessert. Looking forward to my next visit.

I made reservations for my friend's birthday and had a fabulous dining experience with only two exceptions, which is the reason for my 4 star rating, rather than 5. Parking was very easy. We used the complimentary casino valet and even had both of our doors open for us which is a rare treat. We ordered a glass of Wise Villa Red Blend Wisdom of Wise (as Lincoln residents, we gotta keep it local!) and it's delicious! They served a very nice platter of fresh breads and butter and the crispy bread cracker like wedges were so good. Then, we started with an order of the bacon wrapped shrimp with toasted tobacco onions and it was AMAZING! They always provide some kind of sample to try and it was a some kind of seasoned grain dish and very tasty. I ordered the wagyu hamburger with truffle fries and my friend ordered the scallops. Here's where things went a bit sideways. I was facing the kitchen and saw my burger sitting under the heat lamps for over 20 minutes and right before my friend's scallops were ready, they pulled the burger down and I'm guessing added fresh fries. I should have said something but didn't want to disrupt our nice evening with any negativity but my friend felt so bad, it kind of put a damper on the dinner anyway. The burger bun was way too big and the pickle was warm and limp along with the lettuce and tomatoes. My medium cooked burger request was now well done thanks to over 20 minutes under heat lamps. I only ate part of one burger patty and my dogs enjoyed the second patty when I got home. The fries were very good! So, my main course was a bit of a bust but the dessert made up for it. My friend was given a complimentary chocolate mousse desert with a lit candle so I could sing to her and then we wanted to share the lemon cheesecake with was served looking like a real lemon. 5 stars for this dessert. Finally, they served the best tasting salted chocolate toffee (complimentary!) and it was the best toffee I've ever had. I will return and was thinking of bringing another friend but she is sensitive to smells and the cigarette smoke that drifted in from the casino would definitely not work for her. At first, I almost couldn't believe that so many people still smoked indoors but it is a casino after all. Next time I visit, I will ask for a table a bit further from the front door to minimize the second hand smoke smell and order the crab cakes, the bacon wrapped shrimp, one of their salads and of course the fabulous lemon cheesecake!

Oh My God -- High Stakes Is a Standout Steakhouse Oh my God. High Stakes is hands down one of my favorite steakhouses in the Sacramento Valley area. In my mind, the food and service here go toe-to-toe with some very serious restaurants -- even ones with Michelin stars, like The Kitchen. That's not something I say lightly. I honestly wish I had the vocabulary to fully capture what this place does so well. The texture and taste of the desserts, the elegance of the atmosphere, and the absolute symphony of flavors coming out on each plate deserve poetic language I may not quite have. Just know this: every bite feels intentional and elevated. This is an excellent spot for celebrations -- birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasion -- but don't sleep on coming here just because you want an exceptional meal. You don't need an excuse to eat this well. That said, let's be clear: this is not cheap. And it shouldn't be. You can't expect a five-star experience at one-star prices. Come prepared to pay for quality, and you'll leave satisfied. One of the most pleasant surprises came after dinner. We were attending a concert at the venue nearby and were trying to figure out what to do with our leftovers. Without us even asking, the staff offered to keep our food refrigerated while we attended the concert. All they needed was our name. When we returned to pick it up, the service was still top-notch -- thoughtful, professional, and gracious. That level of care is rare and appreciated. High Stakes isn't just about great food -- it's about a complete experience. And they nail it.

New Zealand King Salmon ($54)
Oid N.

Waitress 5*****. Server 5*****. Rest of the staff 5*****. Salmon was cooked to perfection. The skin came out crispy but not Burnt. The salmon tasted great with a nice texture-pretty solid yet soft when bitten. For $54 tho, I was expecting it to come with a little side dish like steamed vegetables or rice pilaf, but it was just the salmon in the middle of a big plate. It's a good thing that we bought a side of broccolini. I can't really say much about the Filet Mignon. With a price tag of $78, it was not worth it. What made the Mother's Day experience memorable was the staff from the greeter to the person that sat us, and the waiter and server (Rachel and John I think) were all pleasant and welcoming and made us feel like they were doing their part to make our experience a memorable one. I do plan on coming back tho and try other dishes.

