We went there last night for their Bar and Bites From the management to the staff we had a great experience. The event planner and Erica are the best. Very professional and knowledgeable plus attentive to the customers. They served various meats that were tender and flavorful. They also served crab and lobster tacos wrapped in Napa cabbage and crab cakes which was right up my alley as I'm pescatarian. They always make sure I'm talking care of. Unexpectedly disappointing for our first visit. First off, the food was phenomenal. Salad bar was fully stocked with a variety of fruits, veggie dishes, salads, and charcuterie selections. Cheese bread is to die for. The sweet plantains were delicious. The decadent chocolate cake was the perfect ending to the meal. That being said, the service can be better. Though we were seated promptly for our reservation, we had two different servers tend to us. This may have been the source of all confusion. We specifically came to Fogo de Chão to celebrate my mom's birthday and to get the Tomahawk steak. We ordered it to share and added the market salad bar for each person. After one round at the salad bar and few pieces of cheese bread, we were ready for the steak. When our server finally brought it out, it was a Wagyu, not a Tomahawk. After informing him of our correct order, the server apologized and said that it would be another 10- to 15-minute wait. We didn't mind at first, but the wait felt longer. Maybe due to our hungry tummies and not wanting to fill up on the salad bar. The Tomahawk finally came and it was carved at table side. It appeared very rare when we had asked for medium rare. The server explained that it will continue to cook on the hot salt block. So we let it sit. We took the steak off early to avoid making it salty, but it was too early. We constantly had to put our pieces back onto the salt block to cook to our desired doneness. This was disappointing because we expected already done steak to come to our table. Because we were celebrating a birthday, we were told that dessert would be complimentary. We ordered the Chocolate Brigadiero. It came out with no candle and no "Happy Birthday" writing on the plate. After the mediocre experience, we didn't bother to ask the server to add it. Lastly, when the check came out, we were charged for the mistaken Wagyu! Omg we had a blast at Fogo this evening for happy hour!! We came to celebrate my girls bday! We had so much food. I had the gold rush and the hibiscus. We shared the empanadas, lobster and shrimp tacos, filet mignon board, spinach dip, lobster Mac and cheese, charcuterie board and beef sliders. For dessert we had the cheesecake brûlée and chocolate cake ganache. The server was Mya who was amazing. She was attentive and apologized several times as our food was late. By jammed packed I mean they literally try to squeeze in as many people into a single place as possible. I even saw them rearranged tables to get the most out of a space (literally picked up tables to move them across the room). You are seated extremely close to the party next to you, no privacy. You are like a sardines with a few feet of distance between you and the party over. The environment is pretty loud, again, reflection of the overall chaotic ambiance you enter. Unfortunately, we were seated close to a corner end area across from a registered. We were often skipped when the waiters came around with the next round of meats. We were simply skipped over. Once we realized we were often skipped over, we called our waiter over. He shared he would let the servers know. However, we continued to get skipped over. The service is mediocre. We went for the first time yesterday. I would recommend reservations because they get very busy. The service was amazing! We have been to many Brazilian steak houses and this one had the guys coming around with the meats every couple of minutes. There is no way anyone could leave hungry! I also enjoyed their sides area and they had a nice selection of cold items that weren't salad. It was over 100 degrees out, so soup or pasta didn't sound good. The meats were tasty, my favorite was the bacon wrapped chicken and the pineapple was delightful! The only minor irritation is when we were finishing up, our server came by and asked if we needed any dipping sauces. We came here for our anniversary lunch, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The Market Table had a great variety of fresh options, and the endless selection of meats just kept coming. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and we got full much faster than we expected! There are few people roaming around to give you the meat. They are not even aware that they have never been in our table and they have been in the same other table for 3x now and there is like a good 20-30minutes that no one even came to us. Even though we told the other server that we haven't been serve for a while they just told us that they are rotating and they will come soon on our table. We come here regularly for happy hour, and the food is always delicious. Today, I went with the Picancha bugger which both delicious and filling. Also had the the Saucy Legs. If you like a bit of spice you love these! They are not too hot. For cocktails they are always fantastic. One thing to be be careful of is to stick to the happy hour menu for pricing. One time Iis ordered a house old-fashioned happy hour, but it was a full price. Bar service is excellent. The food service was off a bit. Had a reservation for a birthday celebration. We were sat quickly but everything after that wasn't a good experience. I asked for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. My server asked if I wanted the happy hour one, I said sure. It took over 30 minutes for my wine to arrive and that was only after I flagged a manager down who asked if the person who took my order had a thick accent, to which I said yes, and she said "ok that makes sense". Apparently there isn't a Sauvignon on the happy hour menu but no one came back to clarify. The space is small, too many staff walking around to comfortably walk. The staff also doesn't oblige to let you go by so you're aggressively pushed past. You can see and feel that operationally, there are a lot of problems. We were there for an hour and only saw 8 of the 15 meats they promised for $75 each. Waste of money. read more

