I worked with Pete on the right size and brand of the tankless heater. The tankless heater I was looking for wasn't available locally. So, Pete went the extra mile to order it from a different town. My new tankless heater looks neat and slick. It's quiet and efficient. My house is over 60years old. It has old and complicated plumbing.do, the crew had to do many adjustments to make it work. The team worked very hard to reinstall a new gas pipeline and new exhaust system. They were very professional and committed. They did not charge a single dime for all the additional work they had to do to make it work. I had a dedicated closet for my old water heater. The team hauled away my old heater, removed the unnecessary pipes (gass, water, drainage) and cleaned up the dirty closet. Now, I have an extra closet that I can use for other purposes. They installed a couple of Solar Attic Fans for us. They completely changed our cooling scene in the house. Our AC was working nonstop in this hot summer and still the inside temperature wasn't getting below 78F. Our attic is no longer a furnace and the living spaces under the attics are noticeably cooler. I use Yelp to find companies for repairs if I do not already have someone I trust for that type of work. The AC in my rental was out. The first place I called (rated 5 stars here) did show up promptly and correctly diagnosed the issue (bad blower motor) but they quoted me $1100 - which later became $1450! - to replace it. The tech told me that the furnace was severely rusted and there might be more damage from the water from the coils freezing and then thawing (the tenants ran the AC despite no cold air blowing). While he did not SAY the entire furnace needed to be replaced, his description of the amount of rust and my need to get it running quickly made me decide to replace the entire furnace for $2800. They couldn't get to it for 4 days - thankfully as it turns out!. In the meantime I had the tenant send me pictures of the furnace and I had Cool Services come out. Well, there was very little rust and Luke from Cool Services said he could get a new motor installed for $850. He also thought (as I did from the pictures) that the rest of the system was probably not damaged from the melting water. So I canceled the furnace install with the first company and had Cool Services put in a new motor. It's running fine now. The tenant is happy, the AC is happy and I ended up not spending $2000 for no reason, so I'm VERY happy. One of the most important things to me when dealing with companies, especially from a few states away, is honesty. I need to be able to trust them not to rip me of or make up repairs that are not needed. I trust Cool Services now. I don't trust the other guys.

After leaving all seemed to work well and we went on our way of replacing our floors that had been damaged due to the water leak from the clogged line. We thought we were golden until the next preventative maintenance was due in five more months...we were wrong! Apparently "Texas is hot" and clogs happen again, said Sylvia. When trying to discuss options with Sylvia, the owner, about the possibility of an insurance claim to assist in us having to replace our new floors again, she refused to even admit that perhaps the initial problem was not fully solved. That perhaps the buildup was only partially removed. And, when it got right down to it, she said the only way to prevent clogs is to have preventative maintenance every 6 months. (See timeline above). I pointed out that it was just a month ago that the line was unclogged and she repeated her stance much more slowly and clearly. I can see where me pointing out that by over annunciating didn't make the argument any more valid, might have upset her. That is about the time she said, "you are rude, and if you call me again, I will file a claim against you for harassment." and hung up. It is unfortunate that no compromise was even offered. I think perhaps offering to come out right away, unclog the line again, free of charge... that might have been nice. Needless to say I would not recommend this company, which is fine because they seem to have their hands full already. He came back with three numbers $2800 to only replace the Compressor using the old R22 cooliant $5500 -14 SEER 14 2.5T heat pump unit from carrier $10,500 -18 SEER 18 4T Green speed heat pump unit from carrier Since he only quoted carrier the most expensive units cause he is a dealer and didnt do what I ask was to present me options on p[roduct and cost. i Chose to repace only the Compressor at this time per his quote. Knowing I would be coming back to this when I expanded in the next 3 to 5 years and treplace it completly. He called me 5 days latter the day before the install to indicate he didnt feel comfotable in doing the work / repair and only wanted to install new and only carrier.- He wasted my time and days I could have gotten a capable person that would not have jacked me around. He should state up front that he only installs One product line and prefers not to repair other types of unist and just install one type. He mislead me and we parted ways based on his business ethics I suggest you find some one else to use
