The men arrived on time, they were greeted and then proceeded to tackle the four hour project. After removing my system, I was presented with price gouging ...$350!! I was informed that the pipes would have to be replaced because my system was corroded! During this conversation, I noticed that the *meter was still in place!! Earl informed me that the *meter would be removed and reinstalled in order to get to the water heater out of the space; I was remembering that it wasn't removed with the prior installation. After sending multiple pictures, giving the year that my home was built, and believing I was dealing with exceptional professionals, I was not expecting any surprises. After being presented with an unexpected fee, I called Earl and he didn't take responsibility for not informing me that there could be a chance that the condition of my pipes could be an issue ... at this point I'm remembering to breath and just asking Jesus to take the wheel!! "Supply and install new manufacture required expansion tank and relief valve vent tube" was included in the initial proposal. Looking at the before and after pics, the condition of my pipes was not an oversight! Please be careful and request an itemized statement with the proposal b/c Earl informed me that b.c the *meter was not removed, I received a credit and only owed an additional $100 ...what a shame. He claimed to have spoken with my tenant, understood the issue, and could come later that day for an inspection. He stated clearly that there would be a flat rate inspection fee of $59.95, as advertised and above message sent to me via your Yelp page. I provided my credit card number based on that agreement and waited for updates. By 8 PM, I had received no call. Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. I hereby put you on formal notice of the following: Your advertising and initial representations were deceptive and constitute fraud; You intentionally avoided contacting the cardholder at the time of visit under the pretense of it being too late; You charged a significantly higher amount without authorization; No actual repair was performed since the water was still leaking. and I have written statements, messages, and screenshots from multiple tenants to confirm this. You are instructed to cease all informal contact attempts with me or any associated parties. This matter will be resolved solely through formal and lawful means. If you believe you have a legitimate claim, you are entitled to pursue it through legal channels--as am I. All further communication from my side will be documented and may be used in future legal or consumer protection actions.

Quickly getting to work, he identified the problem with our gas insert. He was able to fix the immediate problem to return it to working order and then explained what was happening and why. The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

I made it very clear that the technician bring a drop cloth to place over my hardwood flooring, towels to wipe up water, and a bucket/pan to place underneath the sink to catch any water. This should be standard of any plumber that shows up to any home. No customer should have to tell a plumbing company this. None of these items were brought by the technician, Jeff. Instead, Jeff just showed up with a very dirty and rusted snake in a contractor bag, the smallest of rags, and no pan/bucket. Jeff dragged the dirty snake all over the hardwood flooring, ended up using my tenant's towels and pan - and he was slower than molasses in doing the job...he kept taking breaks while on the job. My tenant actually took the pan of water to the bathroom to empty in the toilet. Jeff failed to connect all of the snake together the first time - so he had to snake it a second time and add more links to the snake. Horrible experience. Just horrible. I will never again be using or recommending this company. I feel I was ripped off when it came to the amount charged as well. The high ratings shown do not reflect my experience at all. I don't like to give negative reviews - but I feel this one is definitely needed.