Absolutely beautiful resturant located in Roseville near a spectacular shopping center with amazing views! Both outdoor enclosed patio seating & quaint indoor seating- it offers both brunch, lunch & dining services for both casual lunches + special occasions! Came here this weekend to celebrate birthdays & it did not disappoint. At first I made reservations a few days in advance for the patio seating. A few things to note- the patio is enclosed & is beautiful but it is right next to a road- and had a makeshift tent wall- so noise is not blocked out completely if that matters. I would recommend making reservations a few days in advance if youre booking for a special occasion because the tables do fill up quickly- it is a popular resturant and can be busy in the weekends. I've been to a couple different Fogo locations. My favorite special is the market table & feijodora bar (salad bar) w/ one grilled selection or meat. My go to is the picanha. Its pretty reasonable especially at lunch & after the salad bar- you'll be pretty full. The indulgent churasco is a bit more expensive especially near dinner times & after the salad bars you'll be suprised how quickly you get full. They have an amazing salad bar with exotic fruits & veggies with soups and some charcuterie board appetizers. The picanha they serve is always amazing, served table side with the most accommodating staff. Since it was my birthday they also offered a birthday dessert- I got the tres leches & it was the best! It had me taking back every bad thing I've ever said. The food was amazing. We did the all you can eat with the cold bar. The service was great. Our waiter was the nicest young gentleman who comped me a dessert. I will be returning with friends. The only complaint I have is that the tables are a tight fit to fit more tables. I was very impressed by this establishment after visiting twice, once with my sister and second with the rest of my family. The ambiance was dark and classy modern with plenty of seating and lighting to not overwhelming for the experience. Both times we did the full churrasco experience. With my sister's visit we did the indulgence selection that had added sides such as the bone marrow and lobster with dessert. We also made our money's worth the market table with a variety of fresh sides and parings for the meats that were served. The service overall the second time was better than the first experience with my sister's. During our first visit the servers didnt really check up on us during our visit and they had switched out on us without letting us know of the change so we had to flag down someone before realizing that person was our acting server. The second time with the rest of my family the servers we very attentive and also ready to ask what we need. Mind you, both times were on Sundays during peak hours. The meats were so delicious and well seasoned, some cuts at some point were still moo'ing but they gauchos were more than welcome to have a cut at our desired temp. We dined here on a family friend's recommendation to celebrate my brother's birthday. The ambience is warm, elegant, and inviting--ideal for a special occasion or an intimate evening. We began with the chilled lobster and shrimp, which made for a pleasant start to the meal. For our main courses, we selected a seafood (pan-seared salmon) entrée, a lamb entrée accompanied by the market selections, and the Dry-Aged Tomahawk Ribeye. The market buffet offered a thoughtfully curated selection of salads, rice, and cheeses. The Tomahawk was the highlight of the evening, presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. The lobster tail, however, was slightly overcooked, resulting in firmer meat, and one of the shells was notably difficult to open. Service was attentive upon our arrival, as we dined prior to the evening rush. Unfortunately, once the restaurant became busier, our dedicated server did not return to check on our table, and the level of service became inconsistent despite brief check-ins from other staff members. We had also mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and were informed a complimentary dessert would be provided, but it was ultimately overlooked. My wife and I were introduced to Fogo de Chão back several years ago at a restaurant in Kansas City KS. The restaurant that we visted was absolutely amazing and being that we had a great experience then, let me tell you how excited we were when we realized that there was a Fogo close to our home in Folsom. Being that today is Easter we decided to go and get something to eat after Church and come home. Since we have been here before this time around we went with the same thing that we have eaten called The Churrasco Experience. Its basically the Meat, Pasta. Vegetable and Salad Bar with the Staff bringing around different types of meats. The first couple of meats that I had today were the Sirloin, the Filet Mignon and then they brought around the Grilled Pineapple. OOOH, let me tell you that both of the meats were succulent and delicious. But when you bite into the Grilled Pineapple that is actually when your palate wants to take off to the moon. Its tender, juicy and when you bite into it and all of the Pineapple Juices hits your tongue and all you want to do is eat more, you certainly know that you have hit a gold mine. The Salad Bar was filled with