Went for their Lunch Churrasco Experience ($55 per person). Arrived right after opening and they had a pretry reasonable crowd for a Tuesday! Walked in and got seated immediately. The Market Table had great variety! My favorite were the fresh fruits. Our favorite tableside cuts were the spicy steak, the chicken thigh and drum (so juicy!), and the cheese and honey was the absolute best. I'd also recommend the grilled pineapple, reminded me of apple pie filling! read more

Came here for the first time for my husbands birthday. We have enjoyed other Brazilian steakhouses in the past and had high expectations for this one. The interior decor of the restaurant was beautiful and the ambiance was nice. We had a reservation and were sat quickly however it took the server about ten minutes to check in with us and offer drinks. They were busy but it takes a second to come say hi and let your table know you will be with them shortly. And this is coming from someone who used to serve for years so Im usually pretty chill with slower service if there is communication. Now for the bad--the food. We picked the basic experience because for the next level one the food is not unlimited and you get to pick ONE addition and a dessert on the house. We decided to order the seafood à la carte. They started coming around with the meat and one after the other was completely under-seasoned. Like lacked ANY salt or pepper. We typically don't like overly seasoned food but these meats had no seasoning whatsoever. A lot of the meats were very fatty and given the lack of seasoning were not good even after we generously salted them. My husband said his lobster was okay. I ordered the bone marrow and had the send it back. It was overly oily and did not smell fresh at all. When it arrived to the tables the smell was nauseating as if it was spoiled. The server said they cover it with a chimichurri but all I saw was a thick layer of oil. The salad and sides buffet was very empty and fairly disappointing. For the hot sides we were served one small side of mashed potatoes to share and a few pan seared plantains. My favorite part was the cheesy bread and that's sad to say when you're coming to steakhouse to enjoy a variety of meats. Overall the experience was very disappointing and definitely not worth the over $200 bill (with two drinks). We arrived for a 5:30pm reservation only to be told that it's going to be a 30-to 45 minute wait in a very sarcastic way. Then while sitting in the waiting area three employees thought it was laughable that people that made reservations have a long wait in a snobby way which is very unprofessional and unpleasant for customers to here. We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse with a group of 7, and unfortunately it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. Part of our party arrived before us, and when we arrived about 15 minutes later, our table erupted with hugs and a loud "surprise!" celebration. Despite it being obvious we were celebrating a birthday, our waiter, who I believe was named Kay, never acknowledged us, welcomed us, or explained how the restaurant works. We sat for 15-20 minutes without anyone taking our drink order, bringing our table medallions, or explaining the meat service or salad bar. Eventually, we got up ourselves and went to the food bar because nobody had come by. When we returned, still no server. Finally, someone approached the table, and when we asked who our waiter was, he simply said, "That's me. What would you like?" No greeting, no "happy birthday," nothing. After taking our drink order, we asked when we'd receive our medallions. About 15 minutes later they finally arrived. By this point, we had already been there close to an hour and still hadn't received any meat service. We then asked if there were separate plates for the meat, and the waiter casually responded, "Yeah, they're at the bar." We were left wondering... are we supposed to go get them ourselves? Throughout the evening, our waiter rarely checked on us. Members of our party repeatedly had to get up and refill their own drinks at the bar including soft drinks. On top of the terrible service, the food at the bar was bland, and the meat service was extremely slow and inconsistent. It honestly felt like we were begging for food and drinks all night. I also ordered a lobster tail, and when it arrived, it looked incomplete. I asked the waiter where the rest of it was, and he completely ignored the question. What's disappointing is that our group remained polite and patient the entire night. No attitudes, no complaints at the table. We truly tried to go with the flow and enjoy the celebration. Looking back, though, the situation absolutely should have been addressed. A manager seeing guests repeatedly getting their own drinks should have checked in to see what was going on, or at the very least acknowledged the birthday celebration. About $900 later, none of us will ever return. We've been to other Brazilian steakhouses in town and received far better food and service. This experience was beyond disappointing. read more