Visited on a September Tuesday night for the prime ribs special. The moment I stepped into the steakhouse, I knew I was in for a high-stakes (pun intended) experience. Dim lighting, rich red booths, and stone pillars gave the room the kind of old-school Vegas charm. The prime rib was a winner--juicy, tender, and soaking in au jus like it was born to bathe in luxury. Every slice felt like I'd hit blackjack. The wagyu burger was pure indulgence--beefy, cheesy, and decadent enough to distract me from the wine I was supposed to be sipping slowly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations. Left richer in calories, poorer in self-control, and totally satisfied.

Had a fabulous dinner at High Steaks! It is always so warm and inviting. We love the chef's amuse bouche! Everyone there is amazing! We enjoyed the gentleman's cut steak with the Dijon sauce, crispy fried onions and the shrimp!! Creamed spinach was a perfect vege side for it! The fresh bread is excellent! Delicious chocolate cake to top it all off. Looking forward to our next visit!!

My husband and I sat at the bar at High Steaks and had a flawless experience. Our bartender, Lukas, was amazing and makes the best espresso martinis you'll ever taste! We shared the 8 oz. Japanese Wagyu A5 Filet Mignon, and it was hands-down the best filet we have ever tasted--absolutely melted in our mouths. The sides and salad were equally fantastic. To top it off, the manager, Ayhan, stopped by to check on us, he is such an asset! Elite service all around. We'll definitely be back soon!

The chopped salad was very good with nice big chunks of bacon and the Salmon was nice and fresh and filling. The waiter Stefano pay close attention to our needs and made sure he provided us with excellent service. This is an elegant casual ambiance environment here. This is a setting it hard for me to explain it's a difficult to describe.

We didn't have reservations, but after having a few drinks and gambling, we got the urge for a good steak. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they were able to accommodate us for a table of 12 at 9 PM. We were sat in a private room that accommodated 12 people. It was a very nice room for an intimate dinner. We had one server and she did well taking out orders. She also had someone make sure our water and drink cups were full. We received complimentary bread and butter. Came warm. I had the ribeye, cooked well. I noticed that the outside was cooked great but the inside was more on the rare side. Once our dinner came, she didn't come as often but I did manage to ask her helper if I can get my steak to be cooked a little more. When our server came, most were done with their food so I just asked her to box it up for me after. She was nice to do so. I tried a piece of the salmon and it was very juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection. As for sides, we had the puréed potatoes, which were very creamy, the sautéed spinach had a mint taste to it but needed salt in my opinion. The mushrooms I do recommend. The bacon wrapped shrimp was a bit too salty, and had a wasabi type taste. The mac & cheese was really good, he can taste a sharp cheddar so if you like that, definitely go with the mac & cheese. overall, we had a pleasant dinner. I'd recommend if you're gambling at the casino and get that urge for a steak or salmon.