Fruits, Vegetables and different kinds of meats. There you have a smorgasbord of anything you could put onto your plate. Overall this place is a 5 from the friendliness of the staff, to the delicious meats that are brought over to your table to the sparkling Water that I had because I wasn't in the mood for Soda Pop or any Alcoholic beverage at the time either. The price is a little pricey but you cant beat leaving overly stuffed from everything you could get your hands on. I'm writing to share my disappointment regarding our experience at the restaurant at Roseville CA location on July 21st. We had a reservation to celebrate my son's 27th birthday. Earlier that day, I personally came in and placed decorations on our reserved table. When our party of 5 arrived, the host tried to seat us at a smaller table. When I said that our table was the one with our decorations, he insisted it belonged to someone else. After several minutes of back and forth, they finally corrected it, but it was not a welcoming start. Shortly after, my son ordered a drink but only had his ID on his phone. We understood when that wasn't accepted they were so rude about it and didn't handle it in the professional way. I understand those could've done it in more professional way However, another son with proper ID ordered a drink and the server mistakenly placed it in front of the first son. Before he even touched it, a manager approached in a way we felt was unnecessarily rude and accusatory. Throughout the night, service lagged. Despite the price point, many meats were delayed or never came to our table, and we repeatedly had to ask multiple times for meat and basics like napkins and forks . When the birthday cake was brought out, there were no utensils. We asked for spoons, waited, and had to ask again before we could eat. By the end of the evening, our bill was about400 dollars. For that level of spending, we expected attentive service and professionalism. Instead, we left disappointed and felt our special occasion was not given the care that your restaurant promises. I am not writing simply to complain, but to ask that you review what happened and let me know how you plan to address it. I did email the company and general manager of Roseville location before posting this and I never heard back from them. read more

Have visited twice for brunch so far and had great experiences overall. We've done reservations ahead of time, though it wasn't too busy on the weekends we've attended. Both times, the info about celebrating a birthday didn't seem to be conveyed to whoever was serving us. The first time, we weren't asked about a celebration at all. The second time, we got asked about it at the end, which is how we found out that we could get a complimentary dessert of our choice. (The cheesecake brûlée was delicious with such a fun texture!) Meat options were delicious. My favorite was the lamb! Love the medallion system to let others know when you're ready for more meat or not. Service was super attentive. We brought our 10 month old on our second visit and was offered fries, options to modify mashed potatoes to better suit him, and even a plastic cup with straw for water. Baby loved sampling a little bit of everything! There currently isn't an easy/intuitive way to redeem rewards from your Fogo Rewards account, so be sure to speak up when the bill arrives. Parking isn't too difficult as they share a parking lot with Jared Jewelers, but there's a bigger shared lot with the other shopping places right next to that. Definitely look for Costco gift card / email promos to help with cost savings before showing up. Overall, definitely recommend this location! read more

We wanted a low key anniversary lunch and wanted to go somewhere nice that was also kid friendly. We saw that Fogo de Chao offered brunch so we made reservations for a Sunday morning. We walked in was greeted by our hostess. She was so kind and accommodating for our little ones. We were seated at our table and chose the Full Churrasco. It included the table side carving of different proteins, and the buffet of sides. The buffet options were plentiful and scrumptious. Our favorites were the waffles, sausages, pear quinoa salad, and fresh fruit. There was also a made to order omelet station. Sides were brought the table which like mashed potatoes and plantains. As for the proteins, we had rib eye, lamb, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, and sirloin. The lamb and rib eye were great. Unfortunately some of the other cuts were dry and tougher than we liked. The interior is spacious and definitely accommodating for large groups. Staff again were wonderful. They were kind and so friendly, but not overbearing. It was a great dining experience and definitely enjoyed the brunch items. We also got a complimentary dessert for celebrating. Their salad bar is amazing and honestly I would go back just for that, I didn't want to fill up entirely on salad bar items since we were really paying for the meat but everything on the salad bar was amazing! Not super busy, waitstaff were awesome and food was decent, although they were out of salmon since one of our family members doesn't eat red meat. We just went again last Friday and it was a horrible experience! They had salmon, but it didn't arrive until the rest of us were done eating. The bottle of beer we ordered was room temp. WAY too crowded - it's like they put a table/chairs in every single empty space, which I'm sure made it very challenging for the poor waitstaff walking around with the meat. For how much they charge for their food, it was NOT worth it. Oh and we waited forever for the ribeye - got it at the end, when we were already full and the fillet mignon never made it to our table. The server who helped us in the beginning was very helpful. She got us our fixings for the table (cheese bread, French