We come here regularly for happy hour, and the food is always delicious. Today, I went with the Picancha bugger which both delicious and filling. Also had the the Saucy Legs. If you like a bit of spice you love these! They are not too hot. For cocktails they are always fantastic. One thing to be be careful of is to stick to the happy hour menu for pricing. One time Iis ordered a house old-fashioned happy hour, but it was a full price. Bar service is excellent. The food service was off a bit. For example, ordered extra catchup and chimichurri sauce but they never made it to the table. But I come back yes continue to come back. Food and drink s just too good! read more

The only thing I didn't like a lot was that some of the buffet items did not seem as fresh as they could be . Upon arrival to the Sacramento, Roseville location; entering into the restaurant was a complete vibe. Gorgeous environment. Very welcoming with staff greeting and saying hello. Once seated, our server Armando explained in detail how the food experience worked. Food was delicious. Armando, made serval great suggestions. The best suggestion was the dessert! The cheese cake was outstanding! Also, have to mention how amazingly cool hair Armando had! He made sure we were well taken care of. The ambiance was very nice. Absolutely beautiful resturant located in Roseville near a spectacular shopping center with amazing views! Both outdoor enclosed patio seating & quaint indoor seating- it offers both brunch, lunch & dining services for both casual lunches + special occasions! Came here this weekend to celebrate birthdays & it did not disappoint. At first I made reservations a few days in advance for the patio seating. A few things to note- the patio is enclosed & is beautiful but it is right next to a road- and had a makeshift tent wall- so noise is not blocked out completely if that matters. I would recommend making reservations a few days in advance if youre booking for a special occasion because the tables do fill up quickly- it is a popular resturant and can be busy in the weekends. I've been to a couple different Fogo locations. My favorite special is the market table & feijodora bar (salad bar) w/ one grilled selection or meat. My go to is the picanha. Its pretty reasonable especially at lunch & after the salad bar- you'll be pretty full. The indulgent churasco is a bit more expensive especially near dinner times & after the salad bars you'll be suprised how quickly you get full. They have an amazing salad bar with exotic fruits & veggies with soups and some charcuterie board appetizers. The picanha they serve is always amazing, served table side with the most accommodating staff. Since it was my birthday they also offered a birthday dessert- I got the tres leches & it was the best! My wife and I were introduced to Fogo de Chão back several years ago at a restaurant in Kansas City KS. The restaurant that we visted was absolutely amazing and being that we had a great experience then, let me tell you how excited we were when we realized that there was a Fogo close to our home in Folsom. Being that today is Easter we decided to go and get something to eat after Church and come home. Since we have been here before this time around we went with the same thing that we have eaten called The Churrasco Experience. Its basically the Meat, Pasta. Vegetable and Salad Bar with the Staff bringing around different types of meats. The first couple of meats that I had today were the Sirloin, the Filet Mignon and then they brought around the Grilled Pineapple. OOOH, let me tell you that both of the meats were succulent and delicious. But when you bite into the Grilled Pineapple that is actually when your palate wants to take off to the moon. Its tender, juicy and when you bite into it and all of the Pineapple Juices hits your tongue and all you want to do is eat more, you certainly know that you have hit a gold mine. The Salad Bar was filled with Fruits, Vegetables and different kinds of meats. There you have a smorgasbord of anything you could put onto your plate. Overall this place is a 5 from the friendliness of the staff, to the delicious meats that are brought over to your table to the sparkling Water that I had because I wasn't in the mood for Soda Pop or any Alcoholic beverage at the time either. The price is a little pricey but you cant beat leaving overly stuffed from everything you could get your hands on. I am not usually a big Foga De Chao person since I've had bad experiences in the Bay Area... however, the Roseville location changed that for me!!! It had me taking back every bad thing I've ever said. The food was amazing. We did the all you can eat with the cold bar. The service was great. Our waiter was the nicest young gentleman who comped me a dessert. I will be returning with friends. The only complaint I have is that the tables are a tight fit to fit more tables. So when people have to squeeze through, you have to make room on your table for their butt sometimes. read more