We were greeted by Lindsey who was an absolute gem and a Pitty lover! Brutus was happy on the cool concrete and grateful for the bowl of water that she gave him including the copious dog lovings. The owner happened to come by as well and he too was very friendly which set the tone for our visit. I was very much in the mood for sushi (because of the hot weather) which I planned to get a to go order from the place next store on the way home. I was satisfied with having a beer while my mom ate flatbread and enjoyed a cold one as well. However, when the flatbread came. I realized that things 'really' had changed at Citizen Vine. The offering looked great. I'm a foodie. I know at a glance and that's all that it took when here flatbread arrived. Which I enjoyed instantly. Sushi? What sushi? We followed up with some tacos. Boom, batting 2 for 2. Yep, the food game is legit at Citizen Vine, the beer was just what the Dr. ordered so I did not peruse the wine list, it was midday and hot! Our meal started with a watermelon salad which was quite tasty and refreshing. So nice and light for a warm summer day. Next came a corn soup that had to be the creamiest and most delicious corn soup I've ever had. YUM! The flavors melded so well together with a variety of ingredients to make it complex. The addition of peppers (I believe Pablano) really added a nice light kick. I chose the filet mignon and prawns as my entree which came with asparagus. The filet minon was exceptional. It cut like butter and flavored to perfection. The prawns, as well, were very satisfying. Dessert topped it off nicely and I had it with a cup of coffee. The coffee was high quality and brewed well. The dessert was a sliced peach with a whipped cream and nuts. Simple but very good. Overall, a very pleasant experience. It's a place to go with friends for an upscale meal or perhaps to celebrate something special. I will definitely return!

Right from the moment I walked through the door, the first thing I noticed was how clean and well-maintained the entire establishment was. The ambiance set a great tone for the evening, which was immediately backed up by very good service. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and paced the meal perfectly, making sure we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. The culinary experience started on a high note with the complimentary bread service. The bread was fresh, warm, and very tasty, especially when paired with the delicious butter provided. Next up was the fried calamari appetizer, which turned out to be another highlight of the night. It arrived at the table well-seasoned and perfectly crispy, avoiding the rubbery texture that ruins so many seafood dishes. They also served a salad that honestly looked quite good and fresh. However, I didn't pay it too much attention, let's be honest, nobody comes to a high-end steakhouse to eat rabbit food, so it went mostly untouched. For the main course, the sides and the presentation were mostly impressive. The baked beans were a standout companion to the meal, cooked until they were soft and packed with flavor. Then came the main event: the prime rib. In terms of preparation, the kitchen nearly nailed it. It was incredibly juicy, tender, and beautifully seasoned, arriving at a near-perfect medium-rare. Unfortunately, the execution was marred by a major butchery oversight. One entire end of the cut was completely un-trimmed, consisting of pure fat and silver skin. Because of this lack of preparation, only about 9 ounces of the 12-ounce portion was actually edible. Bottom line: The flavor profiles here are undeniable. Everything we tasted was very good, but the failure to properly trim a premium cut of meat was a disappointing mistake for a steakhouse. I would still recommend giving them a try, but hopefully, the kitchen pays a bit closer attention to their butchery next time.

My friends' cocktail, ordered at the time we questioned the food quality differences..arrived after the Manager came to our table to inquire why we were not happy with our dinner..our server did not ever come back and ask how our meal was and I had to go to the cocktail server to ask for ketchup for the barely warm, tasteless fries.. Will not be back.

We came here to celebrate our birthdays and enjoyed the West Coast oysters ( Kumamoto & Shigoku), the risotto & mushroom special, the Wagyu special, the duck confit, and the smashburger! All were excellent to share! Cocktails were also delish too! Can't wait to come back and visit for a 3rd time. Thanks, Ari!!!

We came to Reds' Bistro with a party of six to celebrate a birthday, and overall, we had a…read morewonderful experience. We started with drinks and appetizers. I personally ordered the oysters and the duck leg confit. Honestly, everything we ordered, from the appetizers to the entrées, was absolutely amazing. The flavors were paired so well, and every dish was incredibly impressive. You could really tell there was a lot of thought put into the menu and the flavor combinations. The only downside was the bar service. There was only one bartender working, and our drinks took almost as long to arrive as our food. I ordered an extra dirty martini with olives, but when it arrived, it was essentially just vodka and did not have the dirty olive brine I had requested. I asked for some additional olive juice on the side so I could correct the drink myself, but unfortunately, that took another 30 minutes to arrive. That being said, the food absolutely stole the show. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality, presentation, and flavor. I would absolutely come back for the food and would love to give them another try. Hopefully, with a little more support behind the bar, the service will match the quality of the food.