fries, water, etc.). She even gave my husband a tasting of their Brazilian beer (which we ordered but had to remind them that we even ordered one. A table that came in 20 minutes after us, received their drink before he received his beer). I also ordered a drink but did not get it until 20-30 minutes in. We sat there for roughly 40 minutes and only 4 people came by our table. We ate 4 pieces of meat (honey with pork belly, tip sirloin, chicken with bacon and honey and cheese) . We kept getting skipped. The waiters kept coming to use to ask if we were okay. We mentioned we would like some meat but still nobody came. We then asked the guy who served us the honey and cheese if we can get their specific cut of meat. The guy that was going around with the picanha kept going to all the tables around us but not us. He finally made his way to us after we had to talk to a manager. The servers kept going to tables with the red side up and it was clear that our green side was up. Not sure how they kept missing our table especially if service didn't' start picking up until 30 minutes after we sat down. We left early because by that time we no longer had the appetite to eat. It just left a sour taste in our mouth. Not only was the service bad but the meat was overly salted and we were not asked how we wanted our meat. Everything was well done. I would definitely not go back here. Have not experience such bad service in a very long time. We arrived around 2:15 PM, and the restaurant was not particularly busy. Despite that, it took approximately 30 minutes before we received our first serving of steak. I had to request it multiple times from three different servers before it finally arrived at our table. The delays continued throughout our visit. Some of the appetizers and additional meat selections were not brought out until nearly an hour after we were seated. By that point, I had already lost my appetite due to the prolonged wait and lack of attentiveness. The manager did provide a discount on our bill, which I appreciated. However, the gesture did not make up for the overall experience and service shortcomings. I did not request compensation, but it seemed to be an acknowledgment of the issues we encountered. The ambience here is great and the food is genuinely really good, which is why I'd still come back. We were seated quickly with our reservation, and the restaurant appeared very well staffed with plenty of servers around. Unfortunately, the service experience didn't quite match the quality of the restaurant itself. Our drink order took a long time to arrive, and our appetizer, which was very basic, took at least 20 minutes. When it finally came out, we still had no silverware or plates and had to ask for them separately. Overall, it felt like the bar area staff may need additional training and coordination when it comes to customer service and attention to detail. It was a fun coming with my husband We had a date night here, and is a relaxed and fine dining feel to it. Their drinks are pretty good. And the meats were were flavorful. The only thing I didn't like a lot was that some of the buffet items did not seem as fresh as they could be . My first time trying Fogo de Chão was unfortunately a disappointing experience. I usually dine at steakhouses in Midtown, but chose this location because it was closer to where I was. While the restaurant itself was beautiful and well-maintained, the customer service left much to be desired. We repeatedly requested our meat to be prepared well done, yet each time we asked, the server seemed visibly annoyed and made facial expressions that made us feel uncomfortable for making a simple request. A quality dining experience is about more than just the atmosphere, and unfortunately the service did not meet expectations. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. read more

Everything was great! Kaley provided the best, most attentive service. Lots of other players came in and out to ensure we had everything we needed as well. Atmosphere and decor are top notch. Clean, well-organized, and modern. Food is almost always on point. Occasionally you get a chewy piece of meat or something is under-seasoned. But overall, the quality is great with proper cook temperatures on the meats. Everything at the salad bar is fresh. The sides offered with the meal are tasty and compliment the meal well. We went during the Taste of Brazil promotion. Can't get better than this spread for only $55! And $1 Caipirinhas on Tuesdays as a member! Epic. By far, this was the worst fine dining experience I've ever had, and honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a very long time. When we arrived, we waited over 15 minutes--we actually timed it--before anyone even acknowledged us. During that time, more than 20 servers walked right past our table. Not a single person greeted us, checked on us, or even offered to fill our empty water glasses, despite multiple employees carrying water jugs around the dining room. We were literally standing up to leave when someone finally came over to us. The salad bar was also incredibly disappointing. I ended up throwing away almost everything I put on my plate because the quality just wasn't there. The meat was no better. About 90% of the cuts I was served were so fatty that I couldn't even eat them and had to spit them out. For a restaurant that's known for its meat, this was extremely disappointing. To top it all off, we were sent home with desserts, but when I opened them there were strange white specks scattered throughout the cake that looked almost like larvae. Whether that's what they were or not, they looked concerning enough that I threw every dessert away. We spent $150 for two people, and not a single part of the meal was enjoyable--not the appetizers, not the salad bar, not the meat, and certainly not the service.