I went in for my birthday. Lunch. Service was excellent. Drinks always filled before I finished it. Check up was there never overstayed. The salad bar, or what you'd call it, was INCREDIBLE. The selection was huge and the flavors were varied. Shoutouts to The candied bacon , their chicken salad, and I went in on their sauces. But from the notable not one things felt underappreciated. The true spotlight, the meats. They were good. I loved the bacon wrapped steak, the garlic steak, and the bacon wrapped chicken. The other slices felt more less tasted the same. Were they good compliments to the items I got from the salad bar? Actually yes. Would I go back for the meats? I think my next visit would be salad bar only. I was very impressed by this establishment after visiting twice, once with my sister and second with the rest of my family. The ambiance was dark and classy modern with plenty of seating and lighting to not overwhelming for the experience. Both times we did the full churrasco experience. With my sister's visit we did the indulgence selection that had added sides such as the bone marrow and lobster with dessert. We also made our money's worth the market table with a variety of fresh sides and parings for the meats that were served. The service overall the second time was better than the first experience with my sister's. During our first visit the servers didnt really check up on us during our visit and they had switched out on us without letting us know of the change so we had to flag down someone before realizing that person was our acting server. The second time with the rest of my family the servers we very attentive and also ready to ask what we need. Mind you, both times were on Sundays during peak hours. The meats were so delicious and well seasoned, some cuts at some point were still moo'ing but they gauchos were more than welcome to have a cut at our desired temp. We dined here on a family friend's recommendation to celebrate my brother's birthday. The ambience is warm, elegant, and inviting--ideal for a special occasion or an intimate evening. We began with the chilled lobster and shrimp, which made for a pleasant start to the meal. For our main courses, we selected a seafood (pan-seared salmon) entrée, a lamb entrée accompanied by the market selections, and the Dry-Aged Tomahawk Ribeye. The market buffet offered a thoughtfully curated selection of salads, rice, and cheeses. The Tomahawk was the highlight of the evening, presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. The lobster tail, however, was slightly overcooked, resulting in firmer meat, and one of the shells was notably difficult to open. Service was attentive upon our arrival, as we dined prior to the evening rush. Unfortunately, once the restaurant became busier, our dedicated server did not return to check on our table, and the level of service became inconsistent despite brief check-ins from other staff members. We had also mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and were informed a complimentary dessert would be provided, but it was ultimately overlooked. Overall, the cuisine and ambience were enjoyable and well executed. We have been to Fogo three times and each time was worse than the last. The first time the Market Bar was well stocked with a variety of items including delicious grilled pears,...the last two times the bar looked picked over with little attention to detail/variety (Where did the pears go? This last time it seems stocked with low quality/priced items. Almost feels like the attendance may be down and cost cutting measures have been implemented. I would love to go for lunch but at $18 I do not see the value. The meats were good when they came around,...however the ribeye (my favorite) came around once while chicken, chicken, chicken was offered non stop. And at $75, again I question the value. It seems like the staff is trying really hard to provide great service and they are,....but there is something else going on. Excellent service,...food, variety and quality is lacking. This was my first time at this restaurant so maybe we came on a bad day but the service we had on Saturday was atrocious. Considering we got the most expensive option (I think it's called Indulgence and it costs $94/person) and we had a reservation, it felt like we were largely on our own all night. We had a 5:45 reservation--they didn't seat us until almost 6 but they were busy so we didn't mind. Then we waited for our waiter for over 10 minutes before he came. He took our drink and food order and disappears. We waited at least 15 minutes for a different waitress to come back only to tell us she didn't have enough medallions for us, the drinks were late because they ran out of cups, and we could only have one menu because they were also out of menus...again, we tried to roll with it. We ended up having to ask for the "yes serve me" medallions multiple times, flagging down whatever waiter we could. One member of our group got his lobster tail a solid 30 minutes after the rest of the table had been served their lobster tails. We saw our waiter or waitress maybe once every 30 minutes and they acted surprised we needed refills, etc. On top of this, the meat and pineapple items we wanted never seemed to make it to us so we asked MULTIPLE times (you know, the 3 times we saw a server) that we really wanted them to make it to our table. But truly, the end of the night really topped it off. When were finally able to order coffee and dessert we waited 30 minutes for coffee. COFFEE. We had to complain to get it. Dessert came 45 minutes after it was ordered and it was all slices of cheesecake that were almost certainly pre-made so I don't understand the hold up. The experience kinda ruined my father-in-law's birthday--they also never asked us if we were celebrating anything so no candle ever happened. We ended up complaining and being comped 2 of our 6 meals but who cares at that point, the night was tainted. read more