We originally hired High Quality to fix our HVAC a few years ago, but they can do basically everything. They do do a great job with everything too. They were able to find and fix a leak that two other people we hired couldn't find or misdiagnosed. I trust them to help us achieve peace of mind with our home issues and for a very reasonable price. At this point, we hire them for everything - HVAC, plumbing, appliances, drywall, even pest control. It's so helpful to be able to call or text one place that can do everything, and do it well. They also don't try to upsell you, and will do the cheap fix for you if you want it and they know it'll work. At the same time, they're happy to do a replacement or whatever you want too. If I could add a couple of extra stars, I would. Everything the other 5 star reviews have said about this company is spot on!!! Jerry and his crew replaced a leaking water heater about 3 weeks ago. We live in a tiny apartment and the water heater was in a tight spot. I called HGMS and Jerry responded in less than 30 minutes (it would have been less but they were working on another project). Jerry gave me a date and time to start the project and he and his crew were waiting for me because I got stuck in traffic. They were in and out in the time frame he gave me and cleaned everything up before they left. chose AG Heating Cooling Duct Cleaning in 2025 because their quote was cheaper than other…read morecompanies. I paid approximately $7,900 for the installation of a new Trane HVAC system. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a very expensive mistake. The Trane air conditioning system they installed had refrigerant leaks from the very beginning due to poor installation workmanship. The company promised a one-year warranty and service support, but they never came to inspect the system despite multiple requests. Because we have another HVAC unit serving the attic and the outdoor temperatures were not extremely high for much of the year, we did not realize there was a problem until the summer of 2026, when the weather became much hotter. At that point, we discovered that the newly installed system had essentially lost all of its refrigerant and was barely providing any cooling. After contacting AG again, they finally came out but charged additional fees for leak detection. Even after charging for diagnostics, they were unable to identify any leaks. Instead, they attempted to sell me an additional "leak sealant" service for approximately $395, which I declined. I then hired another HVAC company. They were able to quickly locate two refrigerant leaks, both at the original brazed joints installed by AG. These leaks were found directly at the installation connections and strongly suggest poor workmanship during the original installation. After I provided this information and evidence to AG, the company stopped responding entirely and ignored all further communications. As a result of the prolonged refrigerant loss, I am now concerned that the compressor may also have suffered damage from operating under low refrigerant conditions. I strongly recommend that homeowners carefully consider other HVAC contractors before hiring this company. A lower initial price is not worth poor workmanship, lack of warranty support, unnecessary additional charges, and being abandoned when serious installation problems are discovered. Extremely disappointed with the installation quality, customer service, and accountability. I have photos, videos, and leak test results confirming that the leaks originated from the original installation joints. Please think carefully before trusting this company with a major HVAC installation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This response does not address the actual facts. I requested an inspection only two months after installation because I was concerned the system was not operating properly. The company refused to come out. Less than one year after installation, the system had lost essentially all of its refrigerant. After AG charged me $220 for leak detection and failed to locate the leaks, another licensed HVAC company found two leaks at the original brazed joints installed by AG. These were installation-related leaks, not "third-party errors." No third party had worked on or altered those joints before the leaks were discovered. The company later offered to refund the $220 leak-detection fee if I deleted my review. I refused. Instead of accusing the customer of intimidation, the company should explain why a newly installed system lost its refrigerant, why it refused to inspect the system when first contacted, and why another company was able to quickly find two leaks at AG's original brazed connections.

As a small business owner myself, I can recognize when someone truly values their craft and their clients. Tony from AW HVAC Services came by last year when I thought our freon/coolant was low. He arrived on time, did a full check, and instead of upselling me on something unnecessary, he uncovered a much bigger issue caused by our home warranty company. Turns out our condenser and compressor were completely mismatched in size, which explained why our AC wasn't cooling properly. What really sealed my respect for him was that he refused to charge for the diagnosis. I booked him again to create a detailed report so we can take the home warranty company to SCC. Jake was our plumbing technician and he did a thorough job replacing copper pipes with color-coordinated tubing in the upstairs bathroom. Installed new shut-off valves to the vanity, toilet and tub faucets and even vacuumed before he left. We had a water pressure problem after he left, and Jimmy Gusky had another tech at the house the next day to resolve it - the solution was really simple and had to do with sediment settlement near a valve when the water main was off for repairs. It was a bit embarrassing, frankly, to have a plumber open the valve when we could have done so ourselves to clear the sediment and restore water pressure. Both plumbers were great about explaining their work and the rationale behind it while they were in our home. I recommend this company for the thorough repairs and friendliness, professionalism of their techs.

He made time in his busy schedule (squeezed in my appointment late in the day and had to work late) to run another leak test that I asked him for. He gave me the assurance I needed, not to mention a very fair pricing for the urgent leak test. Carlos is the most trustworthy contractor I've ever worked with.
