The technician arrived and advised me to replace some bolts which should fix the pro lem. If not then purchasing a new unit would be the next step. We did as advised and it still didn't work- forcing us to buy a new washing machine. After purchasing and installing the new unit- we discovered the bolts he advised us to replace were in fact the shipping bolts. I would hope that a technician coming to assess a piece of equipment, given the model number/year of the machine in advance would be able to identify what SHIPPING BOLTS were. After explaining this to the manager they refused to refund the $50 fee for the error on his technicians part. Your better off going on YouTube to find a solution rather than calling their inexperienced technicians. The manager blamed us for the mistake in the end which only made the situation worse.

He said he could reapir the compressor but recommneded that we get a whole new out side unit. I asked him to give me the options product price and unit. I also indicated if I get a complete new unit that I would want to increase from 2.5T to 4T to allow for future expansion. He came back with three numbers $2800 to only replace the Compressor using the old R22 cooliant $5500 -14 SEER 14 2.5T heat pump unit from carrier $10,500 -18 SEER 18 4T Green speed heat pump unit from carrier Since he only quoted carrier the most expensive units cause he is a dealer and didnt do what I ask was to present me options on p[roduct and cost. i Chose to repace only the Compressor at this time per his quote. Knowing I would be coming back to this when I expanded in the next 3 to 5 years and treplace it completly. He called me 5 days latter the day before the install to indicate he didnt feel comfotable in doing the work / repair and only wanted to install new and only carrier.- He wasted my time and days I could have gotten a capable person that would not have jacked me around. He should state up front that he only installs One product line and prefers not to repair other types of unist and just install one type. He mislead me and we parted ways based on his business ethics I suggest you find some one else to use

I…read morewas able to get an appointment squeezed into an already busy schedule as most companies including this are usually booked up a couple weeks out which is fair . But unlike the other companies Brushy Creek Electric made and exception for my small but tedious job and where able to come out the next day . I basically had a Sonos SL One speaker in wall mounting kit that needed an outlet added to the inside of the mounting box where the speaker sits. This is so you don't have to run any plugs inside the wall but rather just plug the speaker into the wall mount itself . This isn't like a regular cord hiding kit where you just cut a hole up top and then another one next to the outlet on bottom to plug it in with the cord showing on bottom. It actually needs to be hardwired into the existing electrical wires in the wall and I wasn't about to attempt to mess with it myself not knowing one thing about electrical work other than hanging simple lights and fans. On top of the fact that my stud / wire finder was saying there where wires I could possibly cut through by accident behind the sheet rock. Also the fact this whole project was under my staircase which is built a little different from the rest of the interior walls so it's sketchy for me to just cut away. The kit is by ( Thenos ) not Thanos from the Avengers by the way which will pop up on autocorrect every time you look for the company on google incase you want one lol . I'm happy I chose Brushy Creek Electric , Greg was patient with my questions very neat with the work he did and affordable considering what I was asking him to do. He was also pretty quick with the job and made sure everything worked as it should before completing the job . I will say I called around plenty of other reputable companies and got twice the price and a longer wait time for an appointment as I did with Brushy Creek Electric. I'm not saying he's super cheap because to be fair all jobs change depending on the task and difficulty level which you should always consider . I am saying he will get the job done rite at a reasonable competitive price according to the industry standards and you won't have to worry about issues later because he definitely knows what he's doing . I say this because its not fair to make up this idea that because someone got a good deal on a job that you deserve to pay less than what is recommended and then get angry when it's not what you expect on a quote . There is always a standard most people charge it's their livelihood but this company is very fair with their prices and if they say something costs higher than what you expect to pay just remember another company might charge double just because they have a big head on their shoulders and haven't been around as long. The installation took place on June 30, but there were several issues. The technician forgot materials and had to leave and return, and the outlet wasn't installed where I requested. He also cut a hole in the drywall in the wrong spot, which left damage that wasn't repaired. I paid for the installation plus the permit and inspection fee. After the installation, I had to make several follow-up calls over the next two months about the permit and inspection date. The inspection did eventually pass, but I never received confirmation that the permit had been filed until I asked multiple times. After the inspection, I did not receive any follow-up from the owners regarding the drywall repair, even though Marty mentioned he knew someone who could fix it. The electrical work itself functions correctly, but the communication, delays, and unresolved damage made the experience less smooth than I expected based on their reviews.

Even after unplugging the dryer, I was worried about a possible fire behind the wall, so I had the Cedar Park firefighters come and check out the situation. The plug and wall plate were insanely hot. They tripped the breaker and used a meter to see if there was a heat signature behind the wall, but things would be okay. James arrived today and checked out every possible source from the breaker box to the wiring behind the wall. He replaced the outlet and plug, and fixed some wall wiring.