Have visited twice for brunch so far and had great experiences overall. We've done reservations ahead of time, though it wasn't too busy on the weekends we've attended. Both times, the info about celebrating a birthday didn't seem to be conveyed to whoever was serving us. The first time, we weren't asked about a celebration at all. The second time, we got asked about it at the end, which is how we found out that we could get a complimentary dessert of our choice. (The cheesecake brûlée was delicious with such a fun texture!) Meat options were delicious. My favorite was the lamb! Love the medallion system to let others know when you're ready for more meat or not. Service was super attentive. We brought our 10 month old on our second visit and was offered fries, options to modify mashed potatoes to better suit him, and even a plastic cup with straw for water. Baby loved sampling a little bit of everything! There currently isn't an easy/intuitive way to redeem rewards from your Fogo Rewards account, so be sure to speak up when the bill arrives. Parking isn't too difficult as they share a parking lot with Jared Jewelers, but there's a bigger shared lot with the other shopping places right next to that. Definitely look for Costco gift card / email promos to help with cost savings before showing up. Overall, definitely recommend this location! read more

We wanted a low key anniversary lunch and wanted to go somewhere nice that was also kid friendly. We saw that Fogo de Chao offered brunch so we made reservations for a Sunday morning. We walked in was greeted by our hostess. She was so kind and accommodating for our little ones. We were seated at our table and chose the Full Churrasco. It included the table side carving of different proteins, and the buffet of sides. The buffet options were plentiful and scrumptious. Our favorites were the waffles, sausages, pear quinoa salad, and fresh fruit. There was also a made to order omelet station. Sides were brought the table which like mashed potatoes and plantains. As for the proteins, we had rib eye, lamb, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, and sirloin. The lamb and rib eye were great. Unfortunately some of the other cuts were dry and tougher than we liked. The interior is spacious and definitely accommodating for large groups. Staff again were wonderful. They were kind and so friendly, but not overbearing. It was a great dining experience and definitely enjoyed the brunch items. We also got a complimentary dessert for celebrating. It was great time and hopefully we can come back for dinner and try the more indulgent experience. read more

My friends and I came here on a Monday night to celebrate one of them in their new chapter. It was pretty busy so luckily we did a reservation (OpenTable). The food was amazing, we did the Churrasco Experience. We love the market table and the Brazilian sides they had. They had fresh fruits and vegetables that is chilled on ice and you can grab whatever you want, however much you want. The meats that came around were really good, the servers let you know how cooked it was! I also want to give my appreciation to everyone who allowed me to bring a cake to celebrate a big milestone. Their salad bar is amazing and honestly I would go back just for that, I didn't want to fill up entirely on salad bar items since we were really paying for the meat but everything on the salad bar was amazing! The only con is it was HOT in there like people were sweating just after walking inside. We were a party of two so we were seated at a half booth between two other couples and it was wayyy too hot to be that close to other people. Updating my review.... Came w/ my roommate for their all-day happy hour. Hostess greeted us immediately & cleaned off the last hightop in the bar area. It was a Friday night & they were busy, but the service was still pretty good (came in to check on us frequently & apologized that our drink orders were taking awhile to come out). I ordered the empanadas & grilled chicken sliders, & roomie went for the hh burger w/ yuca fries. Empanandas were delicious & seasoned well & the chicken sliders were also packed w/ flavor. We showed up on time for our 4:45 reservation and did not sit down until 5:45, and it was outside, and it was only after we told them we were going to leave if we didn't sit down. For $75/person I would expect top tier, fast, and attentive service in terms of delivery of meats and drinks. B/c we we slotted into the outside area, we would see a server every once in a while and it just made it so that we didn't leave full of meat but just b/c we got tired of waiting. read more

5/10/2026 Downgrade: Mother's Day at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse started great and slowly turned into a luxury water scam investigation. We got seated instantly into the official "Millennial Parents With Kids" corner. Then this weird blonde waitress appeared and immediately filled FOUR giant glass cups with water -- including for my 2 and 4 year olds. My toddler was one bad decision away from turning the table into SeaWorld. 20 minutes later we finally got kiddie cups with straws after what felt like hostage negotiations. Asked for lamb chops 3 times. Never got them. I think the lamb escaped. Then the bill arrives: My $6 beer magically became a $12 premium beer. Fine, whatever. BUT THEN -- Turns out the waitress secretly poured "imported bottled water" into our glasses before we sat down. Charge: 2 bottles at $16 each. I asked where the second bottle was and basically got: "You already drank it emotionally." Meanwhile all night they were refilling cups from giant pitchers of regular tap water like we were at a middle school fundraiser. To their credit, they fixed the beer charge. The mysterious phantom water charge? I let it go because my kids were already entering goblin mode. As we left, a guy walked by holding two beers. I went for lunch when it would be a quieter service and food at its freshest. My server was exceptionally personable and a joy, his father should be delighted. The different types of food available for the full meal was inviting however, the execution of everything was hit or miss. Salad bar area had visual appeal- there was no one to offer to slice any iberico which was dissapointing. Not everything was labelled appropriately either so anyone with food concerns need to be hyper vigilant which defeats the purpose of enjoyment. As far as grilled meats circulating, they had their timings and some were very good, others were over salted/seasoned, and yet others were underwhelming. The chimichurri sauce was disappointing. The cheese bread when hot- you can't tell the flavor yet when it cools down it gets greasy tasting from the cheese which becomes more prominent. The plantains were phenomenal. The price of sparkling water is not to parity. It's a mid-tier experience at best which is trying to be luxury and falls short. I could go to Nugget Marketplace and get exceptional cuts of meat and cook myself at the same price point. I do not believe the price point offers exceptional value in the slightest. Our first time trying the Churrasco style dinning & it was fun at Fogo de Chao in Roseville. Purchased a discounted gift card at Costco and if you sign up for Fogo's rewards program they email you a $25 certificate for your birthday. We opted for the full charusco that includes unlimited meat and salad bar. The Pichan,flank steak and bacon wrapped chicken were all delicious. Some of the other cuts were tough and pushed aside so we could indulge in the good stuff. Salad bar was plentiful with a lot of options, Caesar Salad,beets,cheese, candied bacon, hummus but we tried to go light. We had no problem with being served plenty of meat, but as the night got busier we overheard some complaints from surrounding tables. They comped a birthday dessert for me of Cheesecake Brulee ,torched sugar over a chunk of NY cheesecake,wow super overload. Interesting dessert.(Torching made the cheesecake the incorrect consistency) We had numerous attentive servers as we arrived at 4:30 & stayed till 6:30pm . Received the incorrect bill initially, but they corrected it quickly. We had to ask for the yummy Yorkshire Pudding like cheese rolls (Table next to us was brought them without requesting them) Cleanliness of the restaurant was an issue for me. Slippery floors around the salad bar area and in the men's room. Straw's and debris on the floor. Would I return? Maybe, but I will need to fast first. read more

Came in with a large party, and our waiter was exceptional. The rotation of meats came around frequently, which was great. The chicken did take a bit longer to arrive, but everyone else was pleased with the overall pace of service. In my opinion, the space felt a little dark compared to the San Francisco location. Some of the meats also seemed to lack a bit of flavor -- I found myself wishing there were salt and pepper available at the table. That said, the overall experience was still very good, and the service really stood out. read more